Chapter 4
As Noah heard that question he started weeping, “Allan is dead, he is gone. I am sorry, mom, dad. It was because of m He gone forever…i-…iff I was just stronger, then maybe I would be able to help him.” he weeps as tears flood his eyes. As he sobs, they extend their arms to comfort the crying child. The child whales in the arms of his parents. As he cries, he falls asleep from exhaustion.
“Hey! Albert look at him and see his current status.” His mom stated. As his father looked at his status. He was amazed by the numbers he could see, along with various traits. However, from the analysis he took he also knows that Noah is like this as his body is about to crumble and destroy his core, this is because his body is still underdeveloped causing his body to quiver and strain.
“Melinda, this is bad. We have to get Noah out here and put some kind of restriction.” Albert spoke with visible urgency, he knew as long as Noah’s power is not limited he will be in big trouble. “Huh?! What do you mean restrict?” Melinda questioned as she put Noah on Albert’s back, “what I mean is our Noah was forced to awaken and he might be the cause of those chains, gaining a lot of experience and leveling up and because his body is still underdeveloped it strained his body.
With full speed they went to the exit of a cave and visited a witch doctor. “Egress, please help us our son is in a bad shape” the pair exclaimed as they knocked at the witch doctor’s door. “Ah! Melinda, Albert come inside quick and tell me what happened at what can I do to help” the witch doctor invited them, opening the door leading to a dusty and unkempt shack one might not even consider a home or a workplace.
“Sorry for the messy place I haven’t had any visitors aside from you two. So, how can I help you old friends?” Egress states as he welcomes them. “Egress, we need you to curse our son…” Albert states. “Are you sure? You want to curse your own son? Have you both gone senile or what?” The witch doctor is visibly confused by the request Albert gave him. “No, you got me wrong. We want you to curse our son so that you could limit the current strength he has, and temporarily close his awakening for at least ten to twelve years.”
“Ah! You want me to limit him for now, let me guess his power strains his body?” as Egress states. “Yes, it would be very appreciated.” The pair state with visible relief. “Fine, put him here and stay there in the other room. Oh! And forget about the payment as it is a request from you two.”
“Really, thank you very much! We will never forget about this” as the two exited the room to wait patiently.
…
After some time the witch doctor came out of that shabby room, bearing some great news.
“So, how did it go, Egress?” Melinda questioned him. “ It was successful and I also treated some of the burn marks that he has.” he delivered to the pair. “Thank you very much Egress, I don’t know how to repay you.” Albert is full of gratitude.
“Oh, you want to pay me? Well, consider it paid when you tell all of the things that occurred.” the witch doctor rebuked. “Well it is a long story and I don’t even have the full story. Are you sure you want to hear it?” Albert asked the curious doctor. “Yes, I am sure. Because I feel like I could fill some of the gaps in the events that you don’t know” the witch replied. “Fine then, I shall start from the beginning” Albert returned.

Knock! Knock! Knock!
Three knocks came from the front door. The couple playing with their child were surprised as they did not expect someone would come to visit their humble abode. “Who is it?” the beautiful wife Melinda questioned as she reached for the front door. Creeeeeaaaak! As the old door opened to a shabby yet comfortable and clean house.
“Mom! Dad! I’m home!” a tall and well framed figure stood in front of the door. “Allan! Your back, you did not inform us that you will be going home from the academy” Melinda greeted him wholeheartedly. “Yeah, you should have told us that you're coming home so that we could at least prepare. Noah! Come here your brother is here, come greet him.” His father followed their mother’s sentence. “It's alright as I’m here for just a vacation. Now where is my sweet little brother?” Allan paused to look for his brother. Suddenly a quick little figure jumped in front of him. “Hiya! Aha, I got you. You did not see me coming didn’t you? You still have to be stronger so that you could sense me, the great hero of the travelers ” Noah playfully cheered with some teasing.
“Ah, there you are. And what’s this great hero of something?” Allan asked as he pats Noah's head unfurling Noah’s curly white hair. “The Great hero of Travelers, that’s what I want to be called when I grow up and become a hero.” Noah answered, enjoying the pats on his head. “You sure are optimistic, huh?” Allan replied. “I sure am op-ti-mis-tic… what does op-ti-mis-tic mean?” Noah paused as he struggled saying the word optimistic. “Hahaha! You sure are funny, don’t say words you don’t know the meaning of'' Allan says as he brushes his calloused hands against his brother's hair unfurling it even more, “come I brought a boar, so let's eat.” He continued.
“Wow! Thank you Allan you shouldn’t have” his mother exclaimed. “Oh I should, because I missed mom’s roasted boar.” Allan replied. “Alright then, Albert! Ready the kitchen, we’ll be preparing the boar and go on a picnic.” His mother ordered. “Oh, Noah got the loaf of bread on the table. I’ll be preparing sandwiches as well” their mother added.
“Here you go mom.”
“Thanks, just put it there on the counter top” Melinda states as she cuts the lettuce, tomatoes, while cooking some chicken and scrambled egg to be added to the sandwiches. On the other side of the kitchen, their father cleaned and marinated the boar so that it could be cooked.
Takakakatak, chop, chop chop. All of these can be heard in the kitchen as they prepared. As his father started the fire for the boar to cook in. His mother took the ox to put it all.

As boar is roasted the family sat on the table and began to share stories. “So, Allan, how have you been in the academy? Have they been treating you well?” his mother asked. “Ah, yes they did. In fact I am chosen to be the representative of our school at an upcoming event.” Allan replied enthusiastically.
“Ah, that’s good to hear. So, what is this event all about?” Albert asks his son about the specifics of the event he spoke of. “Ah, that? It’s a tournament where only three representatives of an academy are chosen. And, I am the top candidate for it.” Allan answered. “Really? When will this happen? And where exactly?” Albert asked again. “Fifth day of the fifth month, about 10 days from now. And at the arena in ‘Aeston’, you can go there as with me there is an inn reserved, by my professors, for the family of the representative.” Allan replied.
“Really? Well, we’ll have to give thanks to your professors then.” Albert stated with gratitude.
The smell of the roasted boar flooded the room, signaling that it is done cooking. “Hmm, it seems like the boar is done. Honey, turn off the fire please.” Melinda stated with excitement. “Shall we get ready then?” She followed.
