Scarlet's POV
I love this pack I admit it, but ideals need to change. The people here need help and I think I can do that for them, it'll make me extremely happy if they just go along with it. Problem is I've been in this damn library for the past week and I haven't found the shit I need. A book covered in a grey pelt and claw mark over it, that's what he described right? I'm not dumb by any means but what the hell type of book is covered by real fur of a wolf...tapping my foot as I scan shelf by shelf reading and reading, I'm growing tired of this.
"Need some help with something?" The words dragging on with exaggeration as I turn my head towards Minerva
"No, thanks for your input but there aren't any dicks here to ride. Wasn't even aware you could read anything other than someone else's drug prescriptions."
"Oh my aren't you mighty feisty today" She leans in closer and looks into my eyes, in reaction I cover my nose
"That's close enough, I can smell all of the swallowed infants from here just fine" I back off and continue my search for the book.
"BITCH REMEMBER WHO'S ABOVE YOU!"
"The gods, yeah I'm aware" Covering my ears with her increase in volume but still feeling her beading eyes drilling holes into the back of my head
"Scarlet I'll kill you if you continue making these comments on your queen!"
"Weren't you born without a gift, you're Quite worthless aren't you? Even with the physical abilities of a Luna, you'd probably get folded into nothing by me. Do yourself a favour and bother someone else."
"Respect. Me."
"Make. Me." Both our eyes locking onto each other, our movements halting like wild animals sizing each other up.
"Can you two be quiet please, It's hard enough with fighting rogues but now we're fighting between each other in the same pack?! Give me some fucking room to breathe." Chris bursts through the bookshelf, clearly already enraged by something earlier.
"Sorryyy Chris...Minerva was just leaving" I state knowing those two already aren't on the best terms
"You know what? I will see myself out, I can find what I need at a later date." She flicks her long black hair behind her while walking out through the double doors, unfortunately not hitting her on the way out much to my dismay.

"Why are you here Chris?"
"I felt like it."
"Someone's moody this time huh"
"Scarlet, you're nearly as bad as her. Please give me some room to breathe..." He walks away but not before placing his hand along a bookshelf in the back and giving way to a new section entirely. In curiosity I jump up and follow him, "What's in there?" I ask
"Alpha archives, you aren't allowed and quite literally can't enter without the bloodline's blessing of an alpha or beta. Stay out there" He firmly states while placing his hand back on the book and closing it off.
'Alpha or Beta...looks like I have options to work with then' I turn back to the bookshelves, now knowing that the relevant stuff is most likely behind there I have no need being here and wasting my time. Thanks Chris.

Percy's POV
Finally leaving the Rainmakers' pack house...which is soon to be my pack house I guess, we're at the doors ready venture back out into this torrential rain. "Athena is there something you don't know how to cook?" Thomas asks, referring to her godly cooking skills "Nope, it's all stored away like just another memory to me. I can do it once and never forget it without overworking myself." She responds with a calm tone as if it's a frequent question that she gets asked.
"Percy and Thomas stay next to me, if we get slightly separated here then me and Athena can communicate. You three can't, so Yasmine stay with her"
"I didn't even think about that before hand, this is not going to be fun." The colour in Yasmine's face draining as if she's remembering something painful
"Just keep heading straight, the pack house wasn't built at the direct centre of the cursed zone so we're closer to the edge than you think" - Athena
I hold myself tightly against Adam as he opens one side of the doors with his hand and the other gripping me just as tightly. "Ca-" My own voice disappearing from my head as my thoughts become filled with nothing but the beating sound of raindrops. Even so we continue to walk, the marsh ground feeling as if it could swallow up our bodies at anytime...this is a hazard as much as it is a defensive measure. Why would they do this to themselves.
I watch as Thomas carefully treads just behind us and Yasmine holds onto Athena's hand, her and Adam exchanging looks as if they're communicating. I retain my focus for the sake of not being pelted for longer than necessary but I can already feel the bruises forming along my shoulders and back. 'Are you okay Percy?" Adam looks down at me as I just give him a nod in response, I was taught that without my own telepathic gift I won't be able to respond to him unless he's fully dived into my head like the last time, other than that he can hear my subconscious thoughts that sort of just...linger in my head I guess?
'We're almost there' - Adam
A smile forming on my face at the peace I wish so fondly of just being edges from me but as I look back I notice Thomas swaying side to side, his eyes closing with each step and his lips mouthing something...my observation being interrupted by the booming of nearby thunder, blinding us for a moment as Adam pulls me closer in reaction albeit heavily delayed compared to the nature of thunder. I feel him pick up pace with him near enough lifting me off my feet and holding me to his chest, 'If I fall into mud I'm killing him' The thought bringing a smile to Adam's face, realising he unintentionally started to baby me to where I can't walk by myself now. Not complaining though since it's less cardio for me, Crest's usually the one who does all that.
'Isn't that right Crest?'
'...'
'Crest?'
