A world where the once lively surface was reduced to nothing more than the remains of the great war against the Arks. A powerful race created for nothing more other than the destruction of the world and to create a new world.
During the great war a majority of the Arks had been killed off, however some still managed to survive and they do still exist in this day and age.
The surface became unhabitable, crops could no longer grow and there was no longer a place to call home. 90% of the world's population had died because of that, however in this desperate time people soon found out about the existence of 'Cloudbeasts'.
These beasts float above the clouds and people realized they could actually live on them, so all the survivors did. Centuries have passed since that time and cities and towns have been built on top of these Cloudbeasts, some even just built there towns inside the Cloudbeasts.
However among all these there was a smaller Cloudbeast, with only 1 inhabitant. Her name was Sasha, she is a beautiful lady that is gentle and kind, and had a soft tone each time she spoke.
She built a small room for herself on top of the Beast's back, and although it looked broken down it managed to last her through many years. It is an impressive feat, being able to create a room while blind and without falling off the Cloudbeast takes more skill than one would think.
The sun began to rise, The cloudbeast roared to signal the start of the day. Hearing the loud roar Sasha slowly opened her eyes and sat right up on the bed which was made out of metal barrels.
"What a lovely morning" She said softly, it was NOT a lovely morning but rather gloomy as it was going to rain soon, But she could not see it.
She got off her bed and prepared for her day, she's been repeating the same routine for may years already and each day still manages to put of a smile somehow. She wore simple adveturers clothing, she also wore a dark green cloak to cover her body, and lastly she wore a black blindfold made out of a torn cloth.
Although not being able to see at all she can still hear and touch, these two things help her move quite well.
She made her way outside her room, she was always carefull when she walked since she was walking on the back of a Cloudbeast. On the left side she had a small garden, many pots full of dirt with seeds which have grown into lovely vegetables and fruits. She crouched down and began to pluck the vegetables and fruits off from its roots and put them in her nearby basket to bring.
She hummed a nice calm tune while doing this, it was a relaxing thing to do for her. She soon finished and her basket was full of fruits and vegetables. She held the basket in hand and stood up.
"CB can you take me to Strumsvaha?" She asked the Cloudbeast softly, the cloudbeast roared and began to make its way there.
The surrounding area was nothing more than clouds and more clouds, but it still looked stunning, There was always one thing that made no sense however. That being the dark storm in the centre, no one knew what was inside and no one ever came back after trying to enter.
It was impossible to see what was inside the storm from afar as the strong wind kept spinning the clouds around the area, blocking anyones vision, but this never mattered to Sasha anyway.
Soon enough they were already close to Strumsvaha. A large trade guild where people could trade, eat, sleep and transfer money. It was one of the first locations created after the war which is why it is so famous now.
The cloudbeast soon reached the docks and aligned itself perfectly so she would have no problem stepping onto the platform. Before leaving she crouched and placed her placed her hand on the back of the cloudbeast.
"Thank you CB" she said in her usual soft tone and smile, she hopped off of CB and landed onto the wooden platform before making her way inside the crowded trade guild.
There were so many people of all kinds of races, demons, elfs, humans and many more.
In this large place Sasha runs a small little food stall in the corner which was always overshadowed by everything else.
The only thing that made it noticeble to others was the bizzare colour choices made, the colours did not match the area at all and people often ridiculed it and mocked it. Even though it was those people that 'helped' pick a colour for Sasha.
As she began to make her way to the stall some people gave her looks of disgust, some bumped into her on purpose, some try to make her trip, many make spiteful comments about her, And yet she kept on enduring each of these actions with a simple smile.
Her little stall had 3 chairs and one long counter to eat on like a bar, right behind the counter is where Sasha would cook. It was made like this so she could easily tell which order goes where.
She reached her stall and sat down behind the counter and waited...

Hours would pass and no one would come, those who noticed would instantly turn away, they all hated her for a reason she believed is justified.
Sasha is an Ark herself this was made obvious as each Ark has a black mark on the left side of their face, these marks would glow different colours and each colour had a meaning. Sasha's mark never glowed and she wants it to stay that way as she simply wanted to live a somewhat normal life.
But this would be difficult when so many people hated her and some even wanted her dead. There was really no point of even leaving her spot open, she could simply live her life alone in peace. However she constantly hears tales on how great the other races are and while the people she met are not kind in the slightest, she believes that maybe someone will be kind to her.
As she was deep in her thoughts she was instantly brought back to reality after hearing a loud Thud, she stood up before greeting her customer.
"Welcome, what would you like to get today sir?" Sasha said, she already knew who this person would be.
"The usual" The man responded in his tired tone, this man was Sasha's one and only customer he wore damaged armor and would always place his large greatsword against the counter.
"Coming right up sir" She responded, Sasha really only served up one thing only: Vertuseka.
Vertuseka is a cold dessert made with shaved ice as the base and would be drizzled with A blended fruit and vegetable to create a nice sweet dessert.
Sasha finished making the Vertuseka and placed the bowl infront of the man, it was presented in a wooden bowl with a wooden spoon beside it.
"Enjoy it sir" Sasha said, soon enough she heard him picking up the spoon and eating the dessert, she wondered what he looked like and why he always sounded tired, but she believed he was most likely just an average adventurer travelling from Cloudbeast to Cloudbeast and slaying whatever monster he was paid to kill.
Suddenly the munching stopped, she heard the spoon being placed on the bowl and could hear it being placed on the ice, so she was confused on why he put the spoon down when he was not done yet.
"Why do you continue to do this Ma'am?" He asked.
