Prologue

It was a peaceful and sunny day, just like any other day of the season.

 *Clang!!*

But in a local village arena, nothing are louder than yells and cheers.

 *Clang!!*

 *Chink!!*

 *Tonk!!!*

The cheers erupts louder as a sword flew out of the one contestant's hand, hitting the ground with a tonk.

"And the winner is Sir Victo, the new undefeated champion!!!"

Cheers and claps seems endless as the victorius swordsman bow to the audience.

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

"He's amazing, isn't he?" asked an excited boy among the crowd.

"Of course. I mean, he's already taken out 16 challengers in a row. And that last one was a local champion too." answered the girl sitting next to him.

"Yeah. Oh, and looks like there's still tons more challengers left."

"Yup. I bet this is gonna take all day..." the girl yawned.

"I really wanna continue watching, but it looks like I'll have to go for now."

"Where to? I thought you're finished with your chores and everything already."

"My own training, of course!" said the boy as he got up. "I'm never gonna be as good as that guy if I don't put in extra effort."

"Ha, so you aim to beat that guy too?"

"Of course. As humans, we all got a dream. But for that dream to be achived, you need to strive for it with all your efforts, and never giving up no matter the obstacle. And my dream... is to become to world's best swordsman!!! And I'm never giving up!!! Even if the sky falls... my dreams will still pierc-"

"Yeah, yeah, just go already you damn philosopher!!! People's looking at us now dammit!!!"

The boy chuckles as he walks away, passing the gaze of people he bothered with his speech.

"Jeez... what a tremendous optimist he is..."

The girl muttered as she watch him walk away, with the right of his arm sleeve swaying with the passing breeze.
