Synopsis
Chance and Hope is a religious fantasy novella about the seven-year journey of the ghost of Jacob Marley from A Christmas Carol, culminating in the pivotal Christmas Eve in Ebenezer Scrooges’ life made immortal by Charles Dickens.
My own upbringing and The Screwtape Letters by C. S. Lewis inspired this work. At its core, this book is about how we limit our own progression by holding ourselves to a standard of perfectionism that does not exist.
