What I saw in my inventory shocked me greatly. I immediately recognized them these were my items! Everything I had in Alterlife had been imported with me into Alterlife 2. I'm such a cheater now... But then I thought about it again, all the items in my inventory were high level items that I couldn't equip.
My demon lord armor was restricted to level 900 and also needed the user to be of the demon race in order to equip it... No need to say that it was totally useless to me now... I had many potions which were very useful and other various stuff I could see a use for but most items were useless or too high level to use.
I also noticed that some items were missing, probably due to an incompatibility with AL2 systems... The most important items in my inventory were my 3 storage rings. 1 was a Medium ring of holding, the other 2 were superior rings of holding.

Superior ring of holdingMinimum level:150Durability:100/100Rank:SRarity:RareWhen inventory space become a problem, this rarely found ring will give 75 additional inventory slots to the wearer.
I could hardly keep myself from grinning. Inside those rings were my most valuable treasures. Jewels, precious metals and materials, precious and very rare ingredients... This was a total jackpot! But I was far from high enough level to equip and use them so I simply left them alone for now.
I then closed my inventory and started to familiarize myself with my environment and new body. The feeling of the cold water brushing against my body... The realism was amazing... I couldn't believe how realistic this new system was.
“Now I guess what I need to do is eat and grow into my adult newt form...” (Kneeko)
Thing is, I couldn't bring myself to move from where I was. This pond was so incredibly dangerous that venturing too far away from my “safety algae” was a certain death sentence. Right now i was on the bank of the pond where it is shallow, therefor safer for me.
I looked around in my immediate vicinity and spotted another mass of eggs similar to the one i was born from, but these eggs seemed smaller in size and reddish in color. I sneakily swam toward the hundreds of eggs and took a closer look.
On top of the mass of egg was a small black and red frog. The red patterns over it's body looked like someone had dropped fire-red paint on it. For a small animal to be this brightly colored instead of being “camouflage color” meant that it was most likely highly poisonous.
“[Identify]” (Kneeko) I used the identify command as i was staring at it.

“Dendrobate obscuro...” (Kneeko)
So this is what i know: Dendrobates is a genus of poison dart frogs native to Central and South America. Dendrobates once contained over 40 species, but has lost nearly all of them to the genera Oophaga, Ranitomeya, Andinobates, and Phyllobates.
And then iIalso know that obscuro sound a lot like “obscure”... I opened a web browser interface and did some quick research. It turn out that obscuro is Latin that can mean: (blind, conceal, cover, darken, eclipse, hide, obscure, overshadow, shade, suppress, the dark, veil). So by deduction it's safe to assume that it is indeed a poisonous frog and that the poison will most likely blind the victims...
Not the most tempting meal if you ask me but after a quick look around I realized that it was either eating those, or eat mosquito larvae. The later was a bit annoying because they were so small and weak. They didn't give any EXP and I would need to eat a enormous quantity of them before seeing any benefits.
After eating around 50 mosquito larvae, my limbs had barely grown at all. While I was doing that, I saw some poison frog tadpoles hatch and swim away. One of them had been eaten by a fish but a few seconds later the fish started floating belly up, dead. Then the tadpole leisurely swam out of it's mouth and went on his merry way...
Now starting to find this little game boring, i decided to cheat... I had all these things in my inventory, may as well make good use of them. My first idea was to use a high level detox potion to get rid of the poison after eating one of these tadpoles. The experimentation failed since the bottle that appeared was bigger than me. I had no means to uncork the bottle, and I couldn't drink it underwater now could i?
Then i looked at my scrolls. There was a means to detox through potions but there was one through magic as well. There's a spell used to remove status effects like curses or poisons on a person. If you don't know the spell, you can buy a scroll containing the spell instead of learning it. The inconveniences are that they are a one use items and cost a fortune...
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

I have enough mana and can definitely consider it, even though this may be overkill... I don't think these little frogs have a Rank A poison or above but may as well be safe. I slowly creep up to the “nest”, and wait for an egg to hatch.
As soon as i see an egg twitch I rocket toward it and grab the tadpole that come out of it with my mouth. I bite it's tail with no intention of letting go until it's dead. So I begin violently hitting it with my tail which I used as a whip.
You have been poisoned by [Obscuro Poison (Rank B)].

Wow... Rank B poison... And not only that, I was now blind and disorientated. It truly is a horrible feeling. But then another message box (only things I can now see) appeared.
You have learned a new Active Skill [Tail whip]. (Cost. 150 Stamina) (Mastery: E)
The strength, speed and precision of this attack varies depending on your skill points and mastery of the skill.
Since I have quite a bit of strength this attack should hit pretty hard (When it comes to a tadpole fight). It will cost most of my stamina but I can't waste time with this poison chipping away at my health like that.
“[Tail Whip]!” (Kneeko)

This time my attack had a lot more power being it and the tadpole finally died. I quickly ate the tadpole and with 30HP left, used the scroll to remove the poison. Waiting for my health to regenerate, I started to analyze the best course of action. I finally had grown my legs but even as an adult, i was only a damn newt...
I had 20 of these detox scrolls left... And i was curious to test a theory. My thought are that what I kill/eat may influence my future monster rank up. So obviously eating poisonous frog could potentially bring a very interesting result, so the plan is to keep eating more of them.
5 frog tadpoles and 2 level ups later, what I was waiting for finally happened!
