A sound of panic engulfs the stadium.

At that moment everyone sees a black smoke rising from the right side of the stadium.

Every bird fly out to see from the outside, Josh glance back to check his friend for a moment before following other bird.

“Let’s get out of here first” Eirian remains clam and lead his friend out while try to not get caught with the panic crowd.

'Dammit where did Calamity go?’ Bill tries to look for the grey wolf among a sea of wolf.

As they push through the crowd Amy noticed how Biscuit is being push by other wolf from all side even when she tries to grab Eirian hand so she rushes to cover Biscuit right side “Are you ok?”

“Yes” she nod thanks you.

Seeing that Bill and Eirian also start to form a circle around Biscuit so she feels safer as they walk out.

When they finally squeeze out of stadium a large crowd is gathering on the east side. Many sounds can be heard.

“The storage is completely burn”

“Other bomb”

“At the stadium on numenus day?”

“This is a direct attack on us wolf!”

“Why is the city guard already here? Isn't this too fast? a few birds I can understand but this...” Amy looks at a group of human, ant and goat in city guard uniform trying to put out a fire.

From their dress they aren’t a staff at numenus event but a guard down from fire department.

“They generally work fast but this is indeed too fast” said Biscuit.

“Maybe they already know beforehand that the bomb will go off here” said Eirian.

Eirian word shock his friend but when they think about it, it does make sense. Their investigation might led them to discover something and prepare a guard around stadium just to be safe.

It doesn't take long for a fire to be put out with everyone help. However, the city guard still struggle to get people to leave the crime scene.

“Please let me have a look around the area.”

It was at this moment Marco come out and every wolf sudden go silence. They look as Marco walk in front of storage that now have a giant hole on the side. Some city guard try to stop him but a wolf guard who was watching the tournament convince them to let Marco enter.

For most wolf not only did he just won numenus but he is also a son of their Fenrir. Even now in bandage Marco has a presence that exert authority of a king and everyone pay attention to him. With the power he just shows from his final punch even most senior student are uncertain if they can beat him so they stay silence.

Marco looks around and start to sniff out any smell he can find among the burning wood without anyone trying to stop him.

“This is no gunpowder but magic.” he concludes.

His eye looks around the area that used to store sport equipment and found a metal that doesn’t belong

“a MAM bomb” Marco said as he picks up a piece of a bomb.

‘That piece look like a bomb from before’ Bill remembers it look exactly the same down to the material.

When Marco sniffs the bomb he was caught by a strong smell so he follow it and just a few meters away just around a corner he found a foot print.

With Marco word all wolf turns their eyes to Biscuit, a lone sheep in this place.

“I I didn’t do it” Biscuit hide behind Eirian.

“She was with me all day so you leave her alone” said Eirian but most wolf still walk closer to Biscuit surrounding Bill’s group.

“She’s my friend so back off” When Amy step up most wolf remember her from tournament so they back down and look at each other.

“Who care about you, someone attack us and I’m going to get an answer” one wolf moves up and tries to grab Biscuit ear.

Eirian moves himself to block and prepare for a fight.

“What do you think you’re doing” Calamity come out of nowhere and grab that wolf arm.

Biscuit watch in surprise.

“I’m going to see if those fleeces is as soft as rumor say” the wolf taunt Calamity and move his other arm to attack but before he knows it Calamity punch him in the stomach and put him down on the ground.

Other wolf now starts to prepare for a fight. Calamity walks in to join with Bill.

“Where have you been” Bill asked.

“Why are there still people here! GET THEM OUT!” suddenly with a sound of Professor Leon scream half of the crowd magically gone missing, most were senior student.

While everyone starts to scatter away from professor some wolf starts to gather around Marco.

“We should leave this to the city guard” said Biscuit as she pulls Eirian shirt.

But Eirian is still look at the crime scene.

With people clearing out Bill start to look for a clue for his theory ‘I don’t see a core could it be that it explodes itself when trigger?’

"Can you guy see any core or object or power that could power a MAM?” Bill asked his friend.

“Nope”

“I can only see your guy leg”

“I look from above and don’t see any core why?”

Bill tries to look for a core for a few more minute before answer “Last bombing took down just a small warehouse so I thought MAM was use just to power and trigger a gunpowder or gas tank that already rigged. But if they force a core to explodes then the bomber is crazier than I thought.”

Bill remembers how an unstable D class core explodes in a salvage factory and took down half the building and few hundred people with it.

Usually, a core can withstand a lot of force. A protection seal is the first thing Amiel set up when they are forging a core. Even if you fire a gun directly at an old core it would just bounce away. Or if you use a magic attack to break a core then all magic inside will be used to protect its shell first and a core will just disintegrate not explode.

