David first moved his hand towards the rock and the rock started floating but fell back on the table after two seconds. David's parents as well as his brothers were shocked by this development because it was a solid dry rock how did it react to David whose quirk was supposed to react to only air and water.

"Doctor what is the meaning of this" Sally asked the doctor while the others turned their heads towards the doctor

David put is hand near the lit candle but he didnt feel any burning sensation so he moved his hand closer to the fire and suddenly the fire started to spread on his index finger and he wasnt feeling any discomfort even after taking his hand away the fire kept swaying on his finger. David tried to blow out the fire but nothing happened so the doctor suggested him to think about extinguishing the fire and the fire suddenly got absorbed inside the skin of his finger.

"The finger shows no sign of burns or any redness. Okay David next item" the doctor said while inspecting David's finger

David had already created Water tornado but even air was inbued in it which is why the doctor was sure about David can control water and air

David put his hand above the bowl of water and after a couple of seconds droplets of water began to rise in the air. The doctor told David to put his hand inside the bowl and think about turning the water into ice, but when david tried that the water became cold and only a think layer of frost was visible from the sides. The doctor checked David's hand and noticed that his hands werent cold at all.

Then david put his hand near the bulb but nothing happened. Then David concentrated a bit harder than usual and the bulb lit very brightly and then burst making everyone flinch. The doctor looked at David as if seeing a monster then gave a heavy sigh and stood up

"Mr and Mrs Carter now what i am about to tell you is very important and i dont want this information to leave this room. Your son has just obtained his quirk and its already reacting to 5 elements. God knows what will happen in the future but if this information is in the hands of the wrong people it could put a target on his back. So i would like to suggest you to just enter two elements in the database and we ll show that one element is dominant while the other one isnt. 'I cant keep fire and ice as it would be a copy of todorki , i'll keep air and fire as air will mainly give me mobility and fire will be offense'

"Dad i agree with doctor uncle i would like to keep fire as my dominant one and air as my secondary one. But i can practice all elements at home, right?. I want to become a hero." he asked while looking with puppy eyes at the doctor and then at his mother

"Yes ofcource as when u reach age 12 and above you can start using other quirks openly as well and if any1 asks then tell them it bloomed late " the doctor said while taking out some papers from his drawer and handing it to Sally.

"George and James go sit with David outside while we complete all formalities" James said as the three brothers walked out of the cabin.

After everything was done the Carter family reached home and both the parents were quiet while silently glancing at David from time to time. First thing they did after reaching home was to hold a meeting in the basement of the house which is completely soundproof as it is made for James to practice his quirk.

"Ok now all three of you know what to tell when anyone asks about David's quirk. And David it is a crime to use a quirk in public and even when you use the other elements make sure that no one is watching you" John said with a serious expression to which everyone else nodded.

Then suddenly Sally hugged David tightly "Oh my lovely boy i am glad and worried at the same time as you have acquired such a powerful quirk."

'The less the outside world knows about my quirk the better' David thought while reminding his parents about the martial arts training.

Sally and John agreed as they thought the more he improves and uses his physical strength in public the less he is required to activate his quirk
