The night hunters, they are hunters who hunt in the darkness of the night. They are one of those tribes who have even tackled the grand knights and have survived, though nomadic tribes are to be beheaded under the new law and this law is also the reason why peace has been maintained for so many years.

I am personally very afraid of the night hunters, their rigorous fighting style. They directly consume the herbs which are used to make the potions. I faced them when I was near the level of a silver knight. If it wasn’t my luck, I would have died.

I sat near the river for quite a while staring at my reflection in the river water, wondering why I am so weak.

“What are you doing here?” said the grand knight I fought.

“Just staring at myself,” I said.

“Good self-analysis is very important,” he said.

He was alone and it was quite rare for the grand knights to be alone, he sat beside me near the river bank on a stone.

“Yes, I think I have seen it,” I said.

We both started to cross the forest and move towards the south where I saw those night hunters.

With that said, I handed Brux to Nohan and started walking alone towards the night hunters.

I was sweating, the screams of the night hunters grew stronger as I neared them and my speed also decreased. I started moving very quietly, suppressing my presence totally. Even some wild night hunters would have not noticed me.

I got nearly close enough to attract all of them towards me, it was initially a bit scary but I was so close to them that turning away now would literally result in my death.

Two night hunters were the closest to me, I silently grabbed one of them and using my knife stabbed his heart. His scream grabbed the attention of all the night hunters. Night hunters are very barbarous, they don’t think before acting. All of them rushed towards me growling, though they do have a lot of affection for each other.

“Dark frogs summon,” I said.

Three frogs summoned out of the land, two engaged with the night hunters and the third one along with me started to move towards the direction of the river.

Though dark frogs are very strong, they still are very weak when it comes to night hunters. The frogs were also greatly outnumbered. I predicted the time for the night hunters to catch up to me for roughly a minute. I mounted the frog and ordered it to take long jumps. This way I was able to move faster. The river was at my sight in a few seconds.

The power of the frog’s portion was also draining, I can only handle a potion’s power for ten hours and it was already past ten hours that I drank the potion.

I opened my bag and grabbed the first potion I could get. It was the vines potion, I did not get the time to check how it works but had to use it in a battleground.

I drank all of it and felt the change in me. Potions directly have an effect on the body and it can be felt, I felt a bit confident after I drank it because the feeling was not new for me, it was basically the feeling I feel when I drink a lancer potion.

As soon as I drank it, a night hunter showed up beside me. They are very good jumpers, they can easily jump upto the height of a giant rock.

I raised my hand towards that night hunter and loudly said “Vines, emerge,”.

A very long veins emerged from the air near my hand and totally crushed that night hunter. Slowly many night hunters started catching up to me but they were no match for the vines or maybe because the real chiefs of this group weren’t there.

The chiefs of a night hunter’s group are as strong as a gold knight. Sometimes a chief is strong enough to even take on the diamond knights and the grand knight.

I was close enough to the river that a very giant night hunter climbed up to the top of the frog, he was very big in size and probably stronger than most of the night hunters who fell. I held my ground and once again created a vine to tackle him but when the vine was most towards him, he caught the vine with his bare hands and pulled me towards him. I wasn’t able to resist that and was pulled towards him. He landed a very strong head butt that my helmet cracked. I went numb for a moment but quickly gained consciousness and detached the vine from my hand. But the giant night hunter was not only strong but fast and punched. The punch cracked open my helmet and I fell off from the frog. Thousands of night hunters ganged up on me, rumbling all over my body.

I thought I was a goner but Nohan soon arrived there and with a very large lancer killed all the night hunters who were above me.

He reached out to me. He quickly put a healing potion on me and soon my wounds were healed though the giant night hunter’s punch left a mark on my left cheek.

I hurriedly got up and got ready to fight the night hunters along with Nohan.

“You should stand back for now,” Nohan said.

“No, I can fight,” I said.

“You can, I know but they are stronger, we must fight in turns to be safe,” he said.

“Then I will fight first,” I said.

“You are very persistent, even though your legs are trembling, you want to fight,” he said.

“Your legs are trembling, not mine,” I said.

“Let’s fight together then,” he said.

“Sounds good,” I said.

I took up a stance which I really liked and propelled towards the giant night hunter. He wasn’t ready for such an attack and bent backwards to protect itself but fell down instead. I took the chance and stabbed a knife in its chest insteadly killing it.

Nohan smiled seeing me and also propelled forward hitting any night hunter coming in front of him. He took out a lance and started piercing all the night hunters one by one.

Though we both were very strong, the number of night hunters kept increasing and we were becoming tired.
