Outer Worlds realm. On one of the nine hundred and ninety-nine worlds.
A soul; invisible, formless, and weightless, travels through the infinite void and enters seamlessly into a now pregnant woman. There, it begins to fuse with, and nurture, a new baby life-form. This soul is a mutated one, created by the fusion of a normal soul, and of another soul that has leeched its way into the ‘Outer World’. Here, the leech soul rests, waiting until its body develops and grows. Crossing over as a full soul was very taxing, and it would take years to fully recover. So for now, it lay dormant, unnoticeable.
Time moves forward. 10 months have passed and a baby has just been born, it is a healthy human boy.
Darkwin Continent, at the very top of the Northern Lands.
Here rests the town of Dustin, which is less than a thousand miles from the capitol city of the small country known as Northern Shore country. Here, a baby’s first cry of life rings out in a small room of Dustin manor, the home of the ruling family of Dustin, the Shuba Clan.
This manor is incredibly large, consisting of 15 bedrooms, 10 other rooms of various uses, a Lord’s Chamber, a library the size of 5 normal rooms, and many smaller servant chambers, as well as a massive kitchen and dining hall. Currently there are three women and a newly born baby together in one of the spare rooms, which was made into a birthing chamber. Currently in the room there is the towns top midwife doctor, the servant girl Sara, and the Young Madam of the Shuba Clan, Karlen Shuba, as well as her newborn baby son.
“Ha ha, Young Madam, it is a healthy boy! Listen to its cries, what a strong Young Master you have given birth too, he will be strong just like his father. Quickly Sara, go inform Sir Gerrard immediately, he has an heir!”
“Yes Miss Doctor, I’ll go right now. I'm sure Sir is incredibly anxious, who would think a man would be more nervous than the woman, who is the one that is actually giving birth.”
“Come now Sara, Sir Gerrard is the Young Lord of Dustin city. His father is even serving on the War Council for all of Northern Shore. Having an heir in such a position is very important. I'm sure he is hoping everything has gone smoothly, quickly go ease his worries.”
“Yes Miss Doctor.” Sara quickly bowed and hurried out of the room heading towards the Lords Chamber to report to her employer, Sir Gerrard.
Within the Lords Chamber of Dustin Manor
In this room, a man impatiently paces back and forth across the length of the room. His hands balled together in nervousness as he waits for an update to his wife and child’s condition. This man is Sir Gerrard, who many in Dustin call the Young Lord. He is a man in his early twenties with a face that draws in many second, and even third looks by the ladies of Dustin, as it was seemingly crafted by an expert sculptor. He has shoulder length black hair that leaves women envious of its perfect condition; and deep, brown eyes that give off an aura of experience when looked at. The man wore very posh clothing made from the hide of powerful ferocious beasts. In the room with him was an old butler who everyone referred to as Old Tom. Today, Old Tom was responsible for keeping Sir Gerrard calm. He knew Sir Gerrard well, having been pres3nt on the day of his birth. Now, the cute baby f4om back then was all grown up, and was about to have his own child enter the world.
“Ger, take a seat, this pacing around the room like an impatient child is unfitting of a Young Lord such as yourself.” Old Tom spoke while chuckling to himself. Although he was technically employed by the man in front of him, and by rights should speak formally to the man, Sir Gerrard had actually forbidden this, as Old Tom was his closest of confidants. Thinking of how the little lad had grown into the Young Lord of today, Old Tom sighed in admiration. To be in his early twenties, yet be in charge of all of Dustin was very admirable.
However the most shocking thing about this man right now was not his position but his cultivation! Sir Gerrard was already in the 5th tier stage of a Hundred Step Practitioner, known as an Expert Practitioner. If he continued on at the rate he has, he would reach peak Hundred Step, the peak of the 5th tier, by the age of 30! This was unheard of in all of Dustin’s 2000 year history! His Father, Sir Galan, had only reached this peak at the age of 50, and this itself was enough to earn him a position of power in the capitol city of Northern Shore! It must be known that peak Hundred Steps is not something simple, it is single boundary away from becoming a Martial General. This is a level of cultivation that only the Lord of all Southern Shore, and a few Elder level characters within sects of the capitol city were known to have. Upon reaching this stage, a person would go from having 100 years of life to 250. More than double the average lifespan! This not only comes with a huge increase in strength, but also gives them more time to aim for even higher levels! If things continued this way, then eventually the Shuba clan would be able to make itself known even the capitol city. How grand would this be! Again, Old Tom sighed to himself. Inside his heart he was hoping he would live to see such a day...

A knock rings out on the door, stopping Sir Gerrard in his tracks and snapping Old Tom out of his thoughts. A voice rings out, “Sir Gerrard. May I enter?”
“Yes yes Sara, quickly come in. Tell me, is everything alright with my darling Karlen? How is she? And the baby?” Gerrard anxiously asks, making his way over to the door. Finally, he thinks to himself. Poor Karlen has been in labour for an entire day already.
