As Skalain ventured into Red Copper Town, the guards at the entrance couldn't help but exchange a few murmurs amongst themselves.
One guard, younger and more animated, commented on Skalain's demeanor.
"He was calmer and more peaceful than many other dark mages that I have encountered."
The guard found it surprising that Skalain appeared to be unfamiliar with certain basic aspects of the town and its customs.
The other guard, older and more experienced, leaned casually against the gatepost, a knowing smile gracing his lips. He responded to the younger guard's observations.
"They're a different breed, those mages," the older guard mused, his voice tinged with a mixture of respect and wariness.
"Their ways of thinking are often beyond the comprehension of ordinary folk. It's best not to meddle too much in their affairs."
"As they are different and have different kinds of purposes, it brings out a lot more different personalities."
"A man or a mage that looks kind may be the one with the real danger, and the one who looks evil and rude may have the kindest heart among them. When it comes to humans, there is never an exact type of human heart."
The younger guard nodded.
He understood the older guard's advice, recognizing the need to respect the boundaries of mages and their mysterious ways.
In the end, both guards shared a mutual understanding.
They continued their watchful duty, keeping a watchful eye on the comings and goings of the town while leaving the mysteries of the mages to unfold in their own enigmatic way.
Skalain, who kept walking on the streets of the Red Copper Town, asked a man about where he could sell the pelts and fur as well as the meat and learned that there was a place called Huntsman Hut.
"I should go there."
In less than ten minutes, Skalain found the place the man spoke about, and then he approached the tall woman at the Huntsman Hut, carefully carrying the pelts of the rabbit-wolf hybrids. He greeted her with a warm smile, eager to showcase his recent find.
"Good day! I've come across these remarkable pelts of rabbit-wolf hybrids. Quite the rare creatures, I must say."
The woman looked up from her tasks, her eyes immediately drawn to the furs in Skalain's hands.
"Oh, those are quite unique indeed. May I have a closer look?"
Skalain nodded, gently unfurling the pelts and presenting them to the woman, who studied them with a discerning eye.
"Impressive quality, no doubt. These pelts are in excellent condition."
"These creatures you hunted are called Rabitskr and Rabitskrs in plural."
Skalain nodded.

"I don't like being taught, but whatever. Right now, I just need to listen."
"Yes, I took great care in obtaining them. The creatures put up quite a fight, but I managed to secure these pelts."
The woman's gaze shifted from the pelts to Skalain, a glint of curiosity in her eyes.
"You must be quite skilled to have overcome such fierce creatures. I admire your dedication."
Skalain chuckled modestly, humbled by her praise. Of course, it was all an act. He was not fooled enough to get his emotions swayed just because of kind words.
"Thank you. It wasn't an easy feat, but I'm always up for a challenge."
The woman's gaze lingered on the pelts, a thoughtful expression crossing her face.
"These pelts are certainly valuable. They would be a great addition to my collection. Let's discuss a fair price."
Skalain nodded in agreement, ready to negotiate.
"I understand their worth. I believe they deserve a price that reflects their rarity and quality."
The woman and Skalain engaged in a lively conversation, discussing the value of the pelts and haggling over the price.
After some back-and-forth, they finally reached an agreement that satisfied both parties.
"Alright, considering the exceptional nature of these pelts, I'm prepared to offer you five dark silver coins. It's a fair price, don't you think?"
Skalain's eyes lit up with delight, pleased with the offer.
"That sounds more than fair. I accept your offer. Five dark silver coins it is."
With the deal sealed, the woman counted out the coins and handed them to Skalain, a smile playing on her lips.
Thank you for bringing such remarkable pelts to me. It's not every day we come across something so special. If you find more, don't hesitate to return."
Skalain gratefully accepted the coins.
"I appreciate your business. Rest assured, if I come across any more treasures, I'll be sure to bring them your way."
With a final nod of appreciation, Skalain bid farewell to the woman and left the Huntsman Hut.
Skalain walked through the bustling streets of Red Copper Town, searching for a place to rest after his successful trade at the Huntsman Hut. After some walking, he found a place called Black Beeer Inn and decided to spend time there.
As Skalain entered the inn, the warm aroma of hearty meals and the lively chatter of patrons filled the air. The innkeeper, a stout and friendly individual, greeted him with a welcoming smile.
"Welcome, traveler! Looking for a place to stay?"
Skalain nodded, his fatigue evident in his eyes.
"Indeed, I could use a comfortable room for a week. How much would that cost?"
The innkeeper leaned on the counter, considering Skalain's request.
"For a week's stay, it'll be one silver coin. We've got some nice, cozy rooms available. Shall I reserve one for you?"
Skalain reached into his pocket, retrieving a silver coin and placing it on the counter.
"That sounds fair. Here's the payment for the week."
The innkeeper collected the coin with a nod of appreciation.
"Thank you. You won't be disappointed with our accommodations. Room number six is yours. Enjoy your stay!"
Skalain expressed his gratitude with a polite smile and headed towards the stairs.
As he settled into his room, he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief.
"It is good to have a bed to rest in." It is better for me to sleep for some time before thinking about what to do next."
Skalain lied down on the bed, and within no time he fell asleep.
About seven to ten hours later, he woke up.
After freshening up, Skalain's growling stomach reminded him that he hadn't eaten since morning.
He descended the stairs and made his way to the inn's dining area, where he was greeted by the aromas of sizzling meat and the clinking of tankards.
Skalain found a vacant table and seated himself.
The friendly waitress approached, ready to take his order.
"Good evening, sir. What can I get you?"
Skalain glanced at the menu.
"I'll have a plate of meat, cooked medium, and a mug of your finest beer, please."
The waitress jotted down his order with a hint of a smile on her lips.
"Coming right up. That'll be two copper coins, please."
Skalain reached into his coin pouch and handed her the required amount.
"Thank you. Looking forward to the meal."
As Skalain waited for his food and drink to arrive, he soaked in the lively atmosphere of the inn.
Soon enough, the waitress returned with a steaming plate of tender meat and a frothy mug of beer. Skalain's eyes lit up at the sight, and he wasted no time savoring the delicious flavors.
As he indulged in his meal, Skalain couldn't help but appreciate the satisfying combination of the well-cooked meat and the refreshing beer.
"For the time being, everything looks and feels good enough."
