Newland City is a natural city that is not under any race authority instead it's ruled by multiracial counsel as the rest of the cities in the Twilight Domain.

Heaven delight house is one of the most luxurious inns in the city, at the second floor a man set on one of the tables alone, he has a handsome face with dark hair, and his clothes give you the impression of nobility.

"Mr Alex! Sorry if I am late " a soft voice sounded and handsome man turned his face to the voice source, it was a middle-aged woman, she has brown hair and from her dress and jewellery, anyone would know she is a rich woman.

The man stood and greeted the woman with a smile on his face and said "It's fine madam Angelina, this is my favourite inn I would not mind staying for a while "

The woman smiled and replied, "It's good then, you sent a message to me yesterday, have you managed to kill that varmint ?? "

Alex took a sip from the coffee that was in his hand and said without haste, "If he weren't dead, I wouldn't have communicated with you, Madam."

The woman's expression turned strange when she heard this as if she remembered an embarrassing situation, then returned to normal. She replied, "Can I see him?"

Before she could finish her sentence, a black bag appeared at her side, the woman's gaze stopped on that bag and hatred and anxiety appeared in her eyes. She gathered her courage and grabbed the bag and opened it.

A man's head is inside the bag. If we look more closely, we will find that he is the hybrid who was killed by the mysterious woman yesterday.

Madame Angelina closed the bag then turn her to Side and raised her voice " Lenny bring Mr Alex's compensation"

A green-haired elf servant appeared behind the lady, his face was very beautiful no less beautiful than a female face , he replied in a soft voice " Yes my lady "

Then he took out an exquisite small box and put it on the table. Alex looked at the small box with a smile then he put it away.

Madame Angelina let out a seductive laugh when she saw that Alex was not checking what was inside the box, then she got up from her place and said, "Since this is over, I will take my leave. I hope we won't meet again, Mr Alex."

Madame Angelina took a final glance at Alex who Smiled when he heard what she said, then she turned around and left the floor with her servant.

"Madame who is this man? "Asked Lenny

Madame paused when she heard the question and replied grimly, "He's a shadow assassin. He doesn't assassinate ordinary people, but blood warriors and holy knights."

Lenny felt a chill in his boons we heard this and fear flashed through his eyes.

Madame Angelina continued her speech with a sigh "The reward that was in the box is a precious gem that my family had for a long time called the Stone of Knowledge, although we do not know what it is it is something valuable or my family would not have kept it generation after generation I wouldn't have given it to him if I don't have any other options"

Suddenly, Madame stumbled and almost fell to the ground, but soon a person supported her. Madame Angelina raised her head to thank that person, to see a very beautiful woman with silver hair and an aura of coldness surround her which brought a chill to the madam's heart.

Madame could not help but bow and say, "Thank you for your help, young lady."

The young woman nodded, she was about to pass them when she noticed the bag in the servant's hand which made her surprised but she didn't stop and passed the two of them entering the second floor.
