Welcome to Royal Academy

Welcome to Royal Academy

The scene opens up where everyone is in the grand hall waiting for instructions. Everyone was looking around and talking to each other and then the headmaster came onto the stage and he gave his speech.

Headmaster: "Esteemed students, welcome to the hallowed halls of Royal Academy.

As headmaster, it is my honor to address the brightest minds and noblest hearts gathered here today. You, the future leaders of our nations, have been entrusted with a great responsibility to uphold the legacies of your kingdoms and to guide them towards a prosperous future.

But remember, dear students, that the path to leadership is not an easy one. It is fraught with challenges, trials, and sacrifices. Here at Royal Academy, we do not merely mold minds, we shape character, instill discipline, and cultivate virtues that are befitting of royalty.

You are not here solely by virtue of your birthright. You are here because you have been chosen to carry the torch of leadership, to embody the ideals of honor, integrity, and service. As you embark on this journey, I implore you to remember the values that have guided your ancestors for generations: wisdom, courage, and compassion.

In the days and weeks to come, you will face tests of intellect, tests of character, and tests of resolve. But fear not, for you are not alone. Your fellow students, your mentors, and your heritage will stand beside you, offering guidance and support in times of need.

Together, we will strive for excellence, for greatness, and for the betterment of our Kingdoms. Together, we will forge bonds that transcend borders and build bridges that span continents. And together, we will write a new chapter in the annals of history, a chapter filled with hope, promise, and the enduring spirit of royalty.

So let us begin this journey with open hearts and open minds, knowing that the road ahead may be long and arduous, but that the rewards are worth every sacrifice. May you rise to meet the challenges that await you, and may you emerge from this crucible of learning as true leaders, worthy of the crowns you aspire to wear.

Welcome, my dear students, to Royal Academy. Let the pursuit of knowledge, honor, and destiny commence."

Everyone starts to clap. Also, the speech was empowering. Another school faculty member came onto the stage.

Lucinda (Teacher): Hello students, I am Lucinda i am your homeroom teacher. I teach the 2nd born class. I hope we can all get along and if you need anything and have any questions it doesn't matter if you're first born or 2nd please come to me or any of your educators. Now putting that aside I want to make a couple of things clear. If you're here for your own personal gain like basking in the glory of your royal lineage or to satisfy your ego then you are sorely mistaken.

At that moment her words echoed throughout the grand hall and before I knew it everybody's eyes were on her. Her words commanded the attention of every student.

Many of us were shocked but mostly intimidated. We couldn't help but listen and not take our eyes off her.

Lucinda (Teacher): leadership is not a privilege it is a duty. It requires sacrifice, determination and an unwavering commitment to the wellbeing of your people. If you're not willing to put in the hard work if you're not prepared to face the challenges head on then I suggest you leave now.

Everyone started to whisper and talk.

Voice 1: what do you mean of course we are ready

Voice 2: yeah we know this isn’t a game

Voice 3: everyone shush it looks like she is going to say something?

Teacher Lucinda: But those of you who are ready to rise to the occasion, who understand the weight of your responsibilities and are willing to fight for the future of your kingdoms know this. Royal Academy will push you to your limits. It will test your intellect, your character and our resolve like never before. But if you persevere, if you embrace the lessons taught within these walls, you will emerge not just as rulers, but as leaders worthy of your crowns.

With her steely gaze living, everyone stunned the look on everyone's faces. They were pumped and they were ready

Headmaster: Alright everyone let us begin.

After that announcement the first born’s and the second born’s all went to their separate classes. Kamaria takes her seat near the back, her eyes scanning the room. Lunette, soft spoken and reserved, chooses a seat by the window, pulling out a book. She looks over at her classmates but doesn’t engage, trying to remain unnoticed. Her sister’s shadow hangs heavy, though Kamaria knows well she’s smarter than most here.

Alaric slams his books onto a desk in the middle of the room, his intimidating presence instantly turning heads. He leans back, arms crossed, a sharp gaze daring anyone to speak to him. Kamaria notes the air of arrogance about him. He’s clearly not here to make friends, and it’s clear he doesn’t care about anyone’s opinion.

Hendrick sits closer to the front, not bothering to make eye contact with anyone. He fiddles with his pen, his expression closed off, but Kamaria notices the way he’s quietly observing every move around him. His silence, much like hers, is deliberately meant to hide more than it reveals.

