Rias Pendragon, the last true born descendant of the pendragon bloodline through a dream after being on the brink of death is visited by a formless eir, through this being she hears past names that could be from her own past lives. Wanting to know what this means, she begins to search for the meanings of these names and what they could mean to her. She isn't alone in this venture, helping her along is her Lover Talia Leonhart among so many others, eldritch gods and goddesses, kings and queens, allies from former lives even her past selves helping her along. Something Rias thought would be simple began to spiral to a mess that will take a very long time to unwind and fully realise.  Through help from Marin Kalos, a former goddess and one of Rias's many past lives, one thing became clear. she has to collect and merge the eight separate parts of herself to remember every past life, recover her lost power to destroy something close to her heart. If only things could be that simple, Through many beings such as Marin, Artura  Pendragon and the primordial dragon Akron, its becomes known that both Rias and Talia are cursed reincarnations, beings who are forced to endlessly reincarnate until they repent. However they do not know what they need to repent for, they cannot be told why as its something they should figure out for themselves.  After collecting the first two fragments, Rias has no option but to delve down a path some would consider heretical and blasphemous though she hates the idea, she is pulled to that path. A path where she will borderline on the verge of becoming a monster or a tyrant like in her past, through collecting the eight fragments this act will help her decide if she become a monster or not.  Talia on the other hand after realising that she is a cursed reincarnation begins to change ever so quickly unlike Rias, Talia remembers almost all about one of her past lives as the first Wraith Hera. This becomes a bit of a problem for all after it is known thanks to the intervention of several factures.  Knowing they will need help, Akron devises a plan to train the two lovers before sending them on their merry way towards the elven lands hoping the queen of the silver elves, Elinore can help them rebuild what they lost. This doesn't go as expected as Elinore seemed to have been kidnapped, by someone or something as a result the two lovers begin their search, when Elinore is found the search for the eight fragments and the rebuild of the lost begins. Elinore becomes someone Rias and Talia can rely on, in their new home of Numena. Everything from that point onwards is where the spiralling begins, where the truth becomes skewed, where time become irrelevant and warped. where Rias is forced down the path to potentially become what she fears
