0. Prologue

Current day japan is one of the most peaceful places in the world.

Never mind a gun, even a sword is impossible to have in there.

.....Or at least that’s what the world have been fed.

but the truth is, the reported cases are much lower than what there is.

Gangs roam the streets, murderers are hired to kill others and you’ll even find a sex offender amongst every five people.

to put it simply, this place is much, much worse than what the rest of the world have recognized.

and for the sake of the publicity of being one of the safest, Japan has an overflow of tourist.

this....is the reason Japan refuses to announce the true crime statistics.

even though....over 45% of its murders every year go unsolved.

the public have only heard of the 5% that hasn’t been solved.

now isn’t that amazing?

Japan.

It somehow managed to fool the world by a margin of 40%!

Of course, being a cop is one of the most honorable jobs out there, but not in this place.

not in this.....rotten hell.

----------------------------------------

It was a hot mid-summer day in Tokyo.

Even though it was in the middle of summer, Youngsters aren’t spotted anywhere in the streets of Shibuya.

Shibuya, formally known as the City of sin for those who are bellow 25 of age, it is now but a shell of its former glory.

Clothes shops that are densely packed and yet felt very empty, Arcades that went out of business because of The lack of customers and salons who only receive visitors on the weekends. those sights are nothing but normal here, in this empty city.

The news were covering this full time a few years ago, when the youths suddenly stopped going out of their homes after coming from their work or education institutes.

This all happened when video games had a boom bigger than ever, and a lot of companies have ridden the wave it created, and massed a fortune never beheld before.

Even now, News stations are covering the recent games and their updates regularly, and most of this city’s--this world’s citizens watch those, which enabled even TV channels to hop in within this age’s biggest hype.

And yet, in this so called empty city, there was but a single place that was crowded with observers.

Yes, ‘observers’.

Blue uniformed Police officers blocked the on viewers who wouldn’t even see the light in the holidays from approached the building.

As for why they would leave their homes, it could only be suspected that the culprits are the news stations who were a bit ways off near a van that had a small cloth installed to the side for blocking the hot sun’s radiation that a few suits-wearing men were under.

It seemed as if they’re begging one of the men for an interview, and only gave up after a little while with disappointed looks.

All the men had worn out expressions that were mixed in a very stern ones.

One of the men frustratedly opens the door rather violently and enters, and as if him disappearing into the van was the cue, multiple swat armed trucks came to a stop.

From there, a few tens of what seemed to be heavily armed Swat members came out, rushing toward the entrance, but coming to a stop just a few meters before the entrance.

All the men had their faces covered by heavy helmets, those used to protect one from having their heads shot off.

The last member of the Swat to leave the truck began to slowly approach the small van, seemingly after the violent behavior of the previous man in the suit.

He gently opened the door, unlike how it was opened the previous time, and entered just as slowly.

As soon as the man noticed the three Men inside the van, he quickly gave his greetings.

“Good Afternoon.”

The most recent visitor said as he took off his heavy looking helmet.

What was revealed from under that was a rather young face, in his early thirties at most.

His equipment looked very heavy, while he took a hole of a shield thats installed in his back and a normal Assault rifle hang around his shoulders, for easy of drawing.

His greetings was nothing out of the ordinary, but sensing the heavy atmosphere in the small room of the van, that was full of the state-of-the art computer equipment, he couldn’t help but shrug.

All the men within the room ignored his greetings, and the man soon returned the helmet back to its proper place, perhaps a futile effort to escape the atmosphere and the reality of the situation.

He looked to the left, to find the inspector responsible for this case, and the man who called the Swat unit.

He seemed a bit old for an inspector, but he was without a doubt one of the best.

He had a grim expression, full of rage and regret, and he stomped his feet out of helplessness in this situation, but it couldn’t be helped.

He took a look at the monitor that all three individuals were looking at, and it appeared to be a security camera of the Union’s Bank, and it captured all the hostages with a single gunman in the room.

The man in the Swat then looked toward the second man, who was seated near the video feed, clicking on the keyboard with all his might, and asked “What’s the situation?”

