The bell in a quaint Little cafe dinged as a pair of sharp red heels stepped on the "welcome" carpet and entered.
The red heels clicked and clacked on the polished wooden floor as it sauntered towards the end of the cafe where a tanned hand was waving at her all too eagerly.
The sound of chair scraping echoed throughout the empty cafe as the girl who entered the cafe sat herself with her purse on her lap and gazed warmly at the waiting girl with chestnut hair glowing from the sunlight emerging from the huge french windows arrayed all over the cafe.
"Hey. Long time no see. I couldn't wait and ordered chocolate pastry for the both of us, who doesn't like chocolate am I right" the chestnut haired girl said and chuckled "but feel free to order your coffee, I didn't order one since everyone has different taste when it comes to their coffee" she added.
"How kind" came the reply in a soft and smooth voice from the girl adorning the red heels which were now concealed beneath the table, however the red heels did not look so red anymore, being obscured by the shadow of the table it appeared so dark that it almost looked black. The kind of black that lingers between allies where only the night prowlers emerges from, the kind that lives beneath a child's bed where the parents soothes that no monsters live within or the kind that dwells within a person's heart hidden so, so very deep.
She gently tapped on the bell, subsequently a waiter strode towards her with a professional looking smile.
"Black coffee with ice on a separate container" she ordered.
The waiter looked stunned but quickly proceeded away without further inquiries.
However the one who could not move on was her companion.
"That's one weird preference" she queried.
"I like the way it 'plops' and splashes" she responded with eyes crinkled and mouth stretched.
As the sun began to set and people retired for their home they would glimpse at the cafe and catch the two young ladies, one speaking with a glimmer of excitement in her eyes and the other one just listening quietly with a gentle smile, subsequently they would inevitably notice the pair of red heels adorning the girl, it was the kind of red that you couldn't help but be conscious of, the kind of red that could pierce your heart and reach deep inside your soul.
The pair of friends looked content within their company but their thoughts could not be more contrasting, while one moved about her hands to depict the imagines of her travel and the authenticity of her tan the other one contemplated wether shoving her untouched chocolate pastry down her throat be enough to put an end to her companions blabbering.
Slight light particles reflected off of the tiny water droplets that still clung desperately at the surface of the transparent coffee mug which held only one remaining ice as it finally started to melt from the setting sun piercing through. The girl swayed her shiny red heels clutching onto her little purse and stared intently at the water droplets slowly sliding down the glass merging with the teensy puddle at the bottom forming from the ice melting bit by bit as it finally let go of it's former mould and relinquished itself to a dull lifeless water lights nowhere to be seen as the world engulfed itself into darkness.

"I have to go, it's getting late" the girl said abruptly, clasped her purse while she slid her red heels out from it's concealment as she stood on it's former glory.
"Oh my gosh, it's gotten so dark. I didn't notice with all my blabbering" she got up and grabbed her coat, "let's go together, we'll part at the end of the bridge".
"Sure"
The bell dinged for the very last time as the two girls stepped out from the warm wood to the cold concrete leaving behind a chocolate pastry evenly sliced into tiny little pieces.
Contraire to it's former hustle and bustle the streets were now eerily still and quiet. It's residence safely tucked themselves in their warm dwellings with their loved ones away from the cold autumn night where only the foolish and the evil would remain.
Only the breathing and rustling of clothes resounded throughout the night with the occasional rush of cold wind.
One girl stopped in the middle of the bridge as she spotted the warm light glowing beside the bus stop. She stepped near her companion and enveloped in a warm hug for the very last time.
The girl hugged her back and opened her mouth to bid goodbye when abruptly her breath cought inside her throat.
Her lungs shrunk as she clutched for her dear life.
Her perpetrators red heels gleamed viciously under the moon, the only witness of the atrocious crime as it brazenly stared on.
The glaring red heels prowled forward like a hungry little beast
Step by step moving their bodies towards the rail overlooking the still and gloomy lake, it's owner leaned near her foolish companions ear.
"I hate chocolate" she serenely whispered.
"I detest it" she added in a low menacing voice.
Stabbing deeper into her flesh piercing through her heart then swiftly pulled out her weapon when they've at last reached the rail.
Their bodies perched dangerously low just a single tap would be the end.
And that's exactly what she did and stared on as the lifeless body descended.
Chestnut hair glowing with utmost vigour.
And plop.
The perished body splashed in engulfing itself into the gloomy water as it started to sink.
Deeper
And deeper
Into it's infinite darkness.
A warm smile graced the evil girl's face. She propped the bloodied table knife inside her little purse and strolled towards her last destination.
The red heels clicked and clacked on the cold concrete, the striking red nauseatingly resembling closest to a blood than any color could as if it sucked the blood out of all the victims of it's possessor.
Step by step it slowly submerged into darkness leaving behind with just a hint of crimson.
