As a child you were always the center of attention. Ambassadors always coming from far away kingdoms in attempt to draw you to their side. The gazes of your neighbors as they whispered among themselves speaking of the you with gazes of envy, disgust, pride, and pity.

You would occasionally play in the fields as the other children will generally leave you alone, fearing that they would offend you in any way. A few children were brave enough to face you however and they soon became your only friends.

"Kristen, Avery, come quick I found a small critter that you'd like to see." you happily exclaimed and quickly dragged your friends after you.

All of you were at the tender age of seven, Kristen was a tall-for-his-age boy with penetrative eyes, he mostly had a smile on his face, his skin was a cream-peach colored and his chestnut hair hung around his face in curtains often obstructing his view. He would occasionally move the hair to the side to be able to see but it would eventually fall back into place. He often dressed in vests and easy to move in pants and loved to joke around. His slender frame would often be seen moving from place to place as to set up jokes and tricks and at times he would shirk off his chores to go play a prank.

On the other-hand Avery was short for her age. She often was duty-bounded and would complete all the chores before she did anything. She always was serious but when with her friends such as you she turned into a completely different person. She would relax, capable of playing games and not explode with anger. In addition to all of these traits she was a master of analysis, nothing escapes from her eyes. She had plum-colored hair and honey skin. Her emerald eyes were dim but when angry it would flare up.

The three of you traveled to the edge of the field, and came across a peculiar squirrel, unlike other squirrels it had three tails and strange markings on

"Look, its the animal I wanted to show you guys, isn't it cute?"

Avery saw the squirrel and instantly backed away, Kristen on the other-hand went forward and even tried to pet it.

"KRISTEN NOO" Avery cried out and this sudden outburst of noise scared the squirrel away.

"Jeez Avery, that squirrel was cute, maybe we could have kept it as a pet" Kristen sighed with disappointment and looked toward Avery.

"Kristen that animal is to dangerous to keep as a pet, Its a Divine Eye Beast of the Storm element. " Avery retorted.

"A what?" you asked and Avery looked at both of you with disbelief.

"Both of you don't know what a Divine Eye Beast is?"

Both of you shook your heads in response and Avery just slumped with her face in hands.

"Divine Eye Beasts are dangerous creatures due to their powerful offensive abilities, These abilities can vary but the most distinguishable feature that all Divine Eyes beasts have in common is a certain type of marking that would normally be a circle and a line through it, making it look like an eye. These markings can act as an eye which would unleash a powerful torrent of magic capable of blasting through an entire corp of Imperial Soldiers."

Kristen's mouth hung open, his lower jaw would have slammed into the floor long ago if it wasn't connected to his jaw.

"Such a tiny animal had so much power?" Kristen exclaimed with disbelief and his expression alone made you crack up, Avery soon joined you and after that even Kristen was on the ground laughing.

"I wish that days like these never end" Avery exclaimed sorrowfully, as if she knew that you all wouldn't be together for long.

"We can spend the rest of our lives together, in this small village and nothing would change" You said and you glanced at Avery, her face seemed to be twisted with many emotions but it settled into a smile.

"Sure thing" Avery said and she quickly skipped toward home.

You had arrived home to see the sights of your mother placing food on the table, enough for a whole party of people.

"Mother are we having guests over?" You asked and your mother nods her head.

"Today is an important day for you Charlie, guests from all over the kingdom are coming today" your mother replied with a sad look in her face.

"Why are you sad mom?" you asked.

Whipping a tear away from her face she put on a brave smile and replied to your question: "Today may be the last time in a while that you see this ole mother of yours, You're going to go study in one of the capitals of this continent"

Once these words had reached your ears you felt the world shatter around you. "Leave mother?" You said inaudibly and you were about to voice your concern when there was a knock on the door.

"That must be them" Mother said and cleaned her hands and headed toward the door.

You just stood there paralyzed and unable to move due to the unprecedented shock that had overcome you.

The sound of footsteps soon invaded the house and you looked up to see a girl around her mid-teens dressed in two colors, her upper body was covered in black clothing of vest, hair pin, necklace, raven black hair tied in a bun at the back of her head, diluted black pupils. and black sweater, only her pale white skin offered any contrast to her upper body. It was the exact opposite for her lower half though, Glaring white pants, bleached socks, and white gloves on her hands, with the only contrast was her pitch-black combat boots.

Behind the teenager was a woman dressed in a red trench coat and a red fedora, her slacks and combat boots were also red. On her waist was a singular sword handle minus the blade, her crimson eyes scanned the area and landed on you, her crimson hair swayed as if there was a breeze.

