Bellphegor laid still for a moment, letting the system’s explanation go on
When the silence returned, he finally moved, glancing at the deer carcass nearby.
Who would've thought a simple hunting trip could almost cost him his life?
He sighed, mentally uttering, "Menu", which summoned the system interface before him.
---
[{Multiversal Gacha System}
{Gacha}
{Store}
{Inventory}
{Multiverse}]
---
The system was simple, with only four options, all of which even a child could understand.
The inventory function was the simplest: an apparently limitless space within the system to store items.
Keeping that in mind, Bellphegor quickly approached the deer carcass, wishing it to enter his inventory.
Nothing happened.
A frown crept across his face. He tried again, but still no reaction. It wasn’t until he physically touched the deer that a prompt appeared.
---
[Alert: Would you like to collect {Adult Deer Carcass X1}?
{Yes} or {No}]
---
"So I have to touch the item first... disappointing, but fair."
He promptly stowed the deer into his inventory and began running back, abandoning even the remnants of his bow.
He’d lingered far too long in the forest, and nightfall was approaching. If he couldn’t hold his ground against a kobold in daylight, he didn’t want to imagine what awaited him in the dark.
---
When Bellphegor finally returned to the house he shared with his grandfather, he was wrapped in bandages, his ears ringing from the scolding he’d received from the villagers.
Apparently, venturing too far from the village and nearly dying warranted a lecture. Who knew?
If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
"Okay, okay! I get it! I almost died, thanks for the reminder!"
He threw himself onto his bed, already informed by the villagers that his grandfather hadn’t yet returned from the neighboring village.
While he wanted nothing more than to sleep, the itch to roll the gacha was unbearable for someone who, in his past life, had been addicted to such games. So without second thought he opened the {Gacha} interface.

[Notice: Welcome to the {Gacha}!
Here, you’ll have the chance to hit the jackpot and receive a variety of rewards from across the multiverse! From items to powers and even characters, you have the chance to win it all!]
---
---
[Notice: The {Gacha} has a few simple rules, accessible by clicking the question mark below the currently displayed banner.]
---
Bellphegor squinted at the interface, a bitter expression forming on his face.
Of course, the layout looked exactly like Genshin Impact's. Thankfully, there were no weapon banners—yet.
For now, only two banners were available: the [Danmachi Banner] and the [Beginner’s Banner], which displayed an variety of characters.
Sighing, Bellphegor clicked the question mark, looking through the {Gacha} rules.
"Why is the explanation so unnecessarily long!?"
The text was flooded with numbers and probabilities that his tired brain refused to process. Still, he managed to glean the basics, thanks to his prior gacha experience:
1. 10 pulls grant an extra pull.
2. Each pull costs 1 Helix Ticket or 100 Helix Points.
3. Rewards range from 3 to 6 stars. Items and powers of 6 stars are exclusive to limited-time banners.
4. Banners are universe-specific. To unlock a banner from a particular universe, he must first visit that universe.
5. Event banners are rare, requiring specific conditions to unlock. The criteria are not disclosed.
6. The [Beginner’s Banner] is a limited-time event, designed to give new users a solid start. It disappears after 10 pulls.
He also recalled the earlier system message: Helix Tickets and Helix Points are rewards for completing missions.
"But… I don’t see anything about missions in the menu."
He frowned. If the other missions were like the first one, they’d trigger without his knowledge. That meant he’d need to be extremely cautious with his Helix Points.
Would he be cautious, though?
Probably not.
Glancing at the top of the gacha interface, he noted his current resources.

[Helix Tickets: 10 | Helix Points: 0]
---
"Healing my body even drained the points I earned? Oh, come on!"
With that thought, he clicked the 10-pull option, watching as the screen began to shake and darken. Slowly, it transitioned to a faint purple glow before revealing his first reward.
---
[Notice: Congratulations, User! You’ve received a 4-star item: {Electro Vision}!]
---
Bellphegor nearly fell off the bed.
- "Karma" - he thought bitterly. - "This has to be karma"-
Of all the items he could’ve received…
"Why did it have to be something from Genshin Impact?"
He groaned, flailing in frustration before composing himself and opening his inventory.
---
[Item: {Electro Vision}
Effects:
- {Electro Affinity}: Increases the user’s connection to Electro-related elements, such as lightning and thunder.
- {Electro Holder}: While in possession of this item, the user can generate and manipulate the Electro element.
---
Bellphegor sighed for what felt like the hundredth time that day. The description was straightforward but vague.
"How am I even supposed to use this? Ugh… I guess ill figure it out later."
He returned to the gacha screen, which now displayed the 4-star item, and initiated the next pull.
The screen shook again, darkening before glowing with a faint yellow hue.
His eyes widened.
"Could it be…?"
The glow intensified, becoming a radiant golden light that nearly blinded him. Five stars glittered on the screen.

[Notice: Congratulations, User! You’ve received a 5-star ability: {Falna}!]
