Dear readers,

I wanted to write a bit of a note regarding the story now that I have finished the first story arc.

This has been my first experience shifting from reader to writer, and so far I've been having a lot of fun with it! I want to thank every one of you who has read the story so far.

Do not worry as I am not planning to stop writing anytime soon. The purpose of this note is to let you know that I will stop posting chapters for about 7-10 days. This is mainly to give me room to flesh out the next story arc and build up a small backlog so that I can make changes if I need to. So far I have been writing and posting chapters almost as soon as they were done, but I want that to change by having a bit of a buffer of 3/4 chapters.

The second main point is that Juniper so far has only been living inside the forest, and the creatures she has encountered thus far have only been monsters (+ one snarky cat). As the story develops, I wish to write more encounters and interactions with other sentient beings, and also have Juniper explore what lies beyond the forest where she was born. This is why during these 7-10 days I will focus heavily on world building, making sure to create a coherent universe for our dragon to have a good time.

All things considered you can expect a new chapter in the weekend of the 23rd, after that I will resume my current schedule of 2/3 chapters per week (Tue, Thu, Sun).

I also wanted to announce that I have created a Discord server for anyone interested in leaving some feedback, suggestions, or simply have a chat about the story! (link at the bottom)
