"Arrhh... Ughhhh" Tai Kaui groaned tiredly getting up. "Huh? Where am i? Oh, that's right... in the dragons den huh..." Looking around the blood had already dried and was beginning to smell. Tai Kuai got up and looked at his the jade ring on his finger. He then tried willing something to come out but nothing did so he tried calling out what could be inside.He yelled out "All martial skills at the 9th rank!". Although Tai Kuai wasn't sure if there was but remembering the story his father told him about his ancestor leaving priceless "Legendary" ranked martial skills he had left for his clan. Surely there should be rank 9 martial skills right? There was even a skill the ancestor had created but the name had been forgotten.

Curious, Tai Kuai went and climbed up and what he saw was a egg. A big egg that was a meter tall and a meter wide. Besides it was the small black dragon. It looked s if it were protecting it.
At the same time Tai Kuai climbed up then small black fire dragon had woken up and starred at Tia Kuai cautiously. "Haha.. don't worry little fellow....I feel sorry about what had happened to your mother... If I had the strength, I would have helped you.. I'm sorry" Tai Kuai bowed. Those were his true feelings. Although he had completely pillaged everything from the den that belonged to the black fire dragon, at the same he thought that it was something he should do and it shouldn't be left alone because if bandits or Elders from some sect discover it, many people could die from this. He also saw that the black fire dragon was similar to him as he could see himself in it, unable to do anything and couldn't protect those close to you as they have no strength.
"I'm pretty similar to you" Tai Kuai said while sitting down and leaning back against the nest. "I am also unable to help the one close to me. I'm weak. I haven't started cultivating yet but.....that is what makes me feel miserable..." Tai Kuai spoke slowly as tears fell from his eyes. "My father died leaving to run out of the village. He felt like a huge mountain was lifted oh his heart because this time he had decided to grow strong for the sake of his clan and bring back its glory while making a promise to his father. He had also decided to kill when he has to or not depending on the situation. Tai Kuai had been through all of this in 2 days had felt like an year to him. The death of this friends and family and the Elders of the "7 Swords Pavilion" fighting with the injured black fire dragon. Also the cunning bandit leader with his fellow minions. This had made Tai Kuai mature and he has started making rational decisions. As an 8 years old, this was rare.
As for the little black fire dragon it looked at Tai Kuai as if could understand it and softened its gaze when he saw Tai Kuai crying. He looked around and went up to the wall and punched it.

As Tai Kuai thought of this, he instantly knew what stages his strength could rival at. The strength he could rival at was a 3rd realm "Soldier". After knowing this, he then noticed that there was a mysterious stone tablet in his jade ring and pulled it out.
He pulled it out of his jade ring and began to study it as it somehow gave him knowledge of peoples strength he desired to know. If it was knowledge he had desired. 'Then will this stone tablet give the information i want?' Tai Kuai thought of an elixir that was in was in the box and a bottle of pills came out. The pill had 2 colors. one half was blue and the other was red. As he looked at it, the information he wanted to know instantly appeared in his mind.
Amazed at such an object he put it back in his ring and looked at the small black dragon that starred at him. "So.. what did you do to me?" Tai Kuai asked indifferently as he starred back at the dragon. The small black fire dragon looked at him and its mouth curled up while looking at him and "human, i have decided I , the magnificent BLACK FIRE DRAG-"
"WOAH WOAH! YOU CAN SPEAK! SAY THAT EARLI-GUAAAH!" Tai Kuai took a few steps back while clutching his stomach and said "what was that for?! And how did you do that! Speaking without opening your mouth? Freak!?!" "WHO'S A FREAK YOU PETTY HUMAN! ITS TELEPATHY! or you can call it a "Soul Link". I have bonded with you because I believe you can become strong and I have given you strength. Your strength won't increase unless you train it and the reason I have done this because I, the magnificent BLACK FIRE DRAGON! will let you grow along me!" The small black fire dragon said mentally while grinning.
"Okay... in other words you wanted to bond with me so that we can grow along side each others brothers and you pretty much admire me and you want me to help protect your brother right? Thanks for the power and yea that's understandable...I will help you.. my.uhhh.. brother?" Tai Kuai said in a gentle tone as if he thanked the dragon. "By the way, whats your name? you have been calling yourself 'The Magnificent Black Fire Dragon!" Tai Kuai said teasingly as he raised his hands in the air.
"Yes, brother! I don't know what it is! Mummy said until I adult, the I shall have a name. But....." the black fire dragon began to look depress again. Tai Kuai looked at the small black fire dragon and thought ' a name huh...'
"How about..... Xiao Hei?" Tai Kuai suddenly said. The small black fire dragon looked up and jumped around happily as if a child had just gotten a candy bar for free. "YEAH! MY NAME SHALL BE XIAO HEI! BAHAHAHA, FEAR ME YOU LOWLY BREATHENS BECAUSE XIAO HEI IS HERE! HAHAHAHAH!' Xiao Hei shouted mentally. 'My heads gonna explode at this rate' Tai Kuai thought as Xiao Hei kepts on laughing.
"So lets leave... this cave because the Elders of the sect will probably come here as the Elders here have died and as for that egg I can put in my inter spacial ring. Although the ring can stop food from rotting it can still keep living things in there in a certain area called "Dimensional Rift". The ring i have is one of a kind! A powerful "War God" had created this! hehe and its my ancestor! What do you think?" Tai Kuai laughed proudly.
'Hmph! Well it's not a bad ring and okay if it keeps my little brother or sister alive then i'm okay with it as it can keep it safe.' Xiao Hei replied.
"Well, lets go!" Tai Kuai shouted while running towards the exit as Xiao Hei jumped on the top of his head.
