On February 9, 2097, our universe collided with another—an event that would be known as the Anabasis for it was an ascension. It seemed as if the universe would tear itself a part but then on March 10, everything settled, and everything and anything awoke to a new reality, a reality vastly different.

Virtually all documented species of flora and fauna, gaining physics-defying abilities that were oddly biological in nature. The state of the world transformed overnight—legendary beasts from mythology were made a reality as inorganic features of the Earth unexplainably came into life, it was fairly adaptable until...

On this day, 760 years ago, obsidian-colored objects fell from the sky, covered in blue lines of fire and pulsating streaks of lightning, followed by a loud boom heard across the entire surface of the world. When they landed, they brought with them... entities of another reality, demons and angels we called them.

For nearly five-hundred years, they waged a war against each other. Humanity and the native denizens of this planet were at their mercy, but then, the Archmage arrived, along with his companions.

Was he an angel? A demon? Or a real god? We do not know. All we know is that the Archmage taught us the way to fight back the demons and the angels, with the art of Magic. With Magic, humanity was now a force to be reckoned with. And we fought the angels and the demons, and after a hundred years of fighting, achieved a victory but not without cost: an estimated three billion human lives were lost.

And in the aftermath of this war, the London Accord was signed between the representatives of the three races, ushering in a new era.