"What do you mean sir?" Sasha replied curiously.
"Ma'am this dessert you create is delicious and yet no one ever comes here, not only that but they continue to mock you and make fun of you for who you are" he stated.
"Well you like my dessert right?" Sasha said.
"Well yes bu-"
"Then that is enough for me" She said, the man could only stay silent with a small blush on his face for a bit not knowing how to respond to this.
"What face are you making sir?" She asked, in a bit more of a teasing manner.
"I-im not..." the man said which was a lie.
"Is there really nothing i can do to convince to atleast relocate?" He sighed.
"No sir" she responded, her smile was so pure it had the man blushing, it's a shame she can't see it though. He picked up his spoon again and continued to eat the dessert, he has come to this stall for 2 years already and still has no idea what her name is, and she has no idea what his name is. But the man believed it was dor the best.
He finished his dessert and gave her the 3 silver coins he needed to pay before preparing to leave.
"Just be careful okay Ma'am?" He said, seemingly worried about her.
"Of course sir, have a safe trip!" She responded, and soon he began to walk away, each step getting harder to hear.
"What a kind man he is" she mumbled to herself, she grabbed the bowl and spoon and began to wash it.
As the day continued she hummed a soft tune while waiting for any other customer to come, but of course none came. The hours pass quickly and Sasha could soon heae footsteps getting closer, she was quite surpised that someone came to her little stall, but was also excited to have another customer.
As soon as the footsteps stopped she quicly stood up from her seat.
"Welcome sir, what would you lik-"
"Ma'am by any chance is your name Sasha?" The man cut her off, it sounded as if he spoke through a mask, this was not common at all so she was a little more cautious about him.
"Uhm yes sir why do you ask?" She responded, she still held the wooden bowl just incase something happens.
"Ma'am you need to come with me" he responded, Sasha wa snow fully on edge, she had to think about just who in the world this person is.
"May i ask why Sir?" She asked, she needed to stretch out the conversation for as long as possible to get an idea on who it was.
"That will not be possible Ma'am as it is private information" He responded, Sasha brgan to hear lots of marching, it seemed like there was a lot of people entering the area.
"A soldier..." she thought to herself, The breathing from the mask would make sense as there is an army that had soldiers using mask.
It belonged to one of the more powerful Cities called 'Ouros' they were quite well known for being allegedly corrupt but since there was no real evidence nothing ever happened.
"Ma'am?" The soldier asked, Sasha stayed silent thinking about what her next move should be. The people that were marching were probably soldiers from Ouros aswell, and if they reached Sasha she would most likely be taken by force.
"Before we leave may i take my basket with me?" Sasha asked.
"...i suppose that's fine" he responded,Sasha crouched down and reached for her basket slowly.
"Ma'am hurry it u-" Sasha quickly threw the wooden bowl right at the soldier's face as hard as she could.
"ACK!" He groaned, Sasha grabbed her basket and ran for it, she quickly tried to run towards the docks where CB is only to hear the marching getting louder. Sasha realized the soldiers arrived from the same dock she came from, she then heard the footsteps of the soldiers she hit come running at her.
"Get her everyone!" He shouted at the soldiers, Sasha quickly ran past that one soldier and ran once more, but this time it would be much hard as now she had many more soldiers chasing after her, She began to hear gunfire and knew they were trying to shoot her down.
She needed to get to the 3rd floor of Strumsvaha as that had the second docks which also had the public ships which was her only method of escape right now.
Sasha was still confused why they wanted to capture her but knew that it was not for a good reason.
She jumped over multiple stalls and crates to try and lose the soldiers but they kept on chasing her down. Sasha managed to reach the second floor and dashed towarda the last pair of stairs she had to go up.
"Almost..there..." She panted, she was so close to reaching that stairs, Until she was suddenly kicked straight into the wall from the side. Sasha winced in pain her right arm was badly hurt and using it anymore could worsen it's condition.
"You shouldn't have tried that Ark" a lady said, she sounded powerful and she was emitting a powerful Aura, sasha could feel it and was worried about this.
Sasha tried to get up but it just hurt too much, one of her bones was probably broken but she could not tell which one. The soldiers finally managed to catch up and were all tired and panting, until they saw Their captain.
"C-captain Vershina? What brings you here Ma'am?" One of the soldiers asked, all of the soldiers quickly stood up straight, the captain sighed questioning just how these fools failed to catch a lady.
"Since this mission was so incredibly important i was given a direct order to capture the Ark aswell" She replied.
"I-i see Ma'am" The soldier replied, they were all nervous of her presence.
"Well what are you standing for!? Go and secure her Cloudbeast you fools!" She ordered.
"Y-yes Ma'am!" All the soldiers quickly made their way to the first floor, leaving only Sasha and the captain. The captain slowly aproached Sasha before getting down on her level.
"...interesting..." she said while forcefully holding Sasha's face.
"What colour is your mark?" The captain asked,Sasha stayed silent not planning on letting up so easily. Without warning the captain punched Sasha in the gut which made Sasha almost puke.
"I said what what colour is your mark?" She pressed on about the mark, The captain's grip on Sasha's face was getting tighter.
"I dont know" Sasha replied.
"I see..." the captain said before letting go of Sasha's face, Sadha sighed in relief only to be swiftly knocked out by the captain in one swift kick.
The soldiers soon returned to the 2nd floor after they took CB away from Strumsvaha.
"Take this Ark with us" the captain ordered.
"Yes Ma'am!" The soldiers cuffed Sasha's hand before taking her away to their ship.
