I just finished going through the final battle and epilogue. It’s late, and I’m tired, but writing my final thoughts is not something I can postpone.
It pains me to put a period on everything, just like that. Long, Phil, Koby, Mastik, Kat… There were so many characters I enjoyed, and I have spent so many hours with them, considering how to best take them forward. The world I created feels real to me, and stepping away breaks my heart.
In a way, I am like Long Fang. He also had to leave this world, not because he didn’t love it, but because all things eventually come to an end. And though it saddens us, learning to let go opens the door to life’s most beautiful sights.

I hope you all enjoyed reading this story as much as I did writing it. I hope that you lived through it, and at some point, grew through it, as I did. And I hope that as you leave this page, the wonderful story of Long Fang becomes a beautiful memory in your heart, one that is over yet always stays close.
But adventure never ends, and beauty begets beauty. Let us all meet again in other stories, other adventures, other words in other worlds, and let our hearts grow another inch together.
Thank you for sticking with me during this journey.
See you later,
Winged Wolf