The man, who was dressed in normal clothes and shabby hair began to say “Really.....why did you call someone out in their day off...? ahh~ i was having a nice, long sleep for once......”

He ignored the man’s question, and started grumbling his own complaints.

Even i want to complain y’know.....

He then quickly turned to the last person in the small back of the van, and that was a person anyone in the police force should know, The Deputy Superintendent-General Shimura Daisuke.

The man of this structure shouldn’t even bother with a case similar to this, but he actually came down to the field

himself...this was, of course, because his son is one of the hostages.

....Or rather, his son, inspector Shimura Eiji was caught up in this mess.

The deputy then answered the man’s question, while heaving a sigh “The Bank robbery started 12 minutes ago. Three men and what seemed to be a woman entered the bank, fully armed with what seemed to be M16 assault rifles. Inspector Shimura hid in the bathroom at the time of the robbery started, and is now giving us a live report from the inside of the bank while mixing in with the hostages.”

“Did we get lucky this time...? no....this might not be luck at all....” The man quickly muttered under his breath.

I mean, an inspector ‘accidentally’ caught up in a bank robbery?

He must be either very unlucky or he’s part of all of this.

The man quickly shacked his head in order to suppress these ideas.

I’m not an inspector. my job is getting those people out of there safely.

He quickly returned his eyes to the screen, looking for the perfect chance to get in there and arrest all of them.

And after a while, a figure appeared before the camera that was focused on the hostages.

The figure was that indeed of a woman...although, something did stand out.

She wore a tight, black suit and a fox mask commonly sold in festivals.

The fox mask shouldn’t be able to hide that much, but it unexpectedly did.

It gave off the feeling that the woman was still very young, compared to the men in this van at least.

She held on to a black Assault rifle that The man himself was very familiar with, the Untied states prided M16.

He quickly shouted, “What were the demands!?”

All men darkened their expressions, and that atmosphere got even heavier, enough to crush someone’s lungs if not careful.

With cold sweat breaking out in his forehead, the Frustrated inspector quickly said “They haven’t requested anything yet!!!”

The man knew from experience that those who do not make any demands have to be either crazy amateurs or terrifying veterans.

And both of them are rather....hard to deal with.

Since veterans have backup plans for everything while the crazy amateurs could kill all the hostages if cornered.

But how they avoided all the cameras so far, according to the man responsible for the cameras, they cant be amateurs.

But....why did the woman step into the camera’s field even though she avoided it until now?

“H-hey! are all the cameras alright?!”

The man frantically screamed.

The guy seated suddenly jumped from surprise at the sudden change, and quickly answered “no...this one’s the only one working...”

The man quickly guessed exactly why they would keep the one on the hostages safe.

And hoped from the bottom of his mind that its just a coincidence, and that they won’t do what he has in mind.

But......it was hopeless from the start.

The girly quickly got the man in the white collar shirt, Inspector Eiji up to his feet and led him toward the camera.

As they approached a few feet away from the camera, the woman quickly pressed down the hammer and shot inspector Eiji in the head.

“A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A--!”

The Deputy Superintendent was shocked beyond belief, that he couldn’t even utter a word while the man in the suit broke down crying, opening and closing his mouth like a fish.

The woman further agitated both of them by making the peace sign over one of her eyes over the mask, and Although the camera didn’t transmit sound, the phone in Inspector’s Eiji’s body did.

She laughed, and continued to laugh maniacally with a "Hehehehe....hahahahahaha~!!"

The man quickly fixed his judgment, they were insane veterans.

Those without moral.

Those with plans that are so horrible, that they wouldn’t mind killing a few hundred people for money.

The woman quickly shot the camera, and the The Deputy Superintendent shouted into the microphone, “Get in! And don’t let even a single one of them out!!”

This was a bad move, everyone probably thought that.

No.....perhaps only the man thought that, since he saw what just happened.

Those outside just awaited the signal that they just received, and they quickly broke down the entrance for the bank.

But........

........A few minutes later, a transmitter was received.

「All the hostages are dead. Suspects not found.」

On that day, one billion yen was stolen.

It was japan’s biggest bank heist in its history, and all the suspects, the three men and one woman disappeared Without a trance alongside the money.
