“So you’re the one who control that thing huh…”
It seems the man has been following them for a while. The man admitted that he actually felt scared at first, after seeing Mao and Shou slaying the demons easily on their way, latter he decided to follow these two. While quietly following the two of them, the man stumbled upon the lump of light that can absorb magic power and tries to control it. He tries to steal Mao’s magic to level up his own, and as result we have the present event now.
By the way, this man don’t have any info about the dragon before as he also just seen it recently. And he some also lose consciousness before and when he came to he found himself in here, so probably he is from another “world” as well.
“Fufufu. So, how was my great knowledge and wisdom? Did you find it useful? You shall to liberate me of this simplistic bind.”
“As I thought, he annoys me.”
“Then shall we kill him?”
“AAA, AAAH! I’m sorry, I phrased it wrongly! What I mean is: ‘I hope it was useful and I hope you could release me!’ Please!”
The man panicked with Mao and Shou’s cold gaze towards him. He felt like the gaze itself could kill him.
“… Anyway, let’s go and leave him behind. We can’t afford to lose track of that dragon.”
“W-wait are you going to leave me behind?! I appreciate that you didn’t kill me but please at least release my hand!”
““Annoying.””
Shou and Mao face their back towards the man and walk forward, leaving the man behind helplessly.
“… khukhu stupid.”
The man stands up and rushed toward Shou.
“Like I said, you brats are too naive to not bind my legs!!!”
His mouth held a blade around 15 centimeters aimed at Shou. Surprised, he turns around but?
*splash* red fluids dripping to the ground, it flows down to a blade and drops to the ground.
Red colored just like blood. No, it is blood. Flowing down to a sharp blade, basking the blade with terrifying color. Dripping down to the ground, painting it red.
Silence attacked, nobody is moving. As if became a statue, Shou, Mao, also the man didn’t move.
“Oh crap…”

Shou opened his mouth. His hand is holding his dagger. The blade is basked with red blood.
“I killed him…”
“…”
His dagger pierced through the man’s throat.
“Oh crap… I actually only want to threaten him by pointing it to his neck but…”
“Are you for real?”
Both of them only can look at each other awkwardly then cast their glance to the man.
“Hey Mao.”
“What?”
“You know about that thing right?”
“Which one are you talking about?”
“You know, the one where people are threatening by pointing a dagger or sword at someone’s neck in close range.”
“Oh, you mean when the people who are being tied up, tries to attack the one who bind him suddenly, and then he stopped because a dagger is pointed at his throat?”
“Yeah yeah, that one.”
“Aa, I know”
“I was trying to do that but… it really isn’t as simple as it seems huh?”
“Yeah, actually I only realized it now that it isn’t a simple feat.”
“What a coincidence, me too!”
“…”
“…”
When Shou realized the man is trying to do something, he already readied his dagger on his hand. And when the man dashed forward, Shou hold his dagger and aiming on the man’s neck. Usually in films, the man would stop right before the dagger pierce his neck, but his momentum was too big and he can’t stop easily, as result the dagger that Shou hold ends up pierce through the man’s throat.
Long story short, the man died foolishly because he can’t stop.
“I guess the people who can stop are really amazing huh. To stop right before the knife pierces them in such a short notice.”
“I know right.”
Shou quickly pulled out the dagger from the man’s throat. The man fell limp to the ground, not long after, his body disintegrates into bones.
‘As I thought, a mob enemy from another world. Ugh, even so killing people really makes my stomach turns. It felt sickening.’
Unknown to Shou, the light that was contained in his sword slowly disappearing, moving into his left hand. The time for he to notice it will be some time later.
