"omi, honey what are you doing?" I asked as I turned around the counters towards the stove.
"Pancakes, you like them right." He paused waiting for my answer.
"Of course, yours are my favorite though." I replied nodding, and placed a kiss on his cheek.
"That's good, I thought I'd make some as a treat." The voice is so soft and sweet. Absolutely beautiful. "They're almost done, wait a little, love." That nickname that I always adored, and his voice, made me swoon. I felt like I was falling in love again.
I left the kitchen and sat on the counter top stool, while watching him continue, moseying around so effortlessly and mesmerizing. He's beautiful.
"Love, you're staring." He reminded me. My trance broke.

"You're too gorgeous not to stare at.~" I extended the words a bit. He giggled a little, his silent tiny giggle that made him appear as bright as the sun. I love you.
"I love you." I said voicing my thoughts.
"I.. love you too." He signed exasperated, but I could tell it was out of endearment. I hugged him encircling his waist with my arms. He leaned back, so warm and with the strong smell of his shampoo, coconut scented. I loved this smell, I had wished that I could have it as a candle.
"Omi, you're warm."I said burying my face in his back, he hummed and walked dragging me along to put our plates on the table.
"Hmm." I felt his hands on mine and stood like that for a little, rocking back and forth. It was so slow and comforting.
Beep,.beep,.beep.
My eyes opened up to see the ceiling, in a light gray. I turned to the beeping noise, my phone i realized. The bed was cold, so desolate and utterly frigid. He's not here and the house is quiet.
I pick up my phone and press stop on the alarm. My screen alights and I see my reminder:
'grave visitation ends at 5(visit omi before then)'
Oh, now I remember why the bed and house felt so cold and lifeless.
He's gone now.
