The TARDIS was flying at high speed while trying to avoid energy attacks.
"Great, we can't have some peace in our travels, can't we?!" Natsumi complained.
"What should we do, Doctor?!" Hajime asked.
"It appears that our pursuers don't want to give up on us, but I have a plan to escape!" the Doctor said.
"What is it?!" the two humans asked.
"You see the watch?" the Time Lord, said, while activating the Chameleon Arch. "Whatever it happens, you must not lose it!"
----------------------------------------
The sun was high on the Island, a boy with white hair and grey eyes woke up from a bizarre dream. The first thing he saw the moment he opened his eyes was a dark skinned girl with eyes and ocean-blue eyes. She was wearing a white bikini top with blue-pale frills and a the blue skirt with white frills sewn to the bottom of it and a blue bow at the waistband. She was also wearing a yellow vest which reaches below her knees.

"Yoo-hoo!" she said.
"Ngh...Good morning, Angie." the boy spoke, smiling at her childhood friend and bertrothed.
"My, you sure are a sleepy head!"
"Yeah, sorry. I had a weird dream today..."
"Huh, a dream?" Angie tilted her head. "What kind of dream?"
"I was dreaming of...being an adventurer, that could travel through time and space. It was...Fantastic."
"Oooh, seems wonderful! But, let's go, Nagito! A wonderful day blessed by Atua awaits us!" Angie was energetic.
Nagito stood up, maybe it's better if he forgets about that dream for now.
But...was it really a normal dream? Is he really a normal native?
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------
Angie and Nagito were living togheter in a wooden house on the sea, on the island called "Jabberwock Island". The two were painting togheter. While the girl was painting tribal-style art, Nagito was painting things related to his dream. He painted 15 different faces that looked very familiar to him, some kind of metal human, and some sort of compost bin with an eye.
"Oh, you're painting again the faces of your dreams, my beloved?" Angie commented.
"Yeah, I am. I don't know why, I think some of them are familiar to me. I wonder if Atua knows who these people are." Nagito said.
"Don't worry, my beloved! I'm sure Atua will give you an answer one day." Angie hugged him from behind.
"I think you're right." Nagito said. "Thank you, Angie." he smiled.
The couple had quality time painting, but they didn't know they were watched by someone.
That someones were Hajime and Natsumi, disguised as natives of the Island.
"Ah, fucking great." Natsumi commented, angered. "Not only that fucker tasked us to be the babysitters of his human persona, he's even being lovey-dovey with that chick!"
"Hey, calm down. I don't think the Doctor expected to fall in love with someone."
"How can he not expect that?"
"He's not a human, remember? Plus, it's the Doctor, so it's a weirdo from the start." Hajime said.
"...You're right." Natsumi said.
The two left for the moment and returned to the TARDIS.
"What are we supposed to do with him?" Natsumi asked.
"The only thing we can do is following the Doctor's instructions, observe his human version and wait that our pursuers die." Hajime said.
"We need really to do this for a month?! these clothes are too fucking embarassing!" the Yakuza Princess pointed out to the brown-haired young man, she was wearing a long white skirt and a native-looking bikini top.
"Oh, come on, you look nice. These native clothes suits you." Hajime tried to calm her down by complimenting her.
"Don't say that, you fucking perv!" Natsumi said, blushing profusely from embarassment.
"Sorry...Well, let's continue the task he gave to us."
----------------------------------------
In a nutshell, the Doctor and his companions were running away from a group of aliens, that wanted to capture him. So, in order to hide, he decided to use once again the Chameleon Arch, disguising him as a native young man from 5448 BC who lives on an island in the middle of the Pacific. Natsumi and Hajime were given the task to watch over his human persona for the meantime, mimetise in the tribe and to protect the TARDIS. Also, in case their cover would be blown up, to open the biodata module (where his Time Lord essence is stored), which is pocket watch-shaped, so that the Doctor could return back to normal.
The alias the Doctor asssumed was that of Nagito Komiyode, a totally normal native young man that lives on Jabberwock Island. Since his parents were dead, he lives with his childhood friend, Angie Yonaga, the vessel of the local god, Atua, and the local beauty of the island.
"Say, Angie, did you grew bigger during the night?" Nagito asked.
"Hm?" Angie titled her head. "Oh, yes! I grew bigger again! It's a blessing from Atua! He wants me to have the perfect body for you , my husband!"
The girl ran around Nagito, like an energetic child.
Nagito couldn't help but smile.
"Again with this story? We're not married." He chuckled.
"Not yet! We're bethrothed, remember?" Angie laughed too.
"My point still stands, anyway. Come on, let's go to the sanctuary, I don't want to let Atua wait too much."
