It was the sky. I’m under the open sky.

I quickly got up from my lying position after hearing something.

‘Death? Damn.’

After seeing the penalty for failure, I realized it was the system ‘those guys’ always get. You know, ‘those guys’.

‘Come on, why give me this? As far as I know we’re not colonized by those guys yet.’

“Sigh.”

I looked around the place only to see grassland that stretched for as far as I could see.

‘There’s nothing here, system. Just grass.’

[Walking around is recommended.]

‘Ah, right, right.’

I walked in the direction opposite to the setting sun for a long time but still saw nothing but grass. I’m starting to get impatient and it showed as I started running.

I ran for a long time but saw nothing, and when I say a long time, I meant 30 seconds.

‘Fuck. My body got worse when I got here.’

“System, what happened to my body when I was transferred here?”

After resting by walking instead of running for 30 minutes, I started rushing once again. This time, instead of seeing ‘nothing’ I literally saw nothing in front of me.

What will happen if a quest more important than that appeared, what would be the penalty? Would I be a slave like ‘those guys’ because of the fear of death? Not to mention the possibility of the system being some villain. Isn’t this too risky?

As thoughts ran wild in my head, my impulsive behavior took over.

‘Yeah, let’s die hahahahaha.’

[Suicidal thoughts detected. Shutting down the host’s body… Failed]

“HAHAHAHA! Fuck you!”

“NO WAY! HAHAHAHAHAAHA!”

I continued running as if my life depended on it.

‘Hah, ironic.’

It was the first time I felt like I’m really running so fast.

Near the end of the cliff, I jumped like I could fly but gravity brought me down.

The system that has been disturbing me was now silent as if doing something to save itself.

As I fell down, I thought to myself…

‘That was fun. This is fun, I feel so free hahahaha. Huh? It was a plateau? A plateau of a very tall mountain. First time seeing something like that.’

Now I wonder what would happen? Dying before voluntarily.
