Prologue: A Distant Tale

Prologue: A Distant Tale

When there's light, there's always darkness.

For all that lives, death always awaits.

From the beginning of time, at the earliest age of mankind, there are forces beyond our understanding, mysteries beyond our worlds. We were never alone, but we never could truly fathom the terrifying existence that defies our senses. Creatures from our worst nightmare, terrorizing us from the shadow. From our fear, there comes legends. Then legend became myth, forgotten as mere tales of the past, about heroes and villains, mortals and gods. Little do we know, some of them might hide some truth, a message from our ancestors.

For ages, mankind fought against what we called monsters, demons and alike. We have survived many nights, surpassed our fear with the power of science. We moved onward as we built the world, and our society progressed into the modern days as we all know. However, as we forgot the root of our being, then our past shall haunt us once more.

And when that day comes, our technology means nothing…

As if the hell’s gate opened and the dead screamed, when doom unleashed upon us. The living shall once more remember the meaning of fear, the nightmare that we forgot. From the shadow they shall rise to devour the light of day, and bring an end to the age of mortals.

Until that day, we hold dear to our life, with little warmth that we had.

This is a story of humanity, against not only monsters, but evil within ourselves. Between men, there shall be a clash of chaos and order, seeking to turn the world into madness.

The wheel of fate is turning, and the time of peace would soon come to an end.

Soon, the war between light and darkness shall unveil..