Rosalva, sweet and gentle, offers a nervous smile to everyone as she enters. She moves with a softness that seems out of place in this cutthroat environment. She takes the seat next to Lunette, trying to offer a friendly gesture, though Lunette gives only a brief, polite nod in return before returning to her book.

Markyle, relaxed as ever, strolls in last. He greets everyone with a casual wave and takes the desk at the very back, his eyes already glued to his tablet. He looks like he’s not paying attention, but Kamaria knows better there’s always more to Markyle than meets the eye.

Finally, Rowan walks in, his gaze sharp as he sizes up the room. He takes a seat in the center, an air of confidence about him. Kamaria can tell just from his posture that he’s already thinking several steps ahead of everyone else. This is someone who thrives in leadership, and it won’t take long for him to rise to the top.

Lucinda enters the room, her presence immediately silencing any last whispers. She stands at the front, her expression stern but not unkind.

Lucinda: “Welcome, Class D. I expect greatness from all of you. You’re not here to simply be good, you're here to surpass expectations. Your siblings may carry titles, but here, you will prove yourselves worthy of more. Hard work will define you. Your legacy starts now.”You are all here for a purpose. Your titles may be ‘second born,’ but this is where you prove you are more than a spare. Your actions, decisions, and the alliances you form will be closely watched by your peers, the faculty, and, most importantly, your families. Fail here, and it will not only reflect on you it will reflect on your entire kingdom.”

Kamaria’s fingers tighten around her pen. The weight of her own secret mission pulses beneath Lucinda’s words, though outwardly, she remains calm and collected.

Lucinda: “Now, let’s move on to rules. This academy holds itself to the highest standard of conduct, and you will be no exception.

First: your relationships. If any of you think that being here is an opportunity to pursue some sort of… romantic entanglement, understand that it will be reported to your families. Relationships are not forbidden, but they are subject to scrutiny. If you choose to enter one, be prepared to face the consequences, good or bad. Any official relationship must be disclosed. We do not tolerate secrets here.” Also I understand some of your families may be at war or enemies and you may think this exempts you from this rule. But it doesn’t. Here at Royal Academy, we expect you to rise above petty squabbles and grudges. Relationships, whether personal or political, have the power to unite kingdoms or tear them apart.”

She stops in front of Kamaria, who stiffens under her teacher’s gaze.

Lucinda (Teacher):

“I’ve seen it happen before two heirs falling for one another, their houses in bitter conflict. But what began as an innocent connection soon became a political disaster, leading to betrayal, war, and even death.”

The room is silent now, the gravity of her words weighing on everyone.

Lucinda (Teacher):

“So remember that any relationship you form here, whether friendship or romance, is not just your business. It will have consequences, and those consequences will ripple across kingdoms. Choose wisely.”

Kamaria exhales slowly, her mind flickering to her own family’s complex past, while Rosalva shifts uncomfortably beside her, already worrying about how this could affect her position at the Academy.

Lucinda (Teacher):

“Now, let’s make this clear,” she continues, her voice softer now, but no less stern. “You are not just here for yourselves. Your families have sent you here with hopes and expectations. But each of you must decide if you’ll live under that shadow or if you’ll carve your own path. Just remember, every choice has a consequence.” Now the first lesson is about leadership and history. First history it’s important how can you expect to run your kingdom without knowing its history first? Your homework assignment is to know your family's history. Once you learn it, write a paper on it and we will share it with the class. Next let's talk about the Thirteen Crowns of Valtoria. Does anyone here know the history?

She looked around the room looking at everyone to see if they knew it and most of the kids had a confused look on their faces.

Lucinda (Teacher): ok how about the fall of Valtoria?

A 2nd born student raised their hand and Lucinda called her to answer it.

2nd born: um excuse me teacher but i think you're wrong it's called the twelve crowns of valtoria not thirteen right?

Lucinda smirked and she laughed a bit knowing what she said explains a theory she had and then she started to walk closer to the door and closed it and she went back up in front of the class.

Lucinda ( Teacher): Students please hear me when what i say whatever we talk about doesn’t leave this room. This is my classroom and I will decide what should and should not be taught. You can't teach history without teaching all of it. Especially when you know nothing of the truth but lies instead. This is a life lesson not everything you hear is true even sometimes seeing it can be deceiving. Especially when the ones in a higher position, the ones with more power want to conceal things from you. So forget what you heard because they are all lies and I will tell you the truth. As future leaders one day it’s only natural. Long ago there were still 20 kingdoms and out of the 20 there was one kingdom it was called valtoria. Valtoria was a powerful kingdom and it was known for their art and music but most of all their history and knowledge. They say knowledge is power in this case it is. Well after that their kingdom had been wiped out. They say valtoria over taxed there people and stole money from the poor and sold it’s people into slavery and harvest their organs and sold them on the black market.

