"WHAT?!"
An ear-shattering roar verberates through the room as Mountain yells at Ryan in disbelief of what he just said. Ryan winces in pain as Mountain might have burst one of his eardrums. With the ringing in his ears finally fading away, Ryan puts up a hand to stop Mountain from saying anything else.
"I'm not sure if I am the last Abyss Watcher. There could be others, but yes I am an Abyss Watcher."
With hearing that Mountain has calmed down a little bit. He is proud of himself for discovering the newbies secret. Now knowing that his suspicions have been confirmed, Mountain is ready to ask Ryan what he wanted too to begin with.
"So, have you found yourself a team yet?"
Ryan gives Mountain a confused face as he has no idea what Mountain is talking about. Mountain assumes that Tio had informed Ryan what teams are but he is wrong.
"Well, it seems you don't know what a team is. A team is basically a group of people you do jobs with on a daily basis. The team goes under a special name that sets them apart from other teams."
Ryan easily guessed what a team is since he had one back in the first Cinder Souls but he didn't know if it is different here or not so he played dumb.
"No, I have not found a team yet. Why, do you want me to join yours?" Ryan asks.
Mountain smiles at Ryan and shakes his head no.
"I want to join whatever team you create and or join. Being from Farron it will be an honor to follow you into battle."

Mountain bows his head to show respect to Ryan because he really is a living legend at the moment. Ryan thinks about how to approach this situation because you never want to get attached to a set of NPCs since they die easily but the people in this world seem stronger, smarter, and more independent. Ryan ends up on the conclusion that having a team will be an ideal situation and Mountain will make a good addition to it.
"Alright, I'll ask Tio about getting our team made. If you have any recommendations for people to join us then I would like to hear them later, for now, I'm going to go get something to eat."
Mountain is beaming with excitement as he nods and lets Ryan go get some breakfast. Ryan walks to the back of the cafeteria and walks up to a window that leads into the kitchen. He peers into the window and sees a short, burly man in the kitchen stirring a pot. Ryan goes to get his attention but the dwarf puts up his hand to make sure Ryan doesn't say a word. The dwarf takes his wooden spoon and puts it up to his mouth, sipping the stew inside of it to make sure the taste was up to par.
The dwarf smiles at the food he has just made and picks up the put by the handles. The mittens on his hands are stretching from the fact his hands barely fit inside of them. He walks from the fire the pot was over to the window Ryan is standing at. Once there, the dwarf walks up a small set of stairs to where he is able to see through the window and serve food to people. He sets the pots down and pulls out a bowl from an area that is not visible to Ryan. He gently pours some beef stew into the bowl and hands it to Ryan.
"Thank you."
"No problem newbie, I'm Gim. If you are ever hungry then just come to me!"
"Alright, thank you Gim!"
Ryan goes to the nearest wooden table and sits down. He goes to eat some of his stew and notices he doesn't have a spoon. He turns back towards the kitchen and can see a spoon fly through the air and Ryan catches it with ease. Ryan sees Gim give him a toothy smile and Ryan smiles back.
'What a nice guy. I feel like I'll like it here.'
It isn't long before Ryan has completely devoured his food since he hasn't eaten anything since he has come to this world. The food soothes him completely and causes Ryan to feel warm on the inside. Now with eating off of his to-do list. He has many other things to do today.