To force a core to explode is to undo the first seal and cause all magic inside to be release at once. Not only it is very hard but also very dangerous. There is no way to tell how big of explosion impact is going to be and the person undoing the seal is likely the first one to die so Bill never heard anyone attempted it before.

Bill shook at the thought. If the bomber has a really powerful core, he might accidentally wipe off the entire city in a blink of an eyes.

“What do you mean you are following the scent that our job! Now get out of the way” Professor Leon shout at Marco and a pack of wolf standing behind him.

“If we delay the bomber might get away, we can still scent him. Let us help you.” Marco calmly answers Professor Leon.

“My nose still works fine so no” Leon turns to city guard “You two follow me. The rest of you block the road and these kid”

Professor Leon immediately start to follow the strong scent. Leaving a few city guards to rush in and try to hold these students.

Marco and a few wolves manage to evade the guard and run after Professor Leon.

“Are we gonna follow them?” said Amy.

“Of course,” everyone looks at each other in agreement except Biscuit who out voted.

With Josh flying above they can easily follow where Professor Leon is going and avoid any guard blocking the road.

After a moment of running Professor Leon found himself in front of a fountain in a middle of Sheep community.

In the city of Alana even if it is free for each race to choose where to settle in any part of the city as they please, some races are more likely to choose an area where most of their race settle in and away from certain race that they don’t like.

Sheep and wolf are such race. There are other races mix in nearby but when it comes to sheep no one want to live next to a wolf and most wolf don’t feel like living next to a sheep either.

And somehow this place is exactly where the scent stops.

“The scent gone?” Marco and a few wolves catch up with Professor Leon. Bill group follow behind.

“What are those wolves doing here” some sheep and goat that noticed a large number of wolves in front of their Father Pan fountain start to gossip.

“Shit...so this is what they want” Professor Leon says as he looks at Marco and a dozen wolves staring at sheep in their home.

“Hey what are you guy doing here” one goat shout.

“We’re following a bomber track.” said Marco.

“Bomber?” a sheep and goat start to look at each other.

“We believed a bomber is a sheep”

“What!”

“How dare a wolf accuse us”

“Sorry, everyone this kid doesn’t know what he talks about. We’re still investigating” Professor Leon step up and walk to Marco to shut him up. If not because he still needs to have some pride as a strongest wolf in this city, he would bow his head already to stop a storm that about to happen.

“We are leaving” Leon said to every wolf in threaten manner.

“What do you mean leaving. You have arrest all of them.” Marco shout back.

A group of sheep now start to form around them, some carry an unsheathe sword.

“Wait wait” Bill walks up and try to talk with Marco, his friend unsure what is he doing.

“Who are you?” said Marco.

“I’m Bill you don’t know me but I think Professor Leon is right we should leave.”

Both Leon and Marco don’t react.

“I’m been to the first bomb site before I know how the first suspect was caught” Professor Leon narrow his eye but Bill keeps talking.

“There is a scent that help investigation back then too, a perfume right Calamity?” Bill turns to his friend half hoping he won’t just see a tail.

Bill almost thanks the god when he sees Calamity still standing there.

“Yes, a strong unique perfume.” he answers.

“This time is the same so clearly the bomber wants to trick us into arresting wrong people. He or she properly gone in other direction already.”

Marco finally looks around and see them surround by only a sheep and realize Bill is right.

Without hesitation Marco turn to the sheep and bow his head “Sorry everyone it seems I was wrong. We’ll be leaving now”

“Marco why do you have to bow your head to these sheep like that”

“Yeah, you are our Fenrir’s son these meats don’t deserve it.”

“Say that again” some sheep start to pull their sword out.

Professor Leon bite his teeth and look up at the top of white tower hoping for help.

“Everyone please clams down” a voice spoke up and all the goat and sheep immediately lower their weapons.

When Professor Leon turn to see his colleague, he let out thank to månen.

“Chief sent me” said a white sheep in black apostolnik with Amalthaea crest at the left chest.

Leon nod in understanding and turn to deal with his student “Alright if any wolf utters one more word, I’ll personally make them run laps around the city once every morning until graduate.”

Everyone now shut up and follow Leon.

“Sister Fay what happen? We heard a sound...” a crowd ask the sheep that just arrive.

“There’s been an accident...” her voice fade as Bill walks away from the fountain.

Later on, Professor Leon order everyone so stay in their room for the night. He stares at Bill before let him leave but didn’t say anything.
