"Have you ever thought that the world would suddenly end? What does it feel to be in a land of the unknown? If a caveman would be placed in a modern society then would he survive? What if everyday was a battle for survival? What if you came to know that there are other civilizations outside of our own world? These are what everyone of us here who have survived experienced.
It has been a decade since we arrived in this new world and I still can't get to believe that I am still alive. The image of that day is still ingrained in my mind. I was in the backyard watching the sunset and my wife is playing around with our two kids. Suddenly, the color of the sky changed. My first thought was that of the Aurora Borealis but that shouldn't be possible since I am now living in a country in South East Asia. It was as if the sky is painting itself to create an art of the highest degree. It was not the only change, there was this enigmatic feeling. To describe it would be like listening to a soothing music that I have never heard before but it was able to communicate with me. It was an almost perfect scenery but reality is really cruel.

My son and wife died. I am sorry that I could not elaborate more on what happened to my family because it still pains me to this day that I was not able to do anything but I am lucky enough to still have my daughter or I probably won't be here writing this. After all, most survivors became alone on that day.
The last thing I could remember from that day was lying on the grass with my daughter who had fallen unconscious. The rumbles of the earth has grown weaker but from as far as I can see, everything was in ruins. As if that was not enough, I saw what I thought was an asteroid growing closer and bigger in my eyes. Will it collide with the Earth? Would this be the end of humanity? I have those thoughts in my mind. I closed my eyes and left myself to fate. If this was the end then so be it.

"Another Publication from Earth huh, That makes this the 4th text from Earth that I have seen. This one seems to be a journal though. I guess I'll continue reading this tomorrow since I am kind of sleepy and tomorrow is the day." I turned off the device that was given to me for reading these interactive holographic books as I myself went to sleep.
