I flew through the void my body passing through balls of flame and ice until I settled in the darkness.  There I fell into a deep slumber until I was woken by the presence of a great spirit.  As I was leaving to make room for it, it called out.

  "Wait! Stop, please stop flying away." (??)

  Seeing as the mysterious being sounded so desperate I decided to hear it out.

  "I've been following after you since you left your planet.  I knew what happened and am amazed that you didn't go insane with rage upon seeing your body desecrated to such a degree." (??)

  "I would have had I not watched mankind for many years and discovered that this was their way.  Their greed is second to none in any universe." (MC)

  "Knowing what you know now, what would you do if you were born into a world that allowed you to become powerful, what would you do with your power?" (??)

  I began to cotemplate my reply.  Knowing that it is in their nature to be full of greed I did not blame them but knew that they had to have limit placed upon them.  I answered thusly.  "I would seek power to maintain the balance between nature and them.  As I can not be everywhere I would become a guardian to one of the world's sacred places." (MC)

  "Then I have a proposition for you.  Would you like to be reborn into a higher realm in a world that is largely untouched by man?  You would have to work for your power but you would be able to escalate in power quickly and efficiently.  You would be one of many such creatures, Sovereigns of a territory that few would dare enroach upon but man.  Even then their homes would be restricted to their own territory.  So what do you say?" (??)

  "If you can make me a noble bird of fire, ice, and storm, then we have a deal." (MC)

 "Very well you will have the potential to become such a being.  Know this that my name is Silvanus and that I am the god of wild nature.  Also know that you will become one of hundreds in your position.  Some of you will rule the skies, some the seas, and others above and below the earth.  Many of your territories will heavily overlap due to being unable to govern every creature within your territorry." (Silvanus)

 Then being briefly surrounded by a bright light I was once again in the darkness.
