Chapter 1 - Cel

My ears are screeching, my breath is sharp and burning. My skin feels feverish and yet cold. My body feels wet and heavy, yet somehow light at the same time. My sight is pitch black despite the fact that I am sure I have my eyes wide open. Every moment I try to make, every breath that I try hard to take seers my body in agonizing pain. I have never felt this type of pain before, not even when I was shot through the stomach during my indoctrination.

My hair had loosened itself from my tight bun and I could feel it sticking to my skin. I must have some in my mouth as well, because every time I breath I feel the strands hitting the back of my throat.

Where am I? Why does my body feel like its wet?

I try to lift my arm, but I couldn't move any part of my body. Was I tied up? No, it didn't feel like I was restrained.

I felt a whoosh of cold wind pass over my feverish skin and then I noticed that my face was being hit with repeated small cold pricks. I think that was water. I turned all my concentration to my hearing which seemed to give me some clue where I was. I heard running water and heavy gusts of wind. I heard many drops of water around me, which would explain what was hitting me in the face. I'm outside? Where am I? How did I even get here? What was I doing before I was here? Why can't I remember what I was doing?

"Just remember." A dark and deep voice reached my ears. "You did this to yourself." Who was that?

"Wh-". I tried to speak, but I didn't have enough strength to get any words out.

"Don't you worry. I'll find you soon."

Who was talking to me? What was wrong with me? Why can't I move? Who does this voice belong to?

The last vestiges on my consciousness begin to fade and everything around me was going dark. I didn't think I could, but I felt oddly relieved at this entire situation. I was in pain, but I didn't care. If I still had the ability to, I would smile at the fact that I was dying.

I felt a pressure so strong and violent pumping on my chest that I jolted awake screaming.

"WAKE UP DAMN IT! DON'T DIE!" Who the fuck was that?

Please, please don't do this to me. This can't be real. So much blood, so much blood!
