The priest stepped to the side letting them in, standing by the door as they entered.
Priest - these 4 will be having a reunion with the king and they will need fitting clothes for the occasion, they will need to be finished by tonight.
Owner - of course, but with such a tight schedule it will cost you more.
Priest - there's no problem!
Each one stood forward as the owner and his wife took their measures.
Daniel - (whispering) what's that thing on you wrist?
Mitch - this is my weapon, i didn't unsummon it completely just in case something happened.
Hopefully Daniel would fall for a bluff like that, instead of him sounding like an incompetent that couldn't even summon and unsummon his weapon like the rest of em.
Daniel - isn't that thing kinda heavy?
Mitch - not really it is actually quite light like this.
Owners wife - could you step forward now please?
Mitch - sure.
They walked around him measuring his gut, his legs and every other body part that would define what they needed to cut.
Owner - could you take out that bracelet?
Mitch - unfortunately no, and i would like to talk with you about it later for a small modification
Owner - you’re all quite tall, are you all family?
Priest - if you wouldn't min…(being interrupted)
Ana - excuse me, you’re being nosey, you shouldn't ask questions!
Both owner - we are very sorry it was not our intentions to anger you.
They quickly finished taking measures without a sound.
They showed them a variety of materials from which they would make their clothes, they ultimately chose to make clothes of the same style and color for all of them, the girls would be wearing a long dress and a jacket, with the first one being beige and the later one in light brown, and both guys would be wearing suits colored in a dark brown for the jacket and pants, and a white shirt that would be underneath.
As the priest talked with the owner for the final details, Mitch walked closer to the owners wife.
Mitch - ma'am would you do me one last favor?
Owners wife - yes? What is it
Mitch - could you make sure the left sleeve has buttons running across it, because i can't take this bracelet off you see.
Owners wife- of course don't worry.
She gave him a warm smile and they left the shop as the couple inside pulled out the materials to start their work.
Ines - what are we doing now? Because this is getting really boring. When do we start being heroes and fighting and what not?
Priest - most aren't that excited about that, prospect of it. But to you answer, its soon , in around 2 days you will be sent to train and become more powerful, you will mostly stay divided while fighting the waves so don't become dependant on one another.
They walked down the street into a shoe shop to end their shopping needs, the workers inside had premade shoes that could be adjusted for whatever size they needed before giving the final stitches.
The soles were made from a thick rubber and the shoes were of almost pitch black leather.
They finished shopping before noon being taken back to the castle.
Ines - so, what are we doing now? We’re only supposed to meet the “nobles” by tomorrow.
Priest - we will start combat preparations and training until the night but first lunch.
As they walked into the banquet room mitch remembered the breakfast they had eaten earlier that day.
A light soup and just baked bread still hot and soft, mitch had thought it to be a bit odd so he had asked if there was milk, to which the maids asked if he was sick, apparently no one drank milk a

unless he was heavily sick or recovering from injuries.
Too bad since mitch actually hated soup, but after a bit he tried it, and it turned out not to be so bad, it was a thick soup with pieces of soft meat floating and a slightly spicy taste to it that he couldn't quite explain.
And now for dinner they were having a plate filled with long pale blue carrot/beet looking things boiled and sliced and a well done steak covered in sauce.
Daniel - is there something without meat?
Mitch - wait you're vegetarian?
Daniel - well, yeah i think you are the odd ones eating meat.
Mitch - i don't wanna be that guy but, you do realise the soup you ate this morning had meat in it, right?
At that sentence Daniel turned white as paper, he was freaking out at what he had just heard.
Daniel - you think eating meat is a joke to me, it is a heavy sin from where i come from.
Ines - wait don't tell me you didn't know.
A toothy smile appeared on her face as she held herself from saying anything else.
Ana - oh lord, how did you not know you were eating meat?!
Daniel - i didn't know there was meat in there how was i supposed to know i thought it was just a bunch of vegetables.
After a lot of absolute silence and some plate switching they ate their meals (with a more vegetarian option) and were taken into a library like room.
Priest - i'll leave you here with your “teachers”, good luck~★.
Mitch - that sounded really death flag like! You're not setting us up are you?!
Priest - bye!
Ines - you motherfucker!
The priest slammed the door shut
Further down the room stood two people, a woman that appeared to be on her thirties wearing a large necklace and a long robe that hid the rest of her outfit and by her side sitting atop the table an older man almost on his forties with a moustache and well armored, glanced at them before tapping the shoulder of the first one.
Warrior dood - psst, hey get up, they're here.
They walked towards the heroes in wide steps, as the floorboards creaked under the weight of the heavily armored man.
Warrior dood - hello im Nigel and i was requested to be your instructor in combat.
…
Warrior dood - come on Carol say something!
Carol - (with a very raspy voice) sorry kids i'm going to be your magic instructor but i have a bit of a sore throat at the moment.
These people were complete opposites as Nigel had a goofy smile plastered across his face and Carol the face of someone who suffered from chronic depression.
Heroes - nice to meet you.
Carol - (yawn), lets get this started, first we’ll get you examined for what your job is and what you may be good at, you come here so i can appraise you!
She had pointed towards Ana that had been standing slightly aside from everyone else as usual.
Carol placed Ana’s hand between both of hers.
Carol - accountant and a mixed aptitude.
Mitch - ¿accountant? Shes gonna calculate her enemies to death?!
Carol - in combat it's quite good, calculating every move not to waste extra energy.
Ana -humpf, don't underestimate me, Ditch!
Mitch- its Mitch!
Coral - alright, calm down, there will be plenty of fighting, no need to start now.
Hey red head you're next.
Daniel - alright.
Coral - simbiotist, pretty good magic affinity too, you'll be quite helpful, not that fighters won't give their fair share of support. Hey, mitch was it, come!
He raised his left hand only to have his “glove” yell onto his mind at the last moment.
Morpho - use the other arm, dont make her appraise me!
Mitch lowered his hand and used his right instead.
Coral - ok, lets see. Huum? You have a status modifying ability or something, because your stat screen makes no sense, could you try opening it yourself?
Mitch - i don't know how you do it?
Nigel - just focus on it and it should open.
Imaginist.

Mitch - Done it, what now.
Coral - Can you tell me what you see?
Mitch quickly repeated his stat screen out loud before being interrupted by her.
Coral - so it even shows up like that to you, must be a skill given by your god. Let me check… yup, here it is pathmaker , those unspent points are from your stats, apparently you decide where they go, you can choose to take any path or have any affinity.
Mitch - hey Ana, suck it!
Ana turned away from him and whispered.
Ana - filthy peasants.
Morpho - pss, hey cunt focus.
Mitch stepped back and tried talking to his glove while Inês took her shot at being appraised.
Mitch - what?
Morpho - spend all your points in intelligence no holding back.
Mitch - why?
Morpho - JUST ...FAKIN …DO IT!
Mitch - alright! Fine i'll do it.
Coral - and finnaly, a punisher, and of course almost all of your affinity would go strength, you have a pretty good dexterity too.
Nigel - so now that we set out the basics, who is ready for some combat!
