3rd Person-Pov.
Blood, it covered everything, from the grass to the sparse trees that stood like war scarred sentinels, if one happened upon the field it would seem as if everything that had been once living in the plains were drained of blood and poured out upon the ground, which is in a way the very truth as that very essence of life spilled over the plains as far as the eye could see.
The fields that once were full of vivid spring colors and active wildlife. Now holds nearly no similarities with what it once was. Where once there was beautiful rolling plains with patches of wildflowers and herbs, there was now craters filled with blood and gore, trees ripped from the ground and crushed into splinters. The small river that ran through the fields ran thick with blood.
Above it all was a large hill, almost a mountain in all truth, which overlooked the gruesome plains. Upon said hill, there was a being upon the top of the hill which was perhaps the most fearsome sight of all.
This being was drenched in the blood of countless others. Upon a closer inspection of the being, and the hill it stood upon, reveals that it did not stand upon solid ground, but on the mangled, and crushed remains of countless demons and monsters alike. Whether they be the most fearsome creatures from legends, or the strongest demons from deep within the abyss. All were beneath it.
If that sight alone was not enough reason to fear the terrifying being, perhaps the horrifying armor it wore would deter even the most suicidal of beings seeking death, such was the eternal torment its armor and weapons promised. The armor was similar to an holy paladins armor, but much unlike the holy glow that the paladins armor had, this armor sucked in the light around it making the area near the being seem as if all color was taken from the world, and with frost seeming to appear around the armor and with crimson wings folded behind it's back so covered in blood that they looked like they were made of blood.

Chris-Pov.
After a few moments of silence he sighed while gazing upon the bloody vista from his perch on the hill. He was going to miss terrorizing the simple AI's running the NPCs. The only thing that could have made it even better is if the game allowed certain 'adult content'. But it was simply not to be.
He couldn't hold in the great sigh that left his mouth. He swiped at the air few times and a crimson screen appeared with a clock that was counting down with but bare moments till it reached zero.

"Finally nearing the end. I really wish I could've really lived in such an incredible world as this, it has all I could ever want. Dragons, knights, magic, demons, and of course the beautiful elves and the many types beast girls." He said, a lecherous grin playing across his lips at the thought. He wished that he could've spent the last moments with his guild mates, but alas, they had long moved on to newer and better MMORPG'S or even the sequel of the current game he is in. Leaving him to mourn the end of the game by his lonesome.
As the end times for this digital world crept ever closer, he suddenly felt a shudder run through his body and seemingly the entire game world as well, shaking it and him with it, to it's core. And suddenly a pain unlike any other he has ever felt, ripped through his mind as the clock hit zero before the servers forever go dark on this wondrous world.

Then nothing.
Nothing but darkness.
An everlasting darkness was all that he could see or feel,he had no idea how he could feel the inky darkness but all the same it was there, it was as chaotic as the raging sea during the worst squall in history, yet as calm as a peaceful pond in the spring in the middle of a meadow with flowers gently swaying with the wind. It was as if the world was in perpetual war with it self. One never taking precedence over the other, always a shifting balance between them. It was so calming to be swallowed by such an endless harmony, he continued to relax and his mind filled with nothingness for what seemed like eons, or perhaps just a few minutes, as time held no sway over this harmonious place.
But then as in true fashion, existence cannot forever remain in eternal state of sameness, as if proof of such an universal law, a simple drop of crimson fell from on high, yet rose from the very depths of existence, it seemed to fall up, yet seemed to be falling down, or perhaps to the side. Never seeming to touch anything as it seemed to fall for millennia, yet perhaps less than a second, it fell into the inky black chaotic harmonious void. Truly a curious thing, he couldn't tell what it was but it seemed a bit familiar.
As it fell deeper, it caused a crimson ripple to slowly spread out and slowly, yet somehow reaching him much faster than should be possible. As it reached him he couldn't help but remember how the feeling being bathed in the dark NPCs blood just before the world ended. He missed the feeling of it dripping down his armor, staining his blades and making his wings shimmer and rain down drops of blood as he flew. In the first time in so long of peace and tranquility, he felt the hunger for blood. It was the crimson drop that was causing him to remember, and to reawaken this part of his soul. After all, one who baths in the blood of the evil cannot feel content when there was those that needed slaughtering. After all, evil was a never ending thing.
And as if the crimson ripples felt his unspoken desire to once more reap the souls of the evil and the hunger to sate his thirst for their blood , they collected around him, glowing brighter by the second. Sticking to him and dripping off his shapeless form. As it all finally gathered to him, it let loose a pulse of deep crimson light, temporarily blinding him. As the light cleared he and the crimson drop of light were gone from the realm of eternal war.