"Yeah!"
The two went towards the shrine in the forest of the Island.
Natsumi and Hajime continued observing them, while hiding between the local population.
----------------------------------------
Meanwhile, on the other side of the island, an mysterious space ship landed and abducted a woman who was fishing.
"Abduction"...Well, not really. Since the woman thought she was in front of a divine presence, she willingly followed the aliens, much with her demise.
----------------------------------------
Angie and Nagito, after a praying session in the shrine, returned to their wooden house. Angie, in fact, was pretty ecstatic for what will come this evening.
This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there.
"We should get ready for tonight! Tonight, will be our marriage ceremony! I can't wait to reach sweaty salvation with you, my love! Nyahahaha!"
"Yeah, let's not talk about for the moment. But I'm happy you're wearing the amulet I gifted you."
Angie looked at the biodata module she was wearing as a necklace. "Yes! This amulet is fantastic! I can hear Atua's voice speaking with me!"
"That's great!" Nagito said.
While speaking, Angie could still hear voices coming from the biodata module. They changed everytime and said phrases like this:
"One day, I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back."
"You were fantastic, absolutely fantastic!"
"Power mad conspirators, Daleks, Sontarans - Cybermen! They're still in the nursery compared to us."
"Come on, Ace! We've got some work to do!"
"Physician, heal thyself."
"I don't want to go..."
"GERONIMOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Angie went back to painting.
Natsumi and Hajime continued observing the "human" couple. But they weren't the only.
In fact, a group of the same aliens from before have infected more natives, searching for the Doctor. They sniffed the area, and decided to talk with other natives to find some information.
One of the aliens, disguised as a native girl with dark hair and dark skin, approached Natsumi, thinking of her as a normal native.
"They do seem happy, don't they?" The alien tried their best to sound like a normal human.
"Ah, it's you, Leilani." Natsumi said to "Leilani", one of the natives that she "befriended". "Yeah, they are. Especially that chick is very ecstatic with that clo-I mean, amulet."
"Leilani" sniffed the air, and sensed traces of the biodata module. She closed her eyes, and informed her similars.
"I can sense the Time Lord's essence. He's hiding in this village." she thought/spoke.
"Good, It appears the humans will gather for a ceremony, we'll force the Doctor to come out there." another voice responded to her.
----------------------------------------
The night arrived, and the wedding ceremony was going to start.
All the people of the village reunited for the wedding, there were dancers and musicians that performed for the soon-to-be newly wed couple.
Angie was very proud of her orange dress. Even if, for Hajime and Natsumi, it had an Indian vibe, rather than Polynesian. Since it was a special occasion, she decided to leave the biodata module/amulet at their home, which was immediately stolen by the Doctor's companions.

"Yoo-hoo! How do I look?"
"Fantastic." Nagito commented, he instinctively did a Lancashire Northern accent when he said that.
"Nyahaha! I knew you would have like it!" Angie bounced in joy. "This marriage will be truly a blessing!"
The celebration was starting, until one of the aliens incinerated a native.
Everyone panicked but they were stopped when all the group showed up.
"Quiet, you savages!" One of the aliens, supposedly the leader, spoke. "We're the Drukvaids, we're searching for the Doctor. We know that he's hiding between you all, disguised as a human. So, if he doesn't come out...Everyone here will die."
Everyone went silent, but luckily, Natsumi, without being seen, opened briefly the biodata module, confusing the Drukvaids with the Time Lord's scent.
While distracted, some natives fought back, managing to evacuate from the shrine.
Nagito and Angie ran away togheter, until they noticed Hajime, saying:
"Doctor-I mean, Nagito! Over here!" he said.
The two followed him and hid in the bushes with the brown-haired boy.
"What is going on?! Did demons possesed some of us?!" Nagito tried to elaborate what just happened.
"It must be it! Our wedding was blessed by Atua!" Angie said, in comparison to her groom, she was much more composed and easy-going on this situation, like always.
"No, not really demons. They're aliens." Hajime explained.
"...Aliens?" the couple looked at Hajime, confused.
"Well, to cut short, those aliens or demons, if you want, where chasing me, Natsumi and the Doctor. Now, they're searching for the Doctor and by that, I mean, you." Hajime pointed at Nagito.
"Huh?" Nagito was confused. "I'm what?"
"You're the Doctor. You're not a human. You're an alien adventure that travels through time and space. And me and Natsumi are your companions."
Nagito's eyes widened. "So...My dreams...are all real?" Hajime nodded.
"Follow me, Natsumi is waiting for us at the TARDIS." he said.