Sara, entering the room and seeing the condition of Sir Gerrard can’t help but giggle to herself. Releasing him from his tension, she answers. “Sir Gerard do not worry! Young Madam is fine. She has just now finished giving birth, and nothing has gone wrong. Congratulations, you have an heir, Young Lord and Young Madam now have a healthy baby boy!”
Hearing this, Gerrard cheers out and jumps for joy, much like a little child receiving their favourite treat. “That’s amazing, come, quickly take me to them at once. Haha I have a son. I have a son!” Sir Gerrard, hearing the news, embraces Old Tom in joy.
The three quickly left the Lords Chambers, heading for the room being used as a birthing chamber, located further to the back of the manor. Along the way it was obvious to anyone that Gerrard was ecstatic with the news that he had gotten an heir. Any servant he met along the way would be greeted by name and motioned to follow along by Gerrard himself. These people usually rarely spoke to this Young Lord, but were now invited to share in the joy of his sons’ birth.
Upon arriving at the door to the birthing chamber, the servants of the manor tactfully waited nearby, leaving a path for Sir Gerrard to enter the room. As he approached, he couldn’t help but continuously grin while hearing the congratulations of those around him. In the room, on the other side of the door, he could hear the crying of a baby. Excitedly, and very nervously, he opened the door to the room.
In the room, his wife Karen was holding a young baby wrapped in a pure white cloth blanket. One could only see the cute, chubby face of the newborn lad. Upon seeing her husband walk into the room, Karen smiled. “Dear husband, I have not disappointed you. Look! What a cute little boy, hah he even has your eyes. Miss Doctor here has said he is completely healthy.”
“What are you saying Len'ner, you could never disappoint me! I'm glad you are okay and that nothing went wrong. Please rest well and recover, I'm sure you are exhausted after such a long labour.” Gerrard quickly rushes over to his wife's side, checking on the condition of her and the baby both.
“Miss Doctor, would it be alright for me to hold him, I must show Old Tom outside that I have such a cure and strong little boy.”
The doctor smiles hearing those words. “Of course, let me show you how to hold him first, lest you drop him on his face.”
“That's great, thank you for coming to help my Len'ner these past few days. To express my thanks, I will include an extra 30 gold pieces to your payment, please don't refuse my request in the future when we have more children.”
“Thank you Young Lord, although I was just doing my job. I must say Young Madam certainly has strong vitality, she never came close to being exhausted or in danger whatsoever. Aah, to have such beautiful looks and also be a 4th stage Practitioner, simply amazing.” The doctor says, a large smile on her face. It must be known that this was many times more than any other payment she had ever received. For a commoner, and those of around the 1st stage level of cultivation, 5 gold pieces was simply half a years worth of pay. One gold piece was the equivalent of 100 silver pieces. For other births, she would usually earn around 20 to 30 silver pieces. In one go, she had just earned 100x her usual pay, and this was just the extra, she had already also received 10 gold pieces before now. Oh how nice it is to work for such a rich and strong person such as this, I can actually afford to reach beginner 2nd tier with this money, yet for Sir Gerrard this was simply a casual amount to hand out!
Sir Gerrard thought little of this amount of money. As a 5th tier Martial Practitioner, earning money was never hard. This amount was easily made back many times over by coming across a semi rare medicinal plant, or by selling a basic mid tiered Mortal grade Treasure or Weapon. These things were gathered in large amounts as one adventured, and Gerrard had spent a decent amount of his teen years adventuring to gain opportunities and experience in the rest of the Country. But to anyone of the 2nd tier or below, this was a huge amount of wealth to receive in one go. One could buy a few low-grade medicines and strengthen the body to reach early 2nd tier with this amount. This was a great assistance to a commoner, as ones strength and endurance was as many as 10 times stronger than a normal human upon reaching this level. A wonderful assistance to those that needed to protect themselves, or earn a living doing manual work.
After showing off his son to everyone nearby who had a pulse, Gerrard personally hosted a large banquet for all his servants, and also sent out word to his closest friends and relatives in order to invite them to a much larger party to be held a week from now. The Naming party was a tradition in Darkwin, it was an opportunity to show off ones heir, and let the townsfolk know of the continuation of ones bloodline, and growth of the family.

. . .
For now, our little soul was sleeping peacefully, keeping an eye on its surroundings with its unusually strong perception. Not much I can do for now, it had thought. I'll have to wait a bit for my body to grow, and crossing into the living realms pretty much wiped my strength clean. I guess for now I will let my body act on its own impulse, keeping the appearance of a true newborn baby, while I lay low and focus on recovering some strength, and letting my body adapt to my strong soul. Luckily the World Qi around here isn't too lacking, and it appears there is no major cultivators around here to interrupt my recovery.
So the soul began to recover itself. Taking the opportunity to enjoy having it's own body for the first time ever, it decided to lay almost fully dormant, and experience the wonders of life as naturally as possible.
