Chapter Two; Sister in Race?

Chapter Two; Sister in Race?

Iep was genuinly suprised.

First of all things ... Ronn managed to not crash his bike and with it the both of them the entire ride to this village called Bangleton, an action wich surely resembled some sort of miracle, for there could have simply been no way to survive the ride without what seemed to be divine intervention ... The unkempt asphalt road was too bumpy and littered in holes for their speed to succeed afterall but did it not matter now ... Ronn could've or probably must've been a pretty good biker afterall.

Secondly?

She didn't think of Bangleton as a village nearly as pretty as it actually came to be when seen.

As a brief explanation, one could say it had a really old feel to it, located in the countryside and again next to a steep drop into the ocean, the first thing one wold see were pointy roofs wich seemingly managed to tickle the sky as there was a seemingly perfectly round circle of cloudless sky above it .... Bangleton's buildings were mostly two stories high and build on a stone fundament with seemingly carefully crafted wooden walls, support structures built into them in a way that they managed to not look bad and probably still managed to take a beating before giving in to gravity ...

The streets? These were made of probably individually placed small stone slabs of grey colour and the only things wich one could hate about this village as it stood out now?

Either the really olden times feel it gave off or the fact that lanterns were sparsely placed approximatly every 100 meters apart from each other, rendering nighttime visibillity most likely impossible to accomplish without the aid of a good working probably industrial grade flashlight.

Now though, this didn't matter for Iep and Ronn left the Vespa behind after putting the stereo off and strolled off torwards the end of this street, the dude of the two pointing at the house to the far back. It... looked entirely the same to the others except for maybe the garage next to it and ... the massive washed out crayon drawing in the frontyard ... Looking at things... The rocks were still wet, a sign of rain ?

"That's me and mums place ... We also got Pan staying over at the moment, you'd probs like her, she's nice."

"Okay...?"

"Ah yeah.. Nearly forgot you actually only need to make a call .... And then probably whirr off"

"Yeah uhm... I still don't know where or whom to call...to be honest."

Ronn shrugged and pushed a hand down his pants' left pocket, an odd looking way of taking something out of there for sure, especially when all that intially laid in his palm were rest pieces of cloth, later ofcourse his key from wich dangled a fuzzy felt die .... It was quite dirty though... Covered in strings all around.

"Back home, Mum, Pan!"

Ronn dashed off quickly around the next corner and into the room wich probably laid there... A kitchen perhaps because he later returned with two glasses of water, one of which he handed to Iep whilst clumisly chugging down his own.

"Some water, i bet you're thirsty."

Iep though...?

She only took a short sip before coughing and putting it aside, onto the oaken table to her right to be exact!

"T...This is not water.... If it is, then it's straight out of the sewers....

"Uhm... No? What's wrong with it?"

"It tastes nothing like water should!"

And indeed, from Ieps' perspective it tasted not like it should ... More acidic and nausiating, heck it even began to smell bad when set still for a while, something ... rotten mixed with booze and dirt alike.

After her remark she began to get dizzy too, setting one arm onto the table as a means of support, the other hand driving through the red front of hair to get it off her forehead and out her vision to give a clear image of Ronn ... Something gave her the feeling it was him who might've poisoned it ... Why though? She couldn't remember what had happened to her earlier, just that .... suddenly everything seemed so hostile, like even plants were out to get her in this very moment!

"Uhm... Iep ...? You might want to lay down for a moment... You don't look too good right now."

"S-...eh...Totally ... Are you sure you didn't put anything into this ...? Maybe... some pills slipped in...?"

Iep smirked profoundly when suddenly, another third voice broke their raising voices, preventing an argument.

"I'll take her upstairs to rest, Ronn. Also, nope he did not put anything into your water.... It ... uh ... Most be the air, surely."

Coming downstairs and locking hers and Ieps' arms together came who must have been Pan as Ronn called her earlier.

She wore a white dress shirt smeared over with paints of various hues and a skirt, the end of leggings showing at the edge of it's seam.

She was also a bit taller than Iep, with blonde longer hair and ... green eyes ?

This hue of green really did not seem natural but ... There probably were things like rare eyecolours Iep had not heard of whilst getting dragged upstairs and hearing a door smashed into the wall and back to close.

"Rule One. Don't drink anything stinky."

"Rule Two. Don't eat anything stinky."

"Three, --- Trust me about some more special issues ... If you have them yet... and not anyone else. You'll live with me in this room now."

"Hold on... What... I want to go home..."

"Too Bad."

Pan seemed happy when eyeing Iep ... Perhaps she knew about her amnesiac tendencies with mentioning problems? Afterall, she did also seem to know about the problem with that water.

"Chilledren."

"You're my sister in race."

"...... ?"
