Invasion of the butcher shop

Invasion of the butcher shop

Crossing a dark street in the middle of the night, a man in a trench coat advances on his motorcycle.

His speed and dark clothing make him quite difficult to identify; however, his red hair reveals him in the shadows.

He stops his motorcycle; it looks like he has gotten where he wanted.

Getting off the vehicle in a very dark area, he is surrounded by monsters that look like anthropomorphic animals, which are eating garbage there.

They looked very dirty and sick. The man takes a deep breath, with a look of pity.

The man calmly raises two pistols; he prepares to confront the monsters.

Creatures emerge from all sides to attack him, but he dodges all the strikes; no monster managed to lay a hand on him.

Dodging calmly, he was able to think about what to do next.

And when the time comes to strike back, the man shoots all of them; his circular movements are precise when he fires.

Some of the monsters even try to escape by climbing a small one-storey building; realizing this, the man also climbs the wall and jumps on each of their heads, shooting those who still resist.

Using the monsters as a springboard, he manages to reach the top.

The last monster falls to the ground, and the man watches from above. Feeling a presence behind him, he turns around and realizes that the person he was looking for is right there.

The man on the rooftop raises his voice: "You’ve come a long way; now there’s no turning back..."

The man in the trench coat gazes deep into his target's eyes: "There really isn’t; you turned all those lives into monsters, destroyed families, ruined lives..."

He takes a deep breath and continues: "It's time to pay for all of this, Doctor Adriano."

The man in the dirty white lab coat pulls out two short swords: "Let's dance then, Heracles!" he says, before charging swiftly at Heracles.

The man is fast enough to get close to Heracles in the blink of an eye, but Heracles is on guard.

Adriano unleashes a series of slashing attacks, one after the other.

! — ! — ! — ! — !

Heracles dodges a few attacks and blocks the last two by shooting Adrian in the arms, who groans in pain: “Ugh”.

Adrian drops his swords and his arms look broken; he bends his knees, bowing.

“Thanks a lot!” Heracles, armed, points at Adrian.

With his last strength left and in great pain, Adriano says a few words: “Mr. Gutemberg left me a message for you...”

Heracles lowers his gun: “Tell me, I'm listening.”

“He'll pay you a visit soon, he told you to be prepared and not to let your guard down!” Adrian, with his steel teeth, tries to bite Heracles' face with a frightening leap.

Heracles spins around and, with the turn of his body, dodges and drives Adrian in the opposite direction, finally shooting him in the knees.

Heracles says goodbye, while Adrian groans in pain: “The police will be here soon,” he says before leaving.

...

After a tiring motorcycle ride, Heracles stops his bike in front of a fast food franchise called Burger Killer.

Hercules enters dressed exactly as he was for his fight, and is soon spotted by a boy.

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.

“That's him, Dad! That's Heracles over there!” The boy was incredulous, seeing his favorite hero.

Heracles approaches: “Hi!” He takes off the black mask covering his mouth and the dark glasses covering his eyes. He reveals his face, smiling.

The boy is very happy, but Heracles warns him not to touch him, as he has just returned from a battle and was very dirty, and ends up signing an autograph for the boy.

While Heracles was signing autographs, the boy asked him a question: “Is it true that you have twelve lives?”

“Oh yes, I got twelve lives after killing a very scary monster!”

As he says goodbye to the boy, he observes from afar his coworker, Roberta, the Burger Killer attendant, arguing with a customer.

“Sir, cardboard is not one of our burger ingredients. Keep it down!” says the girl with the short cyan hair calmly.

“And how do you explain this piece of cardboard on my hamburger?” said the man, before rolling the snack around on the counter and accidentally smearing Roberta's orange uniform with the hamburger sauce.

The girl's eyes widen.

The man, seeing what he's done, snaps back: “Sorry about that!”

But it was too late: the sweet girl with cyan hair so straight it looked like it had been licked by a cow suddenly became a frightening woman with messy red hair.

