The three Main Characters:

Ryujin Aozora - A 16-year-old anime fan and gaming otaku who loves rice.

Tsubasa Tenjin - A 19-year-old RPG expert and a helpful adviser, who enjoys pineapple bacon bits pizza. He works as a restaurant assistant cook.

Renjiro Matsukaze - A 16-year-old casual RPG player and fellow otaku

The story begins with Ryujin, bored out of his mind. He opens his browser and looks up RPGs. After trying a few games that fail to captivate him, he stumbles upon a game called **Heart and Woods Online**. He plays for a while and absolutely loves it. 

While enjoying the game, he meets someone named **Takumi Hoshinori**, who is at level 48. 

“Hello there!” Ryujin types.  

“Hi! Are you a new player?” Takumi replies.  

“Yes, I am. Why do you ask?” Ryujin responds.  

“I was just wondering if you need any help,” Takumi offers.  

“YES! I would love some tips,” Ryujin says eagerly.

Takumi then explains almost the entire game to Ryujin. After playing together, Ryujin finds himself at level 8. Takumi asks him if he uses Yocord.

“Yes, I do! It’s @RyujinAozora,” Ryujin replies.  

“Great! I’ll add you so we can play together again,” Takumi says.  

“YES! I would love to play again sometime,” Ryujin responds enthusiastically.

Takumi messages him on Yocord: “Hey Ryu, it’s me, Takumi.”  

“Takumi from HADO?” Ryujin asks.  

“Yep, HADO,” Takumi confirms.  

“It’s a shorthand for **Hearts and Woods Online**,” Ryujin clarifies.  

“Ah, okay, that’s cool! There isn’t a shorthand for *Hearts of Wood Online*, though. So, Ryu, do you want to join my guild?”  

“Guild? That’s a thing in HADO too?” Ryujin responds, surprised.  

“Yeah, it is! The guild's name is ********. Are you going to join?”  

“WELL YEAH, OF COURSE I would!”  

“Thanks, Ryu, you’re the best!”  

“No, no, you helped me so much,” Ryujin insists.  

“Whatever you say, man. I’ve got to go for a bit. Get to know some members,” Takumi says.  

“Okay, see you, bro!” Ryujin replies.  

“Cyaa!” 

The members introduce themselves:  

**Ren Asakura** - “Hello there!”  

**Yuuto Mizuki** - “Yo, what’s up, bro?”  

**Haru Kurohana** - “Hi!”  

“How are you all doing?” Ryujin asks.  

“We're doing okay. What about you?” Ren, Yuuto, and Haru ask in unison.  

“I’m just fine,” Ryujin responds.  

“Hey, what level are you in *Hearts of Wood Online*?” Tsubasa inquires.  

“I’m at level 8 right now,” Ryujin replies.  

Tsubasa’s profile catches his eye. It reads, “If I ain't online, then I’m sleeping or watching anime, mostly DBP.”  

“Time for some fun,” Ryujin mutters, sending Tsubasa a message:  

“I KNOW YOU'RE ONLINE.”  

“What? That scared me!” Tsubasa replies.  

“Bro, a message scared you? WEAK!” Ryujin says, laughing.
