Roaring sounds filled the air, loud crashes and voices. The atmosphere felt pleasant and with that Chen Yi gave a small gesture indicating he desired just 5 more minutes of sleep.
"Get up you vagrant" said a young man as he prodded the sleeping Chen Yi.
"Who dares" screamed Chen Yi, His face contorting with anger
"If you don't get up, we'll drag you to the jail" again said the young man
Chen Yi opened his eyes just wide enough to see the flash of metal. Another Daoist prank he decided. His junior brothers were always playing pranks on Chen Yi; he was so powerful his junior brothers could only retaliate through harmless pranks. The only person who could punish the mighty Chen Yi was his timely old master, who had reached immortality. Chen Yi pondered for a second, small gears grinding away in his head.
"Shit!" Chen Yi said quietly
"Master? are you playing a prank on me because I didn't teach the juniors properly" Chen Yi said quizzically
"What the fuck are you talking about?" The young man was getting tired of this vagrant
The young man thought the vagrant looked a bit weird, a foreigner perhaps. Anyway this farce was going to end this second, the young man would have no more of this vagrant.
"Get up or you'll get stabbed" the young man said with renewed gusto
Chen Yi realising this was not his master, or anyway from the sect, leapt to his feet . Chen Yi was exceedingly nimble, mainly due to his fleeting feet movement art. Chen Yi appraised the young man in front of him. Chen Yi could sense no Ki, the young man obviously hadn't learn martial arts.
Chen Yi laughed at the young man before him and waived him away, deciding that this man posed so small of a threat that he wasn't worth Chen Yi's extremely valuable time.
"That's it, you bastard" The young man rushed towards Chen Yi and aimed his spear with a calculated grace.
Chen Yi screamed "Courting death" and took the Thousand Tiger Thunder Palm stance. With a deep rumble, Chen Yi summoned all of the power within his body. Chen Yi was going to show this young bastard how mighty he was. Chen Yi knew his martial arts were unparalleled in the three continents amongst disciples and with his patience gone, he would show this young man just how dangerous he was.
The young man moved with grace, while he was a lowly patrolman, the Kingdom of Lu was the finest among its neighbours and boasted power warriors at every level. The young man was confident he could deal with a lowly vagrant.

Chen Yi however, would not stop screaming. As power welled up within his Heavenly Divine Dragon physique, Chen Yi could tell this would be over in half a second. None could withstand the second move of the Thousand Tiger Thunder Palm. Chen Yi with an unnatural grace raised one foot and bent his arms, with his body now resembling a crane he waited for the young man to close the gap.
The young spearman now within 5 feet of the mysterious vagrant, brought his hand to his nose and let his face find the natural reaction one would have from being within a few feet of the vagrant.
"What the fuck, you smell like kobold shit" the young man let out. It was all he could do to maintain a standing position, for the vagrants smell was not only horrendous, it was offensive to the laws of nature itself.
Chen Yi stopped screaming for a second sniffed himself.
"Shit, I fell asleep after consuming the Phoenix Pill" Chen Yi muttered, remembering that he had just consumed a pill that would help a cultivator reach immortality at the cost of releasing a foul odour for an indefinite period of time.
"No matter, scum. Not only have you dared to even look within my direction, now you even dare to make faces within my vicinity" Chen Yi said with absolute disgust. How could a mere mortal even complain after being graced with Chen Yi's magnificent presence. This mortal should be blessing the day he laid eyes upon Chen Yi, he should have kowtowed upon the mere mention of Chen Yi's name.
"Scum! Kowtow and I might leave your extended cousins with their limbs intact, but not before I cripple their cultivation and destroy their dantians.
What the fuck was this weird vagrant talking about, not only had he assaulted the senses of the young man, now he wanted him to a "kowtow". What the fuck even was that, and why would he want the young man to do it.
"Fuck this, if I stand here any longer I'll pass out from the absolute stench coming off you" The young man said.
"What" Chen Yi could not hear the young man as he had brought his hands to face to fend of the stench Chen Yi was producing.
The young quickly fled while protesting that Chen Yi was not to move before a decontamination squad come and disinfect the area. A plague, a disease, an omen of disaster was what the weird vagrant was the young thought as he fled with an unnatural pace. One in which he would never be able to replicate, for he had traded an entire life's worth of speed and endurance for this single moment, this single change to escape this disgusting stench.
Chen Yi brought his arm down, then returned his leg to its natural position. He looked around only to discover this place was unfamiliar. He had been so absorbed with the disrespectful mortal earlier he had not taken the time to observe his current situation.
"Master would kill me if he realised I let my guard down" Chen Yi muttered.
"Wait!" Chen Yi said with the virility of a tiger.
Chen Yi realised this world was different to his own, somehow he had been transported to an unknown place. Chen Yi roared with the power of a thousand dragons. He knew that in this new world he was invincible, nothing could stand in his way. He wasn't sure why these lowly mortals pinched their noses as he walked by. No matter he thought, these mortals simply don't want to breath the same air as me. He praised them quietly within this mind, perhaps they were worthy of gazing upon him.
Chen Yi knew the first thing any reputable young master should do when they are finally freed from their masters clutches.
"JADE BEAUTIES" Chen Yi shouted with absolute authority.
