Carriage was shaking, the sun was down, peoples in the carriage were silent, long monotonous journey left them knock out.
“We are only half past to our destination,” Veca said.
Elen silently sat there, travelling in the carriage left her struggling to keep her eyes open. Lowell silently examined surrounding as carriage moves. Wilds was dangerous, dark creatures would appear any moment. Out of focus in wilds can lead to very horrible consequence.
‘Wilds are extra silent, no birds sound, atmosphere becoming dark at silently high rates. There is something wrong,' Lowell thought as his hand tightly grip his sword.
“Let me tell you a one humorous joke,” Sven injected.
“No!” Elen shouted.
“Hey! Don’t stop me. This joke is actually good.” Sven stopped Elen from interrupting.
Elen and Veca turned their heads to the corner of the carriage.
“Ghost king come out of the forest. He sees the terrified girl. He draws blood and says to the girl,” He took a long paused and said, “I don’t have some sugar, is my blood enough?”
‘Shit! Not Oidhchevor. These fucked up creatures only bring death,’ Lowell thought.
“Move carriage fast,” Lowell shouted.
Darkness loomed, a dark grey creature with black and red scale over its body crawled towards carriage. It had six legs; three fingers in each leg with long sharp nails and a long wide-open mouth with hundreds of thin sharp teeth.
Lowell jumped down from the carriage, lunge at Oidhchevor and slash his sword. His attacked blocked by Oidhchevor. Oidhchevor’s claw hit him in his chest. His thick jacket tear, leaving raw marks. Blood flow out from his chest. His wound began recovering slowly.
Lowell moved away from the Oidhchevor’s left side, climbed the tree quickly, and leaped down, clutching the sword in both hands firmly. The sword pierced the monster’s body. He thrust his sword deep into the monster. Monster wailed in agony and again attacked him with its legs continuously. Lowell pushed backward to the front of the carriage, several wounds covering his whole body.
People in the carriage withdrew to the corner, and the color drained from their faces. They felt numb in their bodies.
“Drive the carriage quickly,” all of them shouted at the driver.
‘Fuck, fuck, FUCK,’
Lowell shouted as tens of wounds on his body began to heal, giving him excruciating pain. He surged forward with the dragger in his hand. Monster’s claw hit in his leg, hand, and torso. He tackled all of its attacks head on. More and more wounds formed in his body. Ignoring his increasing pain, he slashed his dragger at the monster where the sword stuck. He slashed and slashed his sword, monster scream and scream. Huge amount of blood dropped from Lowell and monster. At finally, the creature died. Lowell lay on the ground with a dead creature to his side.
“Ahh!” “Ahh!” “Ahh!”
Screams were heard from the carriage. One, two, three, four, five Oidhchevor emerged from the wilds and charged toward the carriage. Carriage rolled down, and those on it scattered around.
One of the Oidhchevors attacked Veca. It opened its big mouth, ripped apart Veca’s head with its sharp teeth and chewed it swiftly. Steady blood flow through Veca’s head. Oidhchevor didn’t stop there; it began biting her torso, limbs and legs, anything it could digest.

Driver and Sven weren’t in any good condition. Sven's whole torso was ripped off from both sides by two Oidhchevors. There was only a small part remain that connected the head and lower body.
“Ahh! “Sven took his final breath and died. Oidhchevors ate his remaining parts.
The carriage driver’s body was slashed into twenty or thirty pieces as two Oidhchevors fought for his body parts. Blood pooled around the carriage like water in a pond around the statue.
Lowell attempted to stand up,but fell. His wounds were recovering at a snail’s pace. Death happened one after another in front of his eyes. He was powerless since there were so many monsters.
“Save me, save me,” Elen cried. Another Oidhchevor emerged from the wilds. it attacked her. Elen’s left forehand sliced off her arm.
Lowell used all of his power to getup, pull the sword out of dead Oidhchevor and charged at it. He deflected its claws and saved Elen.
“Thank you,” Elen said, her voice filled with pain.
The Oidhchevor opened his mouth wide, screamed, and attacked Lowell. Lowell dodged most attacks by dashing or crouching. He blocked, deflected, or took frontal attacks that were in Elen’s way.
‘Clomp! Clomp!’ Oidhchevor appeared behind Lowell and attacked Elen swiftly.
“NO! I can’t die. My grandmother needs medicine from the city. I need to survive,” Elen cried out and said to Lowell, “Save me, uncle,” before dying in horror.
