Boredom Leads To Lorddom

Boredom Leads To Lorddom

D "Are you ready"

L "Yep"

D "Welp, here we go"

Dubai and Lobbi were bored with their lives just a few days ago. But all that changed when they enrolled in Jung-Do, the world's most famous and prestigious martial arts academy. At first they thought it was just a pipe dream. They thought that a place of that caliber would not accept them, as they did not have jobs or any type of training in martial arts what-so-ever. But they were dead wrong. After a quick search on the web, it was revealed to them that folks like them are the ones that Jung-Do was made for. Heck, being a student there was free of charge, the same can not be said of college or university.

They had just got done with telling their friends and family that they would be gone for about 3 years. Their family and friends wished them a great time there. Unlike most martial art academies or schools in general, Jung-Do is located right in the heart of the Ninjiokioki, Ymmotdelrow's vast jungle. This makes regular trips to-and-fro very difficult, so Jung-Do opted for a boarding school approach. Since Jung-Do is where it is at, the two of them had to take a bus to the edge of Ninjiokioki.

When they boarded the bus they noticed that they were the only other passengers. They thought it was kind of weird, but liked the peace of being alone on the bus. Lobbi fell asleep, as he knew the trip would be a few hours. Dubai thought about sleeping, but was too excited to properly fall asleep.

After a few hours, the bus ride was finally over. The driver had parked right in front of what looked to be a crude trail leading into the jungle. Dubai grabbed what little stuff he had and quickly went to the exit. Just before he got off, he looked back and saw Lobbi lightly sleeping.

D: "Lobbi! Wake up, we are finally here."

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.

L: "Oh! We are!?! Sorry."

Lobbi, embarrassed, quickly stood up and walked to the front of the bus where Dubai was. The bus driver looked deeply into the jungle and felt a great worry and disbelief about two of his passengers heading in there seemingly without any tools or help.

B: “Woah! Looks like you two have quite a walk in there by your lonesomes. Anything I can do to help you two? Heck, I could drive you in there if need be.

D: No, we have an escort to take us in there. He should be around the corner or something to that extent.”

B:”Ok. Just looking out for you. Well you guys have a wonderful time, you hear.”

D+L: “Thanks! You too!”

The bus slowly pulled away, leaving them to look for their Escort. He was nowhere to be seen. They headed to what looked to be a booth of some sort, hoping to find him there, but to no avail. Just when they thought they might have to wait all day, the escort appeared from the jungle and approached them.

E: Hello! You must be our new students.”

L:”Yup.”

E:”You too?’

D:”Yes.”

E:”Alright. What are your name, if you don’t mind.”

D:"Dubai Blatworth."

E:”Ok.”

L:”Lobbi Lobber.”

E:”Well...you two seem to be on my roster. Alright then, let me introduce myself. I am John Aroyuun, the Jung-Do escort and I am pleased to be your escort today...and tomorrow.”

Dubai and Lobbi both had a slight look of confusion as they thought the trip to the center of Ninjiokioki would only take a few hours at most.

E: I know, I can see it in your faces that you guys thought the trip through the jungle was only going to be a few hours. Ninjiokioki is around 1,383.38 miles in diameters. Since we will be only going to the center, our trip will be around 692 miles. Add that to the fact that we will be only going around 15 miles per hour for safety. That will make for a trip of about 2 days. I have a moped over near that booth, that will be our ride. Well, what are you waiting for?
