By dawn, Jenkins and Gunhild reached the Port of Clive. They needed to pass through the gate, at first Jenkins thought Gunhild payed the fee from the first town however he guessed wrong. Gunhild took lead and as she was stopped by the guard for the fee payment, she took out an emblem that was worn around her neck like a necklace. When the guard saw it, he politely bowed to her and gestured to move along inside.

Jenkins was momentarily confused as to what he had witnessed. There was stuff they both needed to do so he decided to save off the questions for later tonight. The first place Gunhild lead Jenkins to was the Adventurers Guild. Gunhild was running through the basics to Jenkins as he was filling out the adventurers application.

“The form is pretty straight forward. Your name, Age and class are the important parts of the form that they will look at. If you are underage, your application will be denied. As for your class it would best to put ‘Rear Echelon’ and list out some abilities below with a short description of what it does.”

Pulling up his status window to reference, Jenkins tried his best to fill the form and bullshitted a few of the abilities.

Jenkins showed his finished from to Gunhild to see if she detected anything that he had written wrong.

“Is this really what your status shown you?”

Gunhild asked Jenkin while looking at the skills portion.

“Those are some bullshit skills if I’d even seen one. Some I don’t even know what it even does.”

Gunhild handed Jenkins form back to him and as he was able to get up to head back to the guild receptionists, Gunhild gave Jenkins some advice.

“If possible, fight with your shovel instead of that ‘thing’.”

Jenkins holstered his M1 Garand and took his Shovel out. The guild receptionist went over a few details on the from to confirm that everything on it is validated. The she showed Jenkins to the back where beginner adventurers are tested on their strength. He paused to self-reflected on himself.

“Eh? My strength can’t be that strong.”

Shrugging his shoulders, Jenkins went inside the training chamber. Gunhild, while waiting for Jenkins to come out from there received another oracle from Freyja.

“The village where your destination lies are in danger. Make haste as a Maiden is caught in the crossfire.”

A noisy ruckus could be heard coming from the training chamber. Feeling a bit worried, Gunhild decide to enter the training chamber to check on how Jenkins was faring. What she saw was the training floor blown to pieces, the ‘Warrior’ instructor knocked out and Jenkins dumbstruck at the destruction before him.

Gunhild unintentionally leaked out.

“Jenkins… What did I say about self-restraint?”

Jenkins while still fazed stumbled on his explanation.

“Y-yea. Um. That warrior came at me like a train on full speed, saying something about me having a warrior resolve after I counter him a few times with my shovel.”

Gunhild face palmed knowing that she would have to give the guild master an explanation without exposing the identity of Jenkins. She approached the injured warrior and casted a healing spell on him.

“Angelic Harmony.”

Angelic Harmony, a special spell exclusively to devout followers of Freyja. It had been said that the spell can heal and cure any aliments. A few posses this skill and those who do posses it are known to be acknowledged by her as her mortal realm Maidens. The warrior jolted up awake after Gunhild completed her spell. She waved to get his attention.

“I apologize for the destruction that my pupil had caused. I hope this amount is suffice to cover the reparation cost.”

The warrior looked at Jenkins and then at Gunhild.

“Uh. Yes. That’s more than enough. And that monster passed.”

As Jenkins was making his way towards Gunhild, he retorted.

“Oi. You were coming at me with the intent of blowing me to smithereens.”

Gunhild asked the warrior again.

“He passed?”

“Yes. He passed.”

Gunhild then grabbed Jenkins arm as he was about to stop walking and immediately ran out of the training chambers and out of the Adventurers Guild as Jenkins was screaming in the background.

“WHAT THE F- THIS SPEED!???”