Lowell turned toward the other Oidhchevor, but it was too late. Oidhchevors besieged him from all sides. Some monster bite his hand, while other slice his leg. His death was imminent.
‘Finally! a death. Dying while fighting monster isn’t so bad’ Lowell signed, looked at Oidhchevors, and they were attacking him. He dropped his sword.
*****
Five young boys around 12 years old were beating a silver hair boy. Muscular boy, a leader of the group, punched silver hair boy in his face. Other minions threw their punches and kicks over him.
“You weak Lowell. You are a disgrace to the Fox family.” Muscular boy jeered and punched again in his face.
They tired from beating him and leaving him all alone.
“This Fox couldn’t even take 10 punches.”
Young Lowell rose up and packed his things, scattering around him. He grabbed a small cloth from his bag, rubbed his face, and walked to his house.
Along the way, he saw people violently fighting each other over some coppers, some were fighting over beautiful girl while other fighting over small disagreement. There was nothing other than violence around him. People had no other solutions to their small or big problems except violence. Violence was like a crazy miracle to their problems.
‘Are people can’t see simple solution to their problem?’
As young Lowell was thinking deeply, he finally reached his house. There was a huge mansion, two small building located around it and small and big, beautiful trees, covered its surrounding. When Lowell entered his house, a silver-haired man in his 30s looked at him and shake his head.
“You again come to home all beat up. Why would you not fight?” Jaxton Fox said.
“Why should I fight? Violence leads to another violence that will lead to yet another violence. It will never end. Why should I struggle with this continuity?”
“So, what are you going to do about this? take beating all your life. “
Young Lowell put his bag around the room and said to his father, “No, they will bore after beating me many times. Violence will end and I will not have to live in a constant cycle of violence.”
Jaxton grabbed a glass full of water from table and smashed it around Lowell, “This is just a coward excuse. If you never stop violence with violence, they will keep coming with more violence.”
Young Lowell picked up all pieces of glass. “Father, you have born in violence, learn to embrace and live with it. But it doesn’t mean that you are right. Violence is never meant to be as an answer, and it never will.”
“You and your coward talk never stops. You haven’t even reached your adulthood, don’t even know how the world looks like and how its work.”
Lowell cleaned the wet floor and said, “I may be little, but I have seen enough to know what is right and what is wrong.”
Jaxton sat at the chair and said, “We Fox ani’t coward. if someone slap at us, we slash them. If someone pick a fight, we killed them. Our Fox swordsmanship is clever, fast, and violent. We use any means to achieve our goal.
One day, when you mature enough to see the real world, you will know the importance of violence. You will go any length to survive and take what yours. If someone stops you, you will kill them.”
Young Lowell leaned closer to his father and said, “That day will never come.”

‘dang’
Lowell's sword fell onto the ground. Some part of Lowell’s left hand was lying near limbs of Elen body. Oidhchevor shattered his left foot into bits. Lowell crumbled.
‘Fox Ain’t coward’ voice echoed in his mind.
Lowell crawled toward Elen's corpse, ripped one of her legs and bit it. Elen blood flow though his body. Wound started healing at high speed. His foot and hand regenerated slowly.
Lowell grabbed the dragger from his waist and hacked Oidhchevor. Oidhchevor, from the other side, bit his right leg and ripped apart. Despite the crazy pain, Lowell continuously slashed the dragger at it. His left hand completely regenerated. He made a long sharp blade with blood on his left hand, slashed at Oidhchevor and its part cut off from its body.
Lowell formed a fake right leg with blood to support him from falling. He threw dragger and made another sharp blade with blood. He swung both his blood blades to Oidhchevor. One after another, Oidhchevors fell as it sliced them into pieces. One remaining Oidhchevor bit his left waist and ripped it apart.
Lowell sliced the last Oidhchevor with blood blades, killing it instantaneously. Crazy battlefield formed with blood over grass; human and Oidhchevors parts scattered around in large number, and man resting on top of it. The horses were frozen in silence. Oidhchevors exclusively consume human flesh. So, horses left alive by it.
Lowell crawled towards Elen, grabbed another limb of her and sucked blood from it. it didn’t even quince the thirst for blood. His eyes became red, teeth became sharp, his heartbeat and breath rose. He struggled to find any human pieces in the vast collection of Oidhchevors parts. Elen’s damage torso was lying in the bottom. He bit her torso. His heartbeat and breathing return to normal. He hauled the carriage straight and attached it to the horses. He took over the driver's seat and drove the carriage to the city.