"Red Seat of the Shadow Council: Cardinal, and Black and White Seat of the Shadow Council: Yinna of the Sovereign of the Night Kingdom at your service" the teenager spoke in a monotone, she had a cup of tea in her hands and offered it to Mother who gladly accepted it.

"Why don't you all sit down, dinner will be ready soon" Mother offered and Yinna nods her head "Yinna gladly accepts your offer, Cardinal lets go." and the duo made themselves at home and sat at the table.

I unsteadily crept toward the table to sit at my usual seat when another knock and another duo came in.

"Leona and Angelo of the Sol Imperium" Two heavily armored figures walked in. The girl had blazing orange hair coming down in waves, her armor was bulky yet she seemed to move around nimbly. Her face showed a blazing smile, confident, charming, and mature. The man had dirty-blond hair, somewhat stern face with wrinkles and his armor was extremely bulky, he even came with two tower shields, one for each hand.

Mother again smiled as she welcomed them to the house and had them seated opposite of the Moon faction, The two factions glared at each other but each remain seated.

The scent of cooking food soon permeated throughout the room drawing you to the table to sit down in anticipation to eat.

Two duos of people entered from the door as the food was being set down.

"Confederacy of the Stars representatives: Leo and Ahri"

Leo was clean and neat-looking, his posture was perfect and his suit was dust-less. His regal appearance complimented his mane of hair and horned-rimmed glasses highlighted his golden eyes.

Ahri's movements were very charismatic, she seemed to move with grace and elegance and had a bit of an adventurous aura around her. Her glossy black hair was clumped in loops around her head and small horns protruded out of the mess. Both of them were neatly dressed.

The Lunar Rebellion representatives: Yan Ku Nan and Bernholdt

Both of them were males and were rough looking. Both of them had black hair, Bernholdt was scarred and muscled a huge lance hung at his waist. Yan Ku Nan was a slimmer body but was equally muscled. He wore multiple swords on his waist. Their eyes were cold, glaring with obviously hostility at the Sun Faction.

Mother invited them in and sat them at the table and started to place plates of food before all of them.

"Enjoy the meal, and remember, No fighting at the table" and she withdrew to your side as if to comfort you if things got out of hand.

"So Charlie, you're going to grow up to be a fine adult one day, no bet many of the towns people would give anything to have you marry into their family am I right" Ahri winked, Leo gave a small chuckle and Yinna offered everyone tea, some accepted it kindly like Leona, while others flatly ignored it like Bernholdt and Yan Ku Nan.

A few rounds of small talk later Bernholdt slammed the table with his fists and exclaimed "Get to the point, look kid, we want you to join us at the Lunar Rebellion cause we need you to help us, you got special powers that people can only dream of having and if you join us, you can save many lives"

You were confused by what Bernholdt was trying to say but Cardinal also voiced her opinion.

"Its true, you have the power to save many lives, but at the same time it is a power that is capable of taking many lives as well. With the plans of those battle hungry Rebels you'd just be killing more than saving, join us at the Sovereign and you can find yourself a nice position and training to control your powers"

"As if we'd let you take away a prophet of the sun" Angelo exclaimed knocking over his chair as he stood up. "The kid would be better off with us at the Imperium, at least there it would be cleaned of filth such as you lot"

"I thought there would be no fighting at the table, at least we adhere by the rules, kid why not join us at the Confederacy, we will make sure you have a good life there." Ahri smiled as she extended her hand toward you.

[Sovereign of the Night] : The inhabitants worship the Shadow God as their highest authority, underneath him is the council of eight, there is a high possibility that you will join this council. The inhabitants are normally human with volunteers to be genetically enhanced or changed. There is many outlaws but the inhabitants are capable of handling them. Kidnapping,human experimentation, and stealing is a common occurrence to the point that no one tries to stop it. They are religion-based as well as scientific-based.

[Lunar Rebellion] The Lunar Rebellion is militaristic based, all inhabitants are required to join the army for up to four years of service if you stay in the military longer then you get cash and status bonuses. There is generally no fun as the whole kingdom is strict. A king and Queen rule together with generals as the governors and senators.

[Sol Imperium] The Sol Imperium is clean to say the least, by using the power of the sun they purge all those they deem as "filth", over time this causes them to be generally arrogant and prideful. They often are peaceful but they cannot stand filth at all thus they normally purge first and question later. They are ruled by an imperial family.

[Confederacy of the Stars] The Confederacy trains their inhabitants in the ways of the stars, often drawing their powers from the stars themselves. Most of the inhabitants take on the powers of the zodiac, 12 yearly animals as well as the animals of the cardinal directions but others have managed to use the power of the lesser constellations and animals. They have an economy-based government ruled by senators elected by the mass. ]