Everyone was shocked and started whispering to everyone except Kamaria considering she is the last heir of the kingdom valtoria she started to scan the room watching everyone. Before Lucinda could continue her story, a loud knock echoed from the classroom door, cutting through the tense silence. Everyone's attention shifted immediately as the door creaked open, revealing a tall figure dressed in formal academy robes.

Faculty Member: "Lucinda, Headmaster requests your presence immediately."

Lucinda's sharp gaze shifted to the doorway, her smirk gone as she sighed slightly in annoyance. She knew exactly what this was about. The students exchanged confused glances, but Lucinda maintained her composure.

She turned back to her class, her voice lowering as if to leave them with one last thought.

Lucinda (Teacher): "Of course. But don't think this discussion is over. Class dismissed."

As the students began to gather their things, Lucinda's voice lowered, drawing their attention one last time.

Lucinda (Teacher): "Remember, not everything is as it seems. The truth has a way of hiding in plain sight, buried under lies, waiting for someone brave enough to uncover it. Keep your eyes open, students. You may be learning more than you think."

Her gaze lingered on the class, particularly Kamaria, Lunette, Rowan, and the others, her words hanging in the air like a secret waiting to be discovered. With that, Lucinda turned and exited the room, leaving the students in a state of restless curiosity.

Kamaria, standing at her desk, exchanged a glance with Rowan, a mix of confusion and intrigue playing across her face. The room buzzed with murmurs, everyone trying to make sense of what they'd just heard.

Hendrick leaned over to Markyle, whispering under his breath.

Hendrick: "Did she really just say what I think she did? The Thirteenth Crown...?"

Markyle nodded, his expression equally puzzled.

Markyle: "If it's true, then there's a lot more going on here than we know. We need to figure this out."

The class slowly emptied, but the tension lingered, as though Lucinda's cryptic words had unlocked something bigger than any of them could have anticipated.

Lucinda’s words hung heavily in the air as the students filed out, but one figure remained seated, Alaric. His eyes, sharp and calculating, followed Lucinda as she left. He leaned back in his chair, processing the teacher’s cryptic message.

Kamaria and Rowan passed him on their way out, but Kamaria hesitated, glancing at him.

Kamaria: "You heard her, right? About the Thirteenth Crown?"

Alaric didn’t respond immediately, his gaze still fixed on the door Lucinda had walked through. Finally, he stood up, gathering his things, but not before looking at Kamaria.

Alaric: "I heard. But she didn’t say it for no reason."

He slung his bag over his shoulder, eyes glinting with something Kamaria couldn’t quite place a mix of intrigue and suspicion. Alaric had a reputation for knowing more than he let on, and this was no different.

Alaric: "The Thirteenth Crown is real, and if what she said is true, we’re not just here for lessons. We’re here to uncover something."

Rowan, who had been lingering nearby, raised an eyebrow.

Rowan: "Uncover what, exactly?"

Alaric shrugged but smirked, his confidence returning in full force.

Alaric: "The truth. And it’s going to be dangerous, but that’s what makes it fun, doesn’t it?" since lucinda didn’t say it because she had to leave i will. Why is it called the thirteen crowns if twelve came together?

As he walked past Kamaria and Rowan, Alaric's words left them both standing in the corridor, a mixture of excitement and unease bubbling in their chests also shocked and more curious than ever.

Kamaria: "Do you think he's serious?"

Rowan was unsure.

Rowan: " But With Alaric? Maybe but what did he mean when twelve came together?."

As they watched Alaric disappear down the hallway, another voice cut through the silence. Rosalva, who had been quietly observing from the back of the classroom, stepped forward. Her expression was unreadable, her sharp eyes flickering between Kamaria and Rowan.

Rosalva: "He’s not wrong, you know."

Kamaria turned to her, eyebrows raised in surprise. Rosalva rarely spoke unless she had something important to say.

Kamaria: "About the Thirteenth Crown? And twelve kingdoms coming together?"

Rosalva nodded, her voice low and measured.

Rosalva: "There are stories... rumors whispered through the corridors of royal courts. A hidden kingdom, erased from history. If Lucinda is hinting at the Thirteenth Crown, there's more to this academy than just lessons in leadership." and about what Alaric said I am not sure?

Rowan crossed his arms, his skepticism barely concealed.

