When I stepped into the Elf Graveyard area, I felt like I was being watched from behind the darkness. Without fear I finally lit my lantern to walk through this place, I saw around me there were many old tombstones and some of them were destroyed. I can't read the inscription on this tombstone at all since it's probably written in Elven Language.
The night began to feel cold with a gust of wind when it touched my skin, many soft whispers from behind the darkness but I didn't care about it. I didn't forget my aim to find valuables belonging to the ghost girl who was here but I didn't know where to start looking. Fireflies started flying from behind the tombstones and circled around my lantern. Somehow I feel calm when I see the glow of fireflies that seem to want to accompany me on this silent night.
Not long after that I saw a statue in the middle of the grave area which was shaped like a human riding an animal but the statue had no head. Embedded in the statue was a scrap of the same paper I met before. The scrap of paper contains another clue from the same author, the contents of which he wrote about that this area was once a forest of elves but most of them had been killed during a major war.
Then below this piece of paper was written a warning, “Be careful if you meet Elf in this grave because…” The rest of the writing was no longer readable. As I was trying to understand this hint I suddenly heard the sound of a tree branch snapping behind me and made me immediately draw my sword. How surprised, I saw a human but has long and pointy ears.
"Who are you?" I said suspiciously.
“H-Hey calm down, are you human?” He said raising his hand.
"Yes." I replied.
“As you can see I am an Elf. Quickly follow me, we shouldn't be in this place too long.” Said the young Elf.
Soon I heard the sound of a monster from a distance and that made me choose to follow this Elf I just met. The elf invited me to go into the deepest and darkest forest, on the way we chatted a bit about who I was and where I came from which of course I answered that question with a fake answer.
Then the Elf said that there are some other Elves who are still alive and they are in the deepest place in this forest or where the real Elf graves are, So the graves that I passed before were the graves of humans who died during the big war. The elf said that if an elf dies, the body will quickly dry up leaving the bones and the bones are put into a tree that has a hole so that the spirit of the dead elf will become a Dryad or known as a forest spirit.
After the Elf's long explanation, I unknowingly found myself in the depths of a forest with a huge tree rising up, that huge tree also had a hole filled with many Elf skulls. When we arrived at the gate of the Elf settlement, there was an old Elf who came to greet me as if he knew I was coming.
"Welcome to this secluded place, please come in." said the old Elf.
Out of curiosity I finally asked, "Before that may I know your names?"
“Ah sorry, we are forbidden from saying our names to the humans we just met.” replied the young Elf.
“Our name is from an Elven language that is difficult for human mouths to pronounce, so don't bother. Just call me Village Chief and he is Youth.” Old Elf continued.
"Fine." I said.
When I just entered this small village, all of the elves looked at me as if they welcomed me but I could feel something strange from their cold stares and fake smiles. Then I said to the head of the Elf village that I had come here to look for valuable items from human women who had stopped here, but the head of the Elf village said that the last human to visit this place was 100 years ago so it was confirmed that the items could have been lost or damaged aged.
Not believing what the head of the Elf village said, I finally asked permission to go around this place and finally I was welcome. When I walked around this place for some reason I felt that there was an oddity like the villagers who seemed to be watching me with their cold eyes, then they spoke in Elven language that I didn't understand, when I started to get confused looking for what I was looking for there I saw two little Elf children who always staring at the skull in the tree hole.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
When I approached them, I saw that their bodies looked thin and dirty to the point that many insects covered their bodies as if they didn't care if they died now. When they turned to look at me, they were surprised and tugged at my sword belt as if they were familiar with this sword belt that I was wearing.
“Vza! Vza!” Say them in Elf Language.
"What are you talking about? I don't know." I said shaking my head.
It seemed they knew that I didn't understand their language, finally one of the Elf children took the folder I was carrying and drew a picture on the ground in the shape of an Elf carrying a sword indicating a place in the folder. Now I understand, they want to say that they know the owner of this sword that originally I found this sword in the carcass of a corpse killed by a Mad Girl Ghost when I wanted to climb the ghost hill.
Because I don't know Elf's language, I deleted the Elf's picture and shook my head once again, indicating that the Elf in the picture was gone. The two little Elf children understood what I wanted to convey and finally they were sad but their tears didn't come out as if their tears had run out.
“Yvok! Yvok! Rghal de!” they said.
They spoke Elf language again which I still don't understand, suddenly came a young Elf that I knew and his arrival immediately made the two small Elf children silent in fear. The Elf youth immediately took me to the Village Head's place and said that they had human relics which might be one of the things I was looking for. When I arrived at the old house, the Head of Elf Village let me in and there was already food and piles of goods.
