I found old man puffs store, i walked in and was immediately welcomed by the nicest grandfather esqe person I had ever met. Old man puff even put up with me being a complete noob, he also helped me recieve my gold that I got from my pro edition of the game. He helped me verbally open my mailbox by speaking the word mail. Talk about super advanced Ai's. I ended up recieving my 100 gold ,but to me that made me feel like a millionaire. Besides most of the items in puffs stuff only cost a single silver each . I ended up asking puff if he had any rouge set related items ? He gave me a wide toothy smile and left and came back with a large flat box. When I opened the box a bright light flashed and a window appeared , would you like to buy the unique set item, Novice Shadow Stalker set? Full set includes leather helmet, chest, pants, gloves, boots, 2x arm bracers and 2x uncommon daggers and 8x uncommon rings I looked at the price 5 gold . Not the cheapest set nor would it be the most expensive I figured. I tapped the holographic yes button and auto equipped the whole set in one go. I thanked the owner and bought 10 health potions and 5 stamina potions he gave me a good price of just 1 silver so I decided to buy a small bag of holding for 10 gold . I was able to bind it to my character so in case I ever died and came back to life the bag would respawn with me at the very least. I left his shop feeling pretty good , I then started looking around for a skills trainer . I found one , and grabbed a few skills I thought I might need like backstab, flurry of blades, stealth strike, scorpion wire , sharpen blades and apply poison.

I went out of the city in search of something low level to fight. There were many players coming and going through the front gate. I noticed a large group of rabbits and decided to give my newly acquired skills a try. I slipped into the the shadows using stealth strike which automatically refreshed since it hadn't hit a target and crept up behind a bunny and plunged both my daggers into the large rodents spine. It let out an audible high pitch squeal and fell over dead . I recieved a new message, Congratulations you have gained 500 experience you have gained a new level, you are now level 2.

I opened up my character sheet and added 5 points to agility and 5 points to my vitality. I then proceeded to kill alot more rabbits. After killing all 50 rabbits , I moved on to killing boars which was a bit trickier , mostly because they have three times the health of the rabbits. I had forgotten I had extra skills and immediately used apply poison , and sharpen blades.

I used my back stab and combined it with flurry of blades doing almost non stop stabs before the level 5 boar dropped dead at my feet. I heard a player scream in the distance and moved along too see what the hell was going on. Some idiot noob had aggro'ed most of the forest. It would seem foxstorm had a few employees in there game department that liked a few laughs because instead of helping the player out when he got close to the guards they just snickered , and laughed , saying things like lordy that player was a total noob , did you see him squeal before he bit the big one Eric , its days like this that make being a guard bearable. The noob died while all the mobs he had pulled went back to where they were previously. At least I thought they all had , but before i had turned all the way around a sound like a carnival ships fog horn sounded out and was speeding toward me. I only had enough time to make out 3 details that told me to run like hell . First it had a black skull over its head which meant small raid mob , the second was i managed to see its health , 1,000,000. The last thing i noticed was that you would be surprised how effing scary a bright yellow emu can be when it's running right for you sqwaking its lungs out. I got its name before terror shook me out of my funk. The boss monster was named Peky the Vengeful.

I took off like a mad sprinter going for the gold medal. I made a mistake and turned my head a fraction of an inch ,and was greeted with a very close sharp beak to my face , sqwaking and honking. I ran so fast and hard my stamina nearly bottomed out. I flicked the stopper off one of my stamina potions and downed it in one go. I reached for my 2nd and noticed my stamina was going up extremely slowly and popped the stopper on the second and drank that one down too . I managed to reach full stamina before it started to drop like a stone again. I managed to increase the distance between us staying just 6 feet in front of the giant yellow emu. I was feeling slightly cocky having stayed alive this far , I turned and started taunting the giant chicken nugget.

I screamed phrases like hey yellow choccobo shouldn't you be giving the main character from final fantasy 7 a ride. I can go get some reins and a saddle if you would like and make you my mount. Hey big Bird , snuffalupagus from sesame street called , he wants there main character back . That last taunt did it and a bright red glow came from Pecky, his speed increased and the distance between us shortened quickly. Great I said now I have a bright red flaming chicken nugget chasing me , where is colonel Sanders from KFC or a Chick-fill-a when you need one ! I was about to pop another stamina flask when I got a very welcome message , Congratulations you have gained 4000, experience you are now level 7. I blinked rapidly... my eyes opened wide , level 7, when had I gained level 6? Aw well i shrugged my virtual shoulders and opened my stat points and poured 10 points into agility, and 10 into endurance, and hit accept then promptly fell having not had time to acclimate to my bodies new speed changes and snagged my left foot on a twisted root and went flying for 40 feet. Pecky came running at me and promptly fell down a very larg hole in the ground, honking the whole time he was falling. I stayed there on the ground panting, a slow smile forming on my face. A minute went by and i recieved a system message Congratulations to FenrirFangz for defeating the scourge of the forest Peky The Vengeful. You have gained a first achievement. Choose your reward . A list of 7 choices appeared before me and I chose movement speed increased by 200% when enraged, Congratulations you have gained a passive skill , "Enraged", Description: when ever you are running you have a 7% chance per minute to activate the enraged state ,this state doubles movement speed for 50 seconds. I moved to the edge of the hole in the ground and gave my last goodbye to that flaming chocobo reject. I turned and my foot twisted, I jumped and I lost my footing , I only had enough time to pull my daggers out and thrust them into the ground before I lost my grip and fell into the black abyss below. I figured I would be waking up in a resurrection graveyard, however when I came to I saw my health was flashing, I had survived the fall and was sitting at 3 hp . I looked around the room , then I scrolled through my logs , I had found the unique location called the caretakers Conundrum . As soon as my health started to slowly recover , my vision changed and i was forced to watch a 10 minute cut scene about the Caretakers Conundrum.
