*BAM* a loud deafening sound was heard.
And suddenly Arin felt he was falling at high speed. But now there were nothing that could be seen, entirely pitch black. He could feel his body once again. But this time, he realized that, he was literally laying upon a stone slab, and his body was paralyzed.
He could hear a strange chant in a frail voice-
“Nerthazir Enkigal, seg tuku;
Ilabrat, igi’bar;
Nanna, ki’nu;
Hem’netjer, nepestum!”
He had never heard such language before. But, to his surprise, he could understand the meaning. As if, something automatically was translating this strange alien language to him. The chant was-
“Lord of the Underworld Nerthazir, grant us strength;
Messengers, clear the path;
Moon God, light the way;
Champion of Death, rise!”
Arin felt it was he who was being asked to rise. But he could not. Suddenly a rectangular shaped window of fluorescent green colour appeared floating in front of him.

“What The Hell?” Arin was surprised, “Is it a game?”
Well, no good in loitering over it, only sensible option was ‘YES’, but how could he select it, as he was completely immobile right now? He could not even move his lips to say “Yes”.
“Whatever” he thought, and in his mind, he said, “Yes” and to his astonishment, he started glowing in bright green light. He felt he has regained complete control of himself now. He slowly stood up to look around.
He was inside a mausoleum it seemed. There were four more corpses laying in ground around him, all naked and strange runes were curved on their body with some sharp objects. These wounds were fresh, for blood was still dripping from those rune cravings. He looked at himself and saw same wounds were curved on him, but they were healing quickly.
“It was true” Arin heard a shout, “We made it, we have summoned Death Knight”
Arin followed the voices and discovered six people in black robe. They were all hooded, and thus face not visible much. “Wait, I am a Death Knight?” Arin wondered, and again the same window appeared in front of him.

“What the hell?” Arin’s mind came back to the current situation, “so these are some novice Necromancers who had summoned me in this world, to take control of mine?” he thought in his mind. He decided to understand the situation first, before taking any decision.
The hooded figure who was in the forefront, most probably he was the one with named Matthias, looked at Arin, “You, stupid Death Knight! I am your Master! I have summoned you! Bow down”
Another hooded figure spoke up now, “I knew it, we should have practiced with skeletons first, before going for a Death Knight!”
“Did you forget what we have in out hand?” Matthias shouted at them, “I bought this with 2 bags of silver, ritual to raise a Death Knight of Death God” he took a pause, “and you wanted to waste it on some skeletons? When six of us are together!”
“But”, said another person in the corner, “These four people we killed, we would be in grave danger if this summoning ritual fails….”
“and” interjected a fourth person, “I think we have raised a mindless dead thrall, what are we going to even do with this stupid corpse”
Matthias, by now, probably had lost all cool, and snapped. He took his stave, walked fast towards Arin, and shouted at top of his voice, “BOW DOWN”
Arin had gotten a grasp of the whole things by now. They were fledgling necromancers who had managed to get a scroll about a ritual to evoke the Champion of God of Death, but mistook it as Dead knight summoning ritual. Arin chuckled, as it was perfect opportunity for him to try his new found strength.
Again the window popped up,

“No” Arin answered in his mind, and chuckled as he walked slowly towards Matthias.
Matthias, and all of his friends at first thought that the ritual has worked. Also, the way he was walking towards them, it did not look like a shambling corpse, but a Dead Knight.
But the more Arin got closer to Matthias, the more an unknown fear captured his heart. But, due to ego, he could not share this with his partners.
Arin stopped in front of Matthias, put his hand on his head, “So you are the one who dared to summon me?” Arin slowly strengthened the grip on Matthias’s head, “this thick head of yours did not even realise what are you summoning?”
“Wh-wh-who are you?” Matthias fumbled, “Release me, it’s-it’s-it’s hurting, aaah…..”
“It won’t anymore” Arin laughed and strengthen his grip on his head further, and Matthias’s head burst like a watermelon under hammer.
The five people who were accompanying Matthias now froze in their place in terror. They had realized that they had unleashed something they could not even think of.
“S-Stop” cried the third person, “let us go you monster”
Arin did not reply, just smiled. He wanted to cast some spells on them to try them, but he did not know how to do that. “Hey, maybe I should just give command in my mind like before” he thought, “like, ‘CRIPPLE’”. But to his disappointment, another floating window appeared, -

“What the….” sighed Arin in frustration, “so mind command is only to access these status window”. He looked at the five people who were still riling in fear, and at a loss. Arin said, “cripple”, but nothing happened. The one Arin was pointing to, cried, “I am Debruz, sire, please spare me”. Rest of the four also sat on their knees, “Oh Dread Lord, these foolish servants of yours have offended you. We beg your pardon!”
Arin had become frustrated by now for his inability to cast the spell. Those five fools crying to him on their knees just made him angrier! “Oh, stop these!”, he shouted in frustration, “RISE” and to everyone’s surprise, those four corpses which were ritually sacrificed and laid beside Arin slowly stood up on their feet.
Ain chuckled and looked at those five fools, “You tried to chew more than you could swallow; and now you need to pay for the idiotic act you had done”. He looked at those four corpses which were standing still, as if awaiting command from the one who had raised them, and said, “Those five must have butchered you mercilessly. Repay these fools in kind”. Upon his command those four walking deads swiftly pounced upon the five helpless fledgling necromancers.
Those four started massacring, their victims’ cries echoed in the mausoleum, and amidst those shrieks Arin slowly sat on a slab and started processing everything that has happened till now.
