CHAPTER 24: The Final Stand

The sky darkened as gods emerged, unleashing their fury upon the world. Irmin stood amidst the chaos, watching in horror as the deities began their destruction. A voice echoed in his mind, the voice of the Seven Shades: Death (Egeria), Life (Orobashi), Time (Asaroth), Space (Decarabian), War (Morax), Eternity (Chi), and Infinity (Mih).

He turned, and there they were, standing before him. "How are you still alive?" he asked, bewildered.

Morax, the God of War, stepped forward. "Egeria helped us cheat death... temporarily."

Chi, the Goddess of Eternity, added, "We are here to seal back the other gods."

Irmin nodded, gratitude evident in his eyes. "Thank you for your help. Now, I need to assist Nathen."

Decarabian, the God of Space, placed a hand on Irmin's head. "Now you can travel vast distances... Go help your brother."

With a nod, Irmin teleported to Nathen's side. He arrived to find Asmodey gaining the upper hand. "NATHEN...!!" he shouted, kicking Asmodey square in the face.

Asmodey looked at Irmin, surprise turning into rage. "You again... I thought Abigale took care of you."

Irmin smirked. "Well, he's no more."

The brothers moved in unison, attacking Asmodey from both sides. Nathen punched right while Irmin punched left. Nathen kicked Asmodey's right waist as Irmin kicked the left. Their coordinated strikes left Asmodey reeling, unable to comprehend where the next blow would come from.

Irmin slashed Asmodey's back with his axe, echoing Nathen's earlier strike. Nathen seized Asmodey by the neck and hurled him into the air. The brothers leaped, attacking continuously with their weapons, pouring all their power into each blow. Asmodey could only feel pain, his mind overwhelmed by the relentless assault.

The Seven Shades arrived to assist, each adding their strength to the onslaught. Together, they ensured Asmodey felt every inch of his body in agony, making him pay for his deeds. Nathen and Irmin ascended higher into the sky and then crashed down upon Asmodey, their weapons slicing his body in half.

Breathing heavily, the brothers looked at each other and laughed, relief washing over them. They had won. It was finally over.

Sahaqiel, Gobo, Kahari, and Scion ran to them, embracing them tightly. Sahaqiel looked at the Seven Shades and bowed. Asaroth, the Goddess of Time, smiled. "I see you have a new life."

Sahaqiel nodded. "Yes... they are my life."

Asmodey's soul emerged from his vessel, desperate to escape. But Egeria, the God of Death, took control and destroyed it, ensuring Asmodey was no more.

Morax approached Nathen. "It's time to lift the curse that was placed upon you in your previous life."

With a gesture, Morax removed the curse, allowing Nathen to live as a mortal. The Seven Shades agreed to rebuild the kingdoms and establish a new order of peace.

The world, once torn apart by war and chaos, began to heal. The brothers stood together, knowing that their bond had been forged in the fires of battle and strengthened by their love for each other. The era of war had ended, and a new dawn of peace and unity began.
