Floating Cloud City

It was middle of the afternoon, the sun hung high in the sky, the temperature was slight on the hotter side despite the relatively chilly weather.

The reason was because of the traffic caused by the sheer number pedestrians.Various stalls started to open at the edge of the road, crowding with people having food and buying lunch.

Also, there were a lot of stalls that seemed useful to mercenaries selling armor, magic items, and various tools. It was an incredible scene, as it looked like a flee market.

 As people were handling their own agenda, a strange scene was unfolding before everybodies eyes, the crowd began to make way and split like the red sea for moses.

An old man in luxurious clothing accompanied by a equally luxuriously dressed young man that looked to be in his early teens.

One thing everybody can agree on was that these two were not to be triffled with, simply by the aura coming off that old man was enough to shake one's soul to its core.

People may think that mercenaries are dumb brute with no morals or smarts, but the case is far from the truth, because any good mercenary that wants to stay alive is no dumbass.

They have developed a cany sixth sense for danger through out there years of fighting deep in the gutters between life and death.

Ignoring the comotion around them Long Ye and Long Yi walked forward without missing a beat, soon they arrived in front of what lseemed to be the biggest inn in town and called snow peak inn.

Long Yi proceeded to open the doors and walked in first, inside there was a counter with seats and a large number of people sitting at seven tables.

Five of the tables were filled with mercenaries making loud noises while drinking beer and flirting with the waitresses. But soon the noises strated to die down as more and more people notice him.

Soon his eyes landed on a tall and muscular man with a height of about 2 meters with scars on his face standing behind the bar counter he looked around at least seventy years old.

The elder had white hair and a white beard, his skin had no wrinkles. He had the skin of a middle-aged man However, his eyes were very strange; they were a pair of eyes that seemed to be able to see through everything in this world!

But upon using his eyes to scan his bones and meridans, Long Yi soon realized that this man should be around his early fifty years old the oldest and mid to late forties the youngest, clearly he went through some life altering experience which resulted in his current appearance

Long Yi followed by Long Ye made there way towards him without paying attention to the nearby mercenaries, upon seeing them arrive in front of the counter the man said

"Welcome to snow peack inn, this erea is the bar, diner, as well as the front desk and it is called 'Bears Point'. My name is Su Haoran im the owner and manager of this establishment how may i help you gentlemen today"

Despite his rough look he spoke in a polite,friendly and eloquent manner. Nodding to him Long Yi also responded in his deep and commanding voice.

"How do you do, we are here to rent 2 rooms please as for the stay we would like it to be for a week, thank you "

With swift movements, the men pulled out 2 sets of keys and dropped them in the table in a polite manner in order not to offend his guests then he said.

"that would be ten gold coins please, thank you."

Without pause or hesitation Long Yi took out a low grade clear crystal like stone, the energy that was emmiting from the stone cause a uproar in the hall.

Even the owner was shocked, so shocked in fact that he didn't know how to react, which in turned cause an awkward delay in him giving the customer the keys to their rooms.

After what seemed like a few seconds of having is mind blown by this turn of events, he cleared his throat and then quickly reached under the counter and pulled out a heavily decorated box.

Looking at the quick change in the owners attitude Long Yi felt a little guilty since from what Long Ye has told him those nobles are arrongant pricksso he tried to smoth it over out of guilt since he wasn't a noble nor a prick

Smilling at this old man embarassement Long Ye answered "coming grandpa"

After dissapearing from sight the hall once again erupted in chatter, they all had one question who in the world are these two?

Sitting up Cai Yueyao immediately became spirited, like a child that found a new toy to play with. Next to her Kun Lao looked saw Long Ye and and turned back to Cai Yueyao and said

Like water under a bridge his warning came and went, shaking his head he once again kept eating because he knew when she had that expression on her face she would not listen to to reason.