"Why don't you just rest first? You must be tired and hungry right? Eat it while it's warm." Elf Village Chief said who then left me alone.
At that moment I realized that all this time I haven't eaten anything and strangely I don't feel hungry or thirsty at all, is it because I'm a ghost? Not wanting to linger, I finally decided to look for what I was looking for in that pile of stuff, soon I found another piece of paper containing instructions that I could find what I was looking for by just touching that item. This clue always makes me think about what is the meaning behind this hint, without realizing it a needle shot into my neck and the attack immediately made me weak and fell down.
“Ezta, Yve Ighradno Svylat!” Elf Village Head said.
“Rvah Ikth.” Said the young Elf.
Now I realized that these Elves framed me and I saw many ventilation holes that were used to carry out this poison needle attack. Because I couldn't move my hand to take the antidote that I had made, I was finally hit on the head by the Elf youth until I fainted. It didn't take long for me to wake up on a large rock, my hands and feet were tightly tied and there I saw many Elf residents gathered with smiles accompanied by their cold gazes.
“W-What happened to me?” I said.
"Be grateful, you will be made an offering to our King." Said the young Elf.
“W-What did you say?!” I replied
“Even though I was hoping that you would eat the poison bread I made so that your stomach would be filled before you died. Oh, but don't worry, we only took your guts and lower body, so we'll throw the rest of your body into the river and you can be free again. Ha ha ha!" Said the young Elf.
“HGHVAR!” Elf village chief shouted along with his citizens.
The Head of Elf Village then stabbed my stomach repeatedly until my insides came out with blood soaking the offering stone. The Elves all screamed happily as if to cover up the screams of pain I was suffering from. In this crowd I was tortured just to be used as a sacrifice for their King but behind the happy faces of the Elves, I saw the two small Elf children I met earlier tied to a pillar with several cuts. Their faces were frightened, but their hands, which were tied together, could no longer cover their eyes when they saw me dying in pain.
"Why? … Why are they doing this?” I said to myself.
After my body was cut in half, the rest of my body was thrown into the flowing river. The rest of my blood made the river water red and at that moment I saw a river ghost floating in the river like me. It made me think that this river ghost was the sacrifice of the Elves. Arriving in the white mist, the river ghost's hands began to slowly pull me into the water until I died.
When I woke up, I was already in the place where the Dark Beings were waiting for me.
"You've died ninety-nine times." Said the Being of Darkness.
“What will happen if I die more than a hundred times?” I asked.
“You will slowly become something terrible, but calm down. I will give you a little surprise!” Replied the Being of Darkness.
When I revived, I stood in front of the two small Elf children with cuts and they were facing the skull on a large tree. What is this? It seemed that I had experienced this before and when I approached the two young children, they screamed the same words I heard before.
“Vza! Vza!”
When I came to my senses, I immediately covered the mouths of the two little Elf children and I used a gesture to tell them to be quiet. Then I drew a clue on the ground by giving them a map, I gave a hint for them to wait for me outside the Village and luckily they understood what I meant. Then came the Elf youth who invited me to come to the Elf Village Chief's house.
Now I realize that time has gone backwards and now I am repeating the events that I have experienced, this is my chance to avoid death. Before I walked towards that place, I asked the young Elf.
“Do you know what Yvok and Rghal mean?” I asked
“Hey I'm surprised you can speak Elf, that means run and danger. But don't worry, there's no danger here because this place is protected.” he replied
“I see, thank you”
I quickly plunged my sword into the Elf's throat until he couldn't scream and died with his head chopped off, if I had to kill to survive then I would. To launch my attack, I hid the Elf's corpse and took the knife weapon then I drank an antidote to avoid the effects of the poison. When I headed to the Elf Village Chief's house, I met him and immediately plunged the knife into his throat and penetrated his mouth. Knowing that, the Elf who was behind the vent immediately attacked me with their poisoned needles but I already knew that and the poison would have no effect on me, I finally used my electric elements to counterattack them and ended up making a scene.
Some of the Elves used their fire magic to attack me but I was able to dodge the attack with my element power electricity to speed up my movement for a moment. In cold sweat, I managed to kill several Elves until their blood soaked the village streets. The angry elves finally went berserk by releasing their fire magic and attacking blindly to attack me but I managed to avoid it, until they didn't realize they burned their own village and woke up their King.
“HGHVAR!” The citizens immediately prostrated themselves before their King, Elf King Hghvar who had the form of a gigantic black tree monster and roared loudly when I met his eyes.
GRAAAA!
