Wait what… Almost everyone told themselves how did the “Ball of Affinities” glow that much if he only has a medium affinity? There are 6 levels of affinity and they are Low, Medium, High, King, Emperor and God. King affinities are considered the absolute geniuses in Polerna because the Emperor affinity only a few people got and they were the Elemental knights the incarnate of the element itself. That’s why God affinity was out of the question.

While I was thinking what just happened and why the ball started to glow that much I heard a voice calling out and I search for the voice, and saw Lianne talking. I look at her with questioned eyes and right at this moment my parents came. I didn’t notice but this happened in a 10 seconds interval it was very quick and very odd.

My parents rushed to me and ask if I was fine. Right at this moment my parents saw my Affinity and got shocked because why would a Medium affinity make the Ball of Affinities glow this much? Lianne the Tester didn’t have any answer. A few more seconds the other testers ran inside the tent to see what was happening. No one had any guesses why it suddenly glowed that much.

But I knew the answer, I told myself before the glow blinded us for a second I caught a small glimpse in the ball it said “Arthur: Affinity Fire: [God]” Then after a second it became medium. I didn’t know what just happened. I found it weird I didn’t tell anyone about this for now, I waited to see if it would ever become an Affinity [God] again but it never did.

We left right away after the test and my parents questioned for a while then stop once they thought it was all an accident. Everyone that was present in the test knew it was an accident.

The next morning I woke up early and tried to use magic now that I learned my affinity. I easily created a fire ball though it only lasted a few seconds. I continued making fire balls for a few more days till I can at least hold it for a minute. After I could hold it for more than a minute I tried making other kinds of spell but failed, couldn’t even make the fire itself.

8 years has passed by (ok no more major time skips I swear) I am about start to go to school, the school where every status can apply to go to. I wanted to experience the commoner’s life so I asked my father if I can apply as a commoner for the remainder of the school years. At first he didn’t want to but after a few days of persuasion I got him to agree but with the condition of hidden body guards following me everywhere.

My father gave me a monthly allowance of 200 gold which was a lot and I started to stay in a commoner residence in the school 200 gold is a large sum even for the High nobles because 1000 copper is 1 silver and 100 silver is 1 gold. A normal family usually earns 400 silver a year and this could last them for quite a while.

I started to walk to my new School. As I got there I saw many noble kids but and some commoners. At first sight you can already see the big kind of wall in the right side the noble kids come in and the left side the commoners come in.

I walk to the left side of the hall just as all the other commoner kids. I started to look at my papers what room am I supposed to stay in and I saw room the number 69 as my room number. At first I didn’t get it then after a few seconds of walking I suddenly remembered my past life what the number was supposed to mean so I just grinned and started look for the room again. After a few minutes past I found the room. The mighty room of 69! I told myself to amuse myself. I turned and opened the door and found a dark hair person staring at me. I suppose his my roommate I told myself.

“So you’re my roommate right?” I said to the dark haired person

“Yep! My name is Randy!” the person stood up and shook my hand.

Just as that second I saw his toned muscle he had brown skin and hazel eyes he was fairly good looking I told myself. Then I just notice and saw a there were three beds…

“I’m Arthur nice to meet you” I said enthusiastically then added “So why is there three beds?” I asked

“Oh didn’t know this was a three bedroom room? Well because both of us got here before the third guy” he told me.

“So what does you dad do?” he said and added “You look pretty rich to me almost like those noble kids”

“Oh my father is uhh trader of some kind” I told him. I really couldn’t tell him that I am the second prince so I just made this up.

“Oh! So you are rich!” he said loudly with a happy voice and added “Finally someone can treat me and I can eat good food!”

I surrendered and said “fine, fine” and added “I’ll treat you after we meet are last roommate!” I told him

Just at this moment the door opened again I saw a Handsome Blonde young man almost the same hair cut as my father. He had blue eyes and a smile in his face for some reason.

“ Wait are you guys my roommates?” he smiled and said enthusiastically

“I’m Kaileth call me Kail for short” he quickly added

Right as I was going to reply to him Randy interrupted me and quickly said “I’m Randy and this is Arthur and quick Arthur

said he is going to treat us” he said in a fast voice

“REALLY?!” Kail said in a loud voice with a hint of excitement

“Fine let’s go eat!” I said with a smile on my face
