On a rainy day which was common in the Southern Thunder Kingdom, something mysterious happened in a forest near the Fan clan who owned that area in the Souther Thunder Kingdom at the time.

In the forest space twisted mysteriously, thunder roared out and rain came down at a huge speed never seen before. The nature of earth and heaven was thrown into chaos, and nobody saw this happen at first and even if they did, they probably would not have known what caused this.

This process continued for 2 days straight and youngsters from the Fan clan were finally noticing and paying attention to this. They were actually wondering what was happening... since they couldn't actually get close without a profound cultivation base, and youngsters were usually very curious about many things. They wondered... was it a treasure? Heaven's punishment? Nobody actually knew what it was, so they decided to inform the clan about this.

The third day, the youngsters came with the older Fan cultivators who were in the middle Energy Condensation realm, but even they didn't dare to even get close to it. This surprised the youngsters even more, since they expected that their Senior Brothers and Sisters could investigate it, but this seemed to be even more mysterious.

In the end, they couldn't get anything out of it, so they informed the clan once again about it, and it was slowly getting attention from the geniuses and Elders from the clan. Even the patriarch was slightly interested after hearing some stories from the clan. So the patriarch asked one of his sons to go and investigate it, and so he did , but unexpectedly after he arrived he saw that ... after 3 full days... the mysterious changes finally came to a stop. This confused the son of the patriarch a bit, but he didn't pay it any attention and went at full speed.

Divine light shone down at a place in the forest, the son of the patriarch went to investigate it immediately, and he couldn't believe what he actually found... Unexpectedly he actually found a baby sleeping soundly with a necklace on... He immediately grew suspicious of the baby, and wondered who it was or why the baby was here, but he couldn't actually find any clues and decided to approach it.

The patriarch's son looked at the baby weirdly and noticed something... immediately after he took the baby and said that he was adopting the kid today, which surprised the other clan members greatly. They immediately tried to talk some sense into him, but he was resolute about his decision... in the end they just let it be. Nobody knew what the patriarch's son saw, but they all knew that something was wrong with this baby.

14 years later.

The baby who was once found in the forest, was now 14 years old. Of course the clan members didn't actually precisely know his age so they decided to make his birthday, the day he was found. The all grown up baby was named Fan Bao by the patriarch's son, even now nobody still knew why he adopted Fan Bao... but nobody could disrespect Fan Bao since he was the son of the patriarch and had a brother who was a genius.

Fan Bao had an innocent air around him which complimented his innocent face and perfect shiny white skin. Nobody knew why he had such physical attributes, but most were very jealous. Even the female clan members were jealous. It could be said that he would actually become very handsome if given some years...

The clan honestly actually despised Fan Bao greatly, since he was an outsider and a well known troublemaker... In the end his father received all the blame, but he weirdly accepted it without any restraint.

Everyone also knew that the patriarch's son had a purpose at least for adopting Fan Bao.

"Bao'er... your father has raised you only for one purpose... and you must not disappoint me, okay?" The patriarch's son named Fan Heng said these words the Fan Bao everyday, ever since Fan Bao had been adopted... he heard the same words every single day... and he actually slightly grew tired of it.

He already knew that this man wasn't his father... and that the necklace was the only clue to his real parents... Not even once did Fan Bao ever think of Fan Heng as his father since Fan Heng actually never showed any real love to him. He had known all along that he had only raised him for a purpose...

Fan Bao actually had no friends at all in the clan, and wasn't even allowed to cultivate which he yearned for greatly... He hated this place, and even tried to escape several times... but it always ended in failure. He was like a prisoner... who wasn't allowed to see the outside world nor was he allowed to cultivate... but he persevered and swore that one day he would leave this place...

One day, his father actually said something different, "...Why...did..?" which surprised Fan Bao greatly for once. The man who never said anything else than the same words everyday to him... had actually said something different for once, but he didn't seem to be happy...