The trio, while going through the forest, met with Natsumi, who was looking at the TARDIS.
"You're late. They surrounded the TARDIS." Natsumi said.
"Ah, great." Hajime sarcastically commented.
Meanwhile, Nagito was staring at the mysterious blue box and started to connect the dots. If everything it's true, then...What is he?
"So, it's true? I'm...What did you call him, the Doctor?" Nagito asked.
"...Yes it's true. Sorry for the bluntness. But...We need the Doctor now." Hajime said.
"But...How can I help you in this moment?"
Natsumi showed them the biodata module.
"Oh, it's the amulet!" Angie said.
"It's not an amulet, it's a "biodata module" or whatever the hell he called it." The Yakuza princess corrected Atua's vessel.
"If you, Nagito, open it, the Doctor will return." Hajime said.
"And...What will happen to me?" The faux human asked, silence fell in the group, and Nagito realized. "I'll die, won't I?"
"I'm sorry."
"Honestly, I wouldn't waste any second to save the island, It would be an honor for me to sacrifice myself for Hope, but..." Nagito turned to Angie. "I won't see you again, only the Doctor will."
Angie took Nagito's hand, and smiled. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. Atua will watch over you and the Doctor, if he's you, I'm sure this "Doctor" is a good person."
Nagito smiled. "Thank you." he looked at the biodata module. "Okay, Doctor. I put all my hopes in you, save everyone, save the island and bring Hope to it. May Atua bless you in you." He opened the module, and light covered his body. While he was overwhelmed by his memories, he could see all of his life from his 1st incarnation to the current one, the 16th (or 17th, if you count a certain one) while a calm and quite eerie melody played in the background.
Then, he heard various voices speaking.
"I am the Doctor, the original, you might say!"
"The Time Lords are an immensely civilized race. We can control our own environment. We can live forever, barring accidents and we have the secret of spacetime travel."
"I reversed the polarity of the neutron flow."
"Would you like a jelly baby?"
"A man is the sum of his memories. A Time Lord even more so."
"In all my travelling throughout the universe, I have battled against evil, against power-mad conspirators. I should have stayed here. The oldest civilization - decadent, degenerate, and rotten to the core!"
"Come on, Ace! We got work to do!"
"I'm a Doctor, but probably not the one you were expecting."
"Great men are forged in fire. It is the privilege of lesser men to light the flame."
"Fantastic!"
"I don't wanna go..."
"Hello, I'm the Doctor. Basically...Run."
----------------------------------------
In the spaceship...
"Do we have any signs of the Doctor?" the leader asked.
"No sir." another Drukvaid said.
Then, Nagito entered in the ship. "Listen, They told me about the Doctor, I know that you need this amulet. So, please, leave us alone." he gave them the module, while clumsily pressing various buttons.
The alien opened the module, thrilled to finally have the Time Lord's essence, but...It was empty.
Nagito started laughing, asthmatically. The Doctor was back. "Ah, my bad luck. Looks like I accidentaly activated the self-destruction. I advise you to...RUN!" he rushed outside, laughing like the madman he is.
the Drukvaids followed him, but they remained injured from the explosion. The Doctor, unharmed, looked at them, with a serious glare.
"I wonder if Atua accepts non-human sacrifices."
And so, the Doctor, gave the group of Drukvaids the most cruel punishments he could think of.
Like, kicking them in a black hole, allowing the natives of Jabberwock to sacrifice them to Atua, and many things like that. The Doctor may be a good person, but he's still a madman. And it's better you don't bother madmen like him, as he demonstrated it in his past incarnations.
----------------------------------------
Thus, the Doctor, Natsumi and Hajime were ready to return to their travels. But first, the Doctor wanted to talk with Angie.
She was in "their" wooden home, the moment she saw the Time Lord, she immediately smiled.
"Oh, there you are!" she said, happily. "You're ready to go, yes?"
"I am." The Doctor said. "Since I still remember what I did with you, I wanted to ask you something." he took a breath. "Angie...Will you join us in our travels?"
Angie's eyes widened from happiness. "You mean...I can come with you?!"
"Yes, you can. It'll be amazin-Ugh!"
Angie rushed at him and hugged the Time Lord, she was constantly saying:
"Yes! Yes! Yes Yes Yes YES! I'd love to come with you!" she freed him from the hug. "After all, I am your bride, I must always be with you when you're sad."
The Doctor smiled. "Splendid! Let's go, then!"
Angie nodded, after saying goodbyes to her friends, she followed the Doctor inside the TARDIS, both Hajime and Natsumi didn't mind her at all.
And thus, the Box dematerialised and the TARDIS crew gained a new member.
