A human figure emerging from a cold mist, every step he takes makes the people around him tremble, he looks up and the never ending darkness from his eyes is enough to make someone fall to their knees.  (Zooms into his eye)

“Mom, I’m back” says a kid who has a scar on his left eye which has lost him the ability to see. “Welcome back my little boy” I see that you’ve caught dinner” says the mother cheerfully, “Mom, I’m not a little kid anymore I turn 15 in four days!” “I know, I know but you will always be my baby. I’ll cook one of the chickens and you can put the rest in the meat storage, I’ll cast a cooling spell later.” The mother said ( In the mind of the kid) “Mom is amazing knowing how to cast spells only if they’re just ice type spells, I don’t think anyone knows how to cast magic in the village except for my mother.” The boy thought to himself. (Zooms to a top view of the whole village.) “Mom how long is it gonna take to make dinner?” “About 30 minutes” “I’ll come back in 30 minutes then, I’m going to go play”  “Don’t wander off too far” the mom replied (walking on the path through the village, greeting the old lady who is always nice to him and her grandchildren. Heading towards a small forest)  “This path is always the worst” the boy said (emerges a cliff with a view of a big lake and some mountains and trees. ~wind blowing~)

“This is more like it, this cool air that hits your face and gives you the feeling of relaxation, I’ll just sleep for a little, I won’t be late.”. , said the boy with his eyes slowly closing. “NO I TOLD YOU ALREADY THAT HE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO ENVRIKA, DO YOU SEE HIS WHITE HAIR! YOU SAID THAT THE ABNORMAL WHITE HAIR COLOR THAT RUNS IN YOUR FAMILY WOULDN’T AFFECT MY CHILD BECAUSE YOU DON’T HAVE WHITE HAIR! Tch people will think that you had an affair with someone else if I bring him to ENVRIKA, he’s better off dead, where is he!!!” The man yelled. “He’s not here right now, he went outside” the mother said in a shaky voice. “You lying bitch, do you think you can fool me? Now, where in the hell is he” the man said angrily. (The boy hiding in a wardrobe covering his mouth trying not to make any noises) (The man burst opens the door which the kid is hiding in) “Where are you, you damn brat!” The man said. “Don’t do anything to him please!” the mother shouts as tears run down her eyes. *Heep* (the boy had made a slight sound) “I found you, you brat” the man said, (He pulls out his dagger from its scabbard and opens the wardrobe and grabs the boys hand as he starts crying) “Dad why are you doing this to me” the boy said. (The “Dad” swings his dagger diagonally aiming for the boys neck) *Thud* (The boy screams in pain) “Please stop, don’t do anything else to him” the mother said. (The mother had sprinted as soon as the “Father” had swung, making it in time before he had killed the boy, unfortunately she was a bit late, blood was running down the boys left eye which has him screaming and crying in pain) “Please don’t harm him anymore” the mother said. (The “Father” stepped back) “Tch you dumb bitch, I got his eye that way he’ll never be able to properly to do anything especially wielding a weapon. This will be your only warning, I don’t ever want to see him or even hear about him, your lucky that I haven’t killed you both” The father said. (The “Father” leaves the house and is awaited by a dozen soldiers who have his horse prepared, he mounts his horse and rides off) “It’s alright Ian, mommy’s here” says the mother. *Gasp* ( Ian wakes up sweating profoundly and breathing heavily) “That dream again” Ian says as he touches his scar. “Oh crap how much time has passed” (The sun starting to set) “Damn, I’m screwed, Mom is gonna kill me for sure” (Ian gets up and is hit by a strong smell of smoke that the wind had carried) *Whiff* “This is the smell of smoke…MOM!” (He rushes out of the forest and is met by a scene of various houses on fire) “What happened” the boy said in a shaky voice. (He sprints towards the direction of the house and all that can be heard is the screaming and crying of men, women, and children.) “Please be alright mom” the boy said in his head as he approaches his house. (Once he arrived at his house he realized his house was the only one that wasn’t on fire and one thought came to him) “Somebody’s in our house” Ian thought to himself. (He quickly opens the door and is met by a traumatic scene, his mother is in the air being grabbed by the throat by a man and has a sword through her stomach) “mom…mom….MOM!” Ian said at the top of his lungs. (Ian runs and try’s to tackle the man) “Let my Mom go, you bastard” Ian said. “Huh, “bastard”? Who do you think you’re calling a bastard you fucking child! I’m a knight who serves the Envrika kingdom” the man said.

