“I would get you to try out your looting ability before we go, but I've already looted the spiders” explained Alice after Kali was finished shouting at her.

“What did you get?” Kali asks curiously.

“Mostly just the normal stuff; some spirit coins (which is the currency of this world, some monster parts, and dome quintessence (a popular material for crafters and ritualists). Though I did also get an awakening stone, which is quite rare.” Alice explains.

“Where do you live by the way, you said we were going back to your house?”

“Yes, It's about a 30 minute jog for me, but that would be about a day's walk for you. I would get you to try those wings out, but that dress doesn't really let you. So instead, we'll do this.” Alice explains as she picks Kali up in a princess carry and starts jogging at ridiculous speeds.

30 minutes later, they arrived at another large field surrounded by trees, in the centre of the field was a large mansion.

“Wow, your house is beautiful” exclaimed Kali upon seeing this.

“Of course, we had to make sure that it was the best. Though it is a bit too big for just the three of us,” said Alice calmly, “let's go in now shall we.”

As they approached the front door of the mansion another beautiful woman opened the door. The woman was a pale elf with bright white hair and silver eyes that seemed as if they were glowing. The woman was just as unnaturally beautiful as Alice.

“Welcome back dear. Oh, who's this?” The elf exclaimed kindly.

“Hello dear, this is my new student, Kali, she's an outworlder. Kali, this is my wife Luella Tisah.”

“How are you two so beautiful!” Kali almost shouted, unable to hold it back any more.

“Benefits of being a gold rank dear” Luella giggled softly.

“Gold rank?” Kali questioned.

“You're at normal rank now, when you get all of your essences you will be at Iron rank, when you get all your abilities and rank them up to bronze rank (either through training or monster cores) then you will become broken rank, after that is silver, then its gold, and finally diamond rank. Every time you rank up there is an improvement to everything about you.” Alice explained.

“What's the difference between ranking up through training or monster cores?”

“Ranking up through monster cores slowly inhibits your ability to rank up through training and it becomes more difficult to get the monster cores needed to rank up. So monster cores should only be used by non-combatants, of course, for some reason the rich believe that this doesn't apply to them and rank up using monster cores anyway.”

“Shall we go find Sarah? I assume you intend to have them be on the same team.” Asked Luella

“I do, but I was thinking we should find out what weapon she likes most first.”

After Alice says this the three of them begin to walk through the house, making small talk as they go.

Eventually the three of them arrived at a large room filled with every type of weapon imaginable. Luella and Alice convinced Kali to try them all out and see which she liked the most. She did this for just over 2 hours eventually deciding that she liked the war scythe and twin kama the best, but couldn't decide which she liked the most.

“Looks like you now have a full set of essences as well as knowledge on how to use your new weapons. But let's wait to use them until after you have met our daughter.” Exclaimed Alice as she started walking out of the room.

“You can keep the weapons by the way” said Luella as she follows her wife.

Kali put the weapons in her inventory and followed after them.

“Where will your daughter be?” Asked Kali.

“She'll likely be at the shooting range. She's an archer and she almost never stops practising with her bow. Honestly, she probably won't get any better until she gets the rest of her essence abilities and her attributes start increasing.” Luella relied

As they walked to the shooting range Kali kept asking the two of them questions about their daughter but they refused to answer any questions until she met her.

When they reached the shooting range Kali saw a young woman wearing leather armour covered in glowing symbols, the bow that she was using was also covered in similar glowing symbols, and occasionally when she fired an arrow a glowing symbol would appear at its tip. The woman had the same white hair and silver eyes as Luella but seemed to be a human like Alice. She was the most beautiful woman that Kali had ever seen, excluding Alice and Luella who were unnaturally beautiful due to their high rank. Kali was so entranced with the woman that she couldn't even speak, and the woman seemed to be in the same position as she hadn't been able to take her eyes off Kali since she turned around, in fact, she hadn't even moved.

Alice turned to her wife and whispered, “There might be hope for our daughter after all.” Before shouting at the two of them, “Are you going to introduce yourself or are you just going to stare at each other.”

“H-Hello, I'm S-Sarah, N-Nice to meet you,” The woman stutters, still staring at Kali in awe.

“N-Nice to meet you too, I'm K-Kali,” replies Kali, staring back at Sarah in the exact same way.

“Kali is an outworlder and my new student, we're hoping that she will join your team when we've finished training her up. You can get to know each other later but for now we are off to the Ritual so that Kali can absorb her essences.” Exclaimed Alice.