Rowan: "So, what? We’re suddenly playing detective now?"

Rosalva glanced at Rowan, her gaze cool and unflinching.

Rosalva: "If you’re not curious, Rowan, then you haven’t been paying attention."

She turned to Kamaria, a knowing look in her eyes.

Rosalva: "This is bigger than any of us. If the Thirteenth Crown really existed, then it means someone's family was betrayed. Maybe someone in this room."

Kamaria frowned, the weight of Rosalva’s words sinking in. The thought sent chills through her. Betrayal, forgotten kingdoms, and secret histories this was far more dangerous than any of them had anticipated.

Kamaria: "You think Lucinda's going to lead us into something we can’t handle?"

Rosalva tilted her head slightly, considering.

Rosalva: "I think Lucinda’s trying to teach us that there’s more to being a ruler than following the rules. Sometimes, you have to question everything, even history."

Kamaria, Rowan, and Rosalva exchanged glances, the air around them thick with unspoken tension. This was no ordinary school day.

As they walked down the hall together, Kamaria glanced over at Rosalva.

Kamaria: "You always keep quiet, but when you speak... it’s like you already know something we don’t."

Rosalva smiled faintly, but said nothing more. The truth was still out there, waiting to be uncovered.

As the three of them walked down the hallway, the tension from the earlier conversation still hung in the air. Kamaria, feeling the weight of Rosalva’s words, decided to break the silence.

Kamaria: "You know, we’ve all been thrown into this crazy situation, but I don’t even know much about any of you, besides the basics."

She glanced at Rowan first. "You’re the prince of Evermore, right?"

Rowan raised an eyebrow, looking slightly amused.

Rowan: "That’s right. Evermore the Kingdom of Green Shores and abundant harvests, as the poets like to say."

He gave a sarcastic grin. "Basically, my people grow a lot of crops, and I’m supposed to make sure they keep doing that."

Kamaria smiled faintly.

Kamaria: "And you don’t sound thrilled about it."

Rowan: "It’s fine, I guess. Being a second born, I’m not expected to actually rule, which is both a blessing and a curse." He shrugged. "But enough about me. What about you, Kamaria? Your family runs one of the wealthiest kingdoms, right?"

Kamaria hesitated for a moment, the weight of her family’s mysterious history suddenly feeling much heavier after Lucinda’s cryptic words.

Kamaria: "Yeah, something like that." She glanced away, not wanting to dive into her kingdom’s secrets just yet.

"But what about Rosalva?"

Rosalva, who had been walking a step behind them, looked up as both Kamaria and Rowan turned their attention toward her.

Rosalva: "My family rules the Kingdom of Vathis. We’re known for our mountains and… other things." Her voice was calm, almost distant, as if she were choosing her words carefully.

Rowan: "Other things?" He pressed, intrigued by her mystery.

Rosalva met his gaze but didn’t elaborate.

Rosalva: "That’s all you need to know for now." She gave a slight smile, one that hinted at secrets she wasn’t yet ready to share.

Kamaria glanced between Rowan and Rosalva, noticing the silent tension. She decided to lighten the mood.

Kamaria: "Well, since we’re all sharing, I guess I should say more than just 'wealthy kingdom.' My family controls Eldoria, and we’re known for trade and innovation. A lot of the academy’s tech comes from us."

Rowan nodded, impressed.

Rowan: "No wonder you seem so sharp. Eldoria’s inventions are legendary."

Kamaria smiled, but her mind was still occupied by what Rosalva had said earlier about the Thirteenth Crown and what Alaric said. There was more to this school and her classmates than met the eye.

Kamaria: "Looks like we’ve all got stories. But I guess we’ll learn more as time goes on."

Rosalva gave a small nod of agreement, while Rowan looked ahead thoughtfully.

Rowan: "Yeah, and something tells me that Lucinda’s not done shaking things up. This academy has more secrets than any of us expected."

The three continued walking, and suddenly Kamaria stopped and so did everyone else.

Kamaria: It was nice meeting you Rowan and Rosalva. Unfortunately I think I might turn in early. Our dorms are this way I can get there on my own.

Rowan: alright then if you change your mind later on we are headed to the cafeteria so please don't hesitate to join us

Kamaria: alright then

So the 3 of them went their separate ways as soon as kamaria got into her room she closed the door and she looked at herself in the mirror.

Kamaria: They don’t know who I am yet. But they will. They don’t know it yet, but they’re all pieces on the board. And I’m about to make my first move.