(The man kicks Ian and Ian is sent flying and hits his head on the table almost making him lose consciousness. The mother coughs blood in an attempt to speak) “Ian…run *coughs blood* run…away” the mother said “What you’re still alive? Guess I’ll give you another stab” the man said…excitedly. (The man pulls out the sword out of her stomach and the mother is screaming in pain as he is preparing to stab her again).       (Ian ~whispers~) “…you’re…not.. a…knight..you’re…a…monster” (just as the man was about to swing, he stops) “Huh, what did you say?” the man said. (The man drops Ian’s mother, he approaches Ian and lowers himself to better hear Ian) “Why don’t you say that again you fucking peasant” the man said (Ian was able to grab a knife that had fallen off the table when he collided with it and he was waiting for a chance just like this) “YOU’RE NOT A KNIGHT YOU’RE A MONSTER” Ian shouted (Ian lunges and aims for the throat of the man, the man is unfazed and swiftly grabs Ian’s hand) “Did you really think that you would be able to catch me by surprise?” The man said with a smirk on his face. (He kicks Ian again and Ian too coughs up blood as he is gasping for air) “Please….stop….he’s...all..I…have” the mother said crying as she presses down on her stomach which is rapidly loosing blood. “Oh I almost forgot about you, shall we continue where we left off?” (The man approaches Ian’s mother and raises his sword to stab her but he is abruptly interrupted when a soldier enters the house) “Commander Evan we are done killing all the villagers” said the soldier. “Tch, what did I say about calling me by my name, it’s commander to you, you dumbass. I’m almost done here too just give me a minute” Evan said. “Yes Commander!” The solider said. “Wait that reminds me, didn’t you say in the report that there is a cliff just up ahead of here?” Evan said. “Yes that is Correct commander” the soldier said. “Hmm, I guess I’ll give you two a heartwarming death. You two can both fall to your deaths, how about that? Hey dimwit follow me” Evan said. “Yes Commander” the soldier said (Evan grabs Ian’s mother by the hair and Ian by the wrist and drags them to the location of the cliff, on the way their Ian sees the various bodies on the floor, the grass dyed in blood, he turns his head the other way but is met by a severed head of a child on the ground. Ian quickly recognizes the face as it is the granddaughter of the grandma,Ian almost vomits) “Wow it’s far” Evans says. (Evan stops in front of the small forest) “You know what, hey dumbass!” Evan said. “Yes Commander?” The solider said. “Just keep going straight from here and you’ll probably see the cliff once you make it to the other side, take these two and throw them off the cliff” Evan said. “Understood commander” the soldier said. (The soldier grabs both Ian and his mother and drags them through the small forest) “The commander always leaves the hard work to me, I swear one day I’ll kill him, ahh who am I kidding what can I do to him. But certainly these two are resilient especially this woman, I’m surprised she’s still breathing.” The soldier said. (The soldier eventually makes it to the other side of the forest) “Wow, what a view. It might be better than the view in the Saseeme Kingdom. Well I guess I should just roll both of you off at the same time so you could die together ” the soldier said. (The soldier brings them to the edge of the cliff and is slowly rolling them together and as they’re on the edge, Ian with the last bit of strength he has, he grabs the soldier by the leg) “Ahh what the fuck are you doing you bitch” (Ian pulls the soldier with him and all three of them fall down while the soldier screams, but with the last bit of strength Ian’s mother has she casts a wind spell to reduce the speed of their landing as they approach the ground but the soldier is met by a sharp pointy boulder which pierces his stomach while Ian and his mother safely meet the ground with Ian losing consciousness. Evan heard the screams of the soldier and makes his way quickly through the forest) “Hey, what happened!” Evan shouted ( He makes it through the small forest and looks down the cliff and ends up…laughing?) “Hahaha what a dumbass I can’t believe you died with them, well from the looks of it he got the job done and it doesn’t matter even if one person dies. My work here is done, I better start preparing to leave” Evan says. (Evan leaves the scene and makes his way back to the destroyed village.) “Ian…Ian…IAN!” the mother says at deaths doors. (Ian opens his eyes) “Mom!” Ian shouts. “I’m sorry I wasn’t able to protect you, mom is very sorry but I want you to know that I love you and will always love you” Mother says while tears run down her cheeks. “Mom, I love you…I love you too” Ian says trying to contain his tears. “I’m sorry Ian, it appears that I don’t have much time left *coughs blood*” the mother says.  “No, don’t say that, everything will be alright mom, I just need to find some help. IS ANYBODY OUT THERE! PLEASE MY MOM NEEDS HELP!” Ian shouts. “Ian, I’m sorry that this had to happen just a few days before your birthday *coughs blood* but I want to wish you an early birthday” the mother says. (clouds start to appear and block out the little sunlight that is left) “Mom save your energy! I just need to find help. PLEASE MY MOM NEEDS HELP! ANYBODY!” Ian shouts. “Ian I’m sorry that I don’t get to see you grow up and accomplish great things but remember that whatever path you choose I’ll always be by your side. Aww man I wanted to see you get married and have your own kids and then I would be a grandma and I’ll be carrying them. *coughs blood* I’m truly sorry Ian but remember to keep moving forward and live the way you want” the mother says. (The warmth of her hands slowly start becoming cold) “mom…MOM! Don’t do this to me please…mom. ANYBODY! PLEASE ANYBODY…..please help me” Ian says unable to hold his tears back anymore. *Thunder*  (Ian’s screams and crying are blocked by the sound of thunder and rain) “I’LL KILL HIM (his father) I’LL KILL HIM AND ANYBODY THAT STANDS IN MY WAY”  Ian shouts. (A pool of blood is shown behind Ian)

Losing one’s mother is equivalent to losing one’s world, there’s no better place than in the arms of your mother, the feeling of warmth and safeness can’t be compared. Ian’s path has already been set and it truly is a harsh and bloody path he will walk.
