Regret, that’s the only thing I can feel right now, Regret at how so impulsive I acted, Just because I was hailed as a genius prodigy by the Royal mages by reaching the 8th circle magic that I forgot about others, more specifically , the monsters, and this is where the regret comes, the person in front of me, Midnight if I remember correctly, is the attendant of Lily, but in the Mages Institute he is also one of the so called monsters, even going as far as being the monster of monsters, he actually got through the last recorded circle of magic, the 15th circle, well, he at least created a spell that can be classified as one so it still technically counts, and because of that he was the 11th Arch magus of the kingdom, more specifically, the 9th Arch magus of the Mages Institutes , and his ranking isn’t even that low thanks to his versatility, all this information is still classified and isn’t released to the public yet as to let the other kingdoms not feel threatened by this sudden powerhouse emergence but as the crown prince , I naturally knew of this news, anyway , he doesn’t have much battle records but his still and element can be inquired through his titles: the Shadow Prince and the Beast Monarch. So I thought , hey why not challenge this guy to a duel with my aids surely it would work out right, but as others would have guessed it went poorly.