“Are you going crazy?” She grabs the man by the shirt.

“I'm sorry, I didn't mean to dirty you, I just came to complain about the snack!” said the man, terrified.

She approaches him at the counter and a gloomy mood sets in: “Eat, eat now!” she says in a scary voice, pointing at the rest of the burger.

Heracles decides to leave the spectator position and intervenes: “What happened?” he asks, separating Roberta and the man.

The man leaves terrified, and Roberta realizes that he has left the floor wet, which makes her very angry: “Damn it, where's the cleaning girl?”

“Roberta, did that guy say there was cardboard in his burger?”

Shaking herself, Roberta is back to being the sweet girl she was before: “Yes, and he wasn't the only one. Others said you could even feel the juice that the paper releases.”

“Ew! What did Naiara say about that?” asked Heracles, disgusted.

“I'm furious!” said Naiara, Burger Killer's manager, leaving her office. “Our supplier started putting cardboard inside the meats and thought no one would notice!”

Naiara, the manager of Burger Killer, wears clothes so white that they shine as brightly as the extravagant jewelry she wears around her neck and wrist; her black hair extends down to her shoulders, and her indigenous features are noticeable.

“What are we going to do? We can't let the customers eat cardboard, they might get sick!” said Hercules.

“I tried to contact the other managers at Fortaleza Food, but only Ronald answered, the others are on a personal mission,” says Naiara. “He and I have decided that we'll raid the butcher's at midnight, when it's no longer working.

“Well, I'm going to sleep then, I've just come back from a battle!” says Heracles, yawning.

“Not at all, Heleno!” says Naiara, unhappy with Heracles' attitude. “The supplier ripped us off, making me pay for a fake product! Do I still have to pay for you to sleep!?”

Heleno is Heracles' real name.

He challenges his boss: “But there's still a lot of frozen hamburger!”

“There aren't any!” she replies. “Customers have asked us to replace the snack several times!”

She points to the kitchen: “Get back to work, Chef Heleno!”

...

At midnight, Heleno, Roberta and Naiara drive to meet Ronald, the owner of Ronald's Marmitaria Popular, or MpRonald's.

There, they generate some interactions with each other.

First, Naiara greeted Ronald, who was very happy to see her again.

Ronald is very welcoming and friendly, always adopting a peace-loving attitude. His long hair and short beard made him easily recognizable; his bandana, long pants and white shirt were his style.

Then Roberta said hello to the MpRonald's attendant, Jennifer, who didn't seem to have much time to be there, but who nevertheless said hello to Roberta, without, of course, taking her eyes off her cell phone.

The young woman with green eyes and short blonde hair avoided contact with other people and didn't know how to talk unless it was in a passive-aggressive way; she was wearing a lilac cotton blouse and blue jeans that went down to her shins.

Finally, Heleno greeted MpRonald's chef, Luiz, known as the hero Yaropolk, who at first remained silent; with resistance, he said that Heleno looked very tired.

Heleno explains the situation to him, and he says that this is what it's like to work for greedy people, referring to Naiara.

Luiz was to Ronald's marmitaria what Heleno was to Naiara's snack bar, both were the heroes representing their respective workplaces.

While Heleno wore black, Luiz wore red clothes and a green military cap, and in the top right-hand corner of his shirt there was a small emblem of a fork and a knife crossing each other; he was dark and his hair was bleached a yellowish caramel.

After the conversation, they decide to break in.

“Okay, here's the idea: Ronald and I know that the manager sleeps there. So we'll go after him!” said Naiara. “The chefs will break in and check security, while the waitresses loot the meat!”

Ronald is worried about looting the meat: “Do we really need to loot the meat? They're contaminated!”

Naiara puts her hand on his shoulder and looks into his eyes: “I understand your concern, Ronald, but if we don't do this, others will!” she says.

“Uh... All right...” Ronald had no faith in Naiara's intentions, but they were already there, with a plan to execute.
